Horrible. Just horrible. The guy was playing at the best level of his career in a crucial year for him contractually. They have probably the best back up in the league so the Boys should be alright in that dumpster fire of a division but I feel so bad for Prescott. He was really sticking it to people who said he wasn't a top quarterback.

That was hard to watch. Feel terrible for Prescott, I've always liked him.
This is exactly why Dallas signing Dalton to be their backup was such a good move though - normally an injury like that tanks a season but they still have a legitimate QB option.

I know, I am just pissed to see someone come so close to a life changing contract and possibly see it all go off that. We get Alex Smith back, and we lose Prescott to something like that just sucks.

It’s official. The 49ers are not good. I called weeks ago they were missing the playoffs. You can’t sustain those injuries to the heart of your team and be okay. Everything they do on defense revolves around the rush and subsequently their offense is most effective with the lead - not in shootouts or comeback efforts. I called it in the preseason. 😎

Fackrell just made another great play blowing up a screen in the backfield. Martinez has been fantastic from everything I've seen, much more than just the tackle machine he had a rep for. PFF has him as one of their top ranked linebackers in the league so far this season.
