Sunday Early Atlanta (0-5) at Minnesota (1-4) Baltimore (4-1) at Philadelphia (1-3-1) Chicago (4-1) at Carolina (3-2) Cincinnati (1-3-1) at Indianapolis (3-2) Cleveland (4-1) at Pittsburgh (4-0) Denver (1-3) at New England (2-2) Detroit (1-3) at Jacksonville (1-4) Houston (1-4) at Tennessee (4-0) Washington (1-4) at New York Giants (0-5) Sunday Late
New York Jets (0-5) at Miami (2-3) Green Bay (4-0) at Tampa Bay (3-2)
Sunday Night Los Angeles Rams (4-1) at San Francisco (2-3) Monday Evening
Kansas City (4-1) at Buffalo (4-1)
Monday Night Arizona (3-2) at Dallas (2-3)
🏈🏈🏈
A few great looking games this week. I'm especially looking forward to Packers/Bucs in the late slot with Joe and Troy. Particularly interested to see how the Tampa front holds up without Vita Vea against Aaron Jones, and whether Brady can bounce back from his embarrassing gaffe against the Bears and keep pace with Rodgers. TB12 won't be helped by his two top receivers missing practices with injury ahead of match ups with the best CB in the league so far this season Jaire Alexander.
Prior to that there's the big NFC North battle between Cleveland against Pittsburgh that Baker Mayfield will hopefully be able to suit up for, featuring Myles Garrett's first game against the Steelers since trying to bash Mason Rudolph's head off his shoulders. Will prime Canadian Bacon Chase Claypool sizzle again, or can the Browns turn the tables in the league's most one-sided rivalry?
The Monday games are also tasty with the Chiefs and Bills looking to bounce back from disappointing defeats and re-establish themselves as contenders for the AFC #1 seed. Will Clyde the Glide respond to the challenge to his snaps from the newly signed LeVeon Bell? Later on ESPN Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins get their second consecutive matchup against a terrible secondary, while Andy Dalton plays his first full game for the Cowboys in relief of the injured Dak Prescott.

Colts/Bengals might get postponed now as the BREAKING NEWS says that multiple people in the Colts organization have tested positive for COVID. Not good. Especially for it to happen on a Friday. Can they even push the game to a Tuesday? I guess we shall see how this turns out.

As for my predictions for this week:
I feel like Atlanta should win. New coach and all BUT I just think their D is worse. Maybe Minnesota comes in with a hangover and lack of confidence after blowing the win against Seattle, but I just think their team is better. Matt Ryan has been awful. Mattison AND Boone are probably going to eat this week and Thielen and Jefferson will probably both have over 100 yards receiving. It'll probably come down to a GW FG as time expires as Atlanta finds a new way to lose at the end. I'm going to take: Minnesota to win 30-27.
Philadelphia has looked really bad this season. My biggest concern is what the fuck happened to Zack Ertz? Talk about falling off. Carson Wentz is probably on his last 'wing' this season with Philly, but at least he got a ring even if it was because of Nick Foles. Baltimore hasn't looked good and I don't think they're good. Lamar is not playing well, but I think he's more hurt then we're led on to believe. The whole RB by committee is weird and even Mark Ingram said that the team is still trying to find their identity. Their identity is the DEFENSE and they should feast on bird this week. I don't think Philly puts up a fight like they did against Pittsburgh this week and Baltimore picks up the victory. I'll go as far as to say that Lamar Jackson has the best game of his season this week. Baltimore to win 38-10.
So all I hear is people saying that Chicago is not legit and that Carolina is legit. BLASPHEMY! I refuse to believe in this Panthers team no matter how much people are trying to hype them up. Chicago continues their 'not for real~!' run and shut down Teddy Bridgewater this game. Low scoring game, but that's where St. Nick and that Bears D thrives. Bears win 23-9.
Cincinnati/Indy is probably not going to happen, but Indy was going to crush them. Might be good news for the delay/postponement as Indy can get back Darius Leonard.
The Browns have been good this season, but against Pitt? Uh, I don't think so. Good luck getting that run game going against Pitt. They're not going to pull a Miles Sanders. So what's going to happen? Baker Mayfield is going to have to try and win them the game and that does not bode well. Time to get exposed and have a 3 interception game. Pitt whoops the crap out of Cleveland here reminding them that they're not quite there yet. Pitt remains undefeated thanks to their defense here. Pittsburgh wins 27-7.
Cam and Lock are both possibly returning this week. Unfortunately, that doesn't mean much for Denver here. Too many injuries and NE will torment Denver in this game. Lindsay returning will give them an extra weapon, but Bill will shut down who he wants to shut down. All of a sudden and I'll get to the why later, but all of a sudden the Patriots are back in the AFC East title picture. Patriots win 27-14.
Everyone got carried away with Jacksonville after Week 1, but they are not good. They're actually really bad. James Robinson will have a good fantasy game here, but no Chark has proven to be a big problem for Minshew. Shenault will have his best game of his career, but this feels like the game where Marvin Jones has his random monster performance of 150 yards and 2 TDs. Kenny G eats, as well and Detroit wins with ease. Lions win 34-17.
I believe. I didn't believe at first, but now I believe. I believe in Vrabel. I believe in Tannehill. I believe in the Tennessee Titans. Romeo Crenell became the oldest HC in NFL history to get a win and that happiness will be short lived. I'm sure Houston will find a way to keep this game close as they are division rivals, but in the end, Tennessee is just too strong. It'll be tighter then it should be as Watson will go Superman as much as he can, but the way Tennessee dominated Buffalo has me thinking Houston really has no chance. I'll stick to it being a closer game then expected, though. Titans win 27-23.
I am so lucky to be able to watch the Giants face the Redskins this week. That should keep my attention. NOT! Fucking sucks I have to watch this shit. Ron Rivera is the better HC, but I think it's time for the Giants to finally pick up a win. If not against the Redskins, then when? Giants win 20-17.
Oh look, another game I get the privilege of having to watch. Jets and Dolphins. I'm actually more excited to watch this then Giants/Skins, though. Fitzpatrick is fun to watch. The first game without Bell on the roster will make Gase do everything in his power to prove he was right all along! What does that mean? FRANK GORE REVENGE GAME! I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the Jets find a way to win this game, but fuck that noise. Frank Gore goes for 104 yards and 2 TDs in this game, but in the end it's Fitzmagic baby! Dolphins win 35-21.
BRADY! RODGERS! OH YES! Super excited for this game. I'll probably be watching this instead of Jets/Dolphins and who could blame me? Although I think TB12 is the GOAT, I just don't see how they can possibly win this game. Shit I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the Bucs get blown out here. The Packers are the best team in the NFC and TB is just too damn injured. No Godwin, no Lenny, no Vea, hobbled Evans, hobbles Scotty; no chance. I'm going to say the game is close in the first half, but the Packers run away with it in the 2nd half. GB remains undefeated here and the heat rises in Tampa. GB wins 34-17.
If San Francisco wasn't marred with injuries, I would be thrilled for this SNF game. I still am as a huge fan of Kupp/Kittle (okay, they're both on my fantasy team), but the Rams at this point are the better team. Same as I said for the Houston/Tennessee game, SF will probably keep this tight because they are division rivals. I just don't think they can pull off the victory. Jimmy G will be tormented by Aaron Donald here, but the Niners will still put up points. Just not enough to get the victory. Rams win 35-27.
I am loving these Chiefs postponements and getting to watch them on Mondays. Give me Kansas City EVERY Monday. I love this bandwagon I jumped on, too. Buffalo got spanked by Tennessee as Josh Allen fell back down to earth. I don't think he is as good as he looked at the beginning, especially if your game plan is DIGGS, DIGGS, DIGGS! Kansas City wipes their last loss out of their memory and CEH scores twice in his swan song before the Bells toll. Oh and I said I would come back to it so here I am. New England is now breathing down Buffalo's cold neck. Chiefs win 45-17.
The two questions I have going into this final game of the week are:
1- How will the Cowboys look now with Andy Dalton at the helm? - Sure, Andy Dalton has had success in the NFL, but he lacks the mobility of Dak. Will the Cowboys defense be able to step up now knowing that shoot outs might not be their best chance at winning? I feel Andy will look good this Monday and spread the ball more. Judging by that final GW drive, I think he likes Michael Gallup. A week of practicing with him as their QB1 should be good. It's not like Arizona has a lethal defense or anything. I think Andy looks fine this week and passes for 3 TDs.
2- Will the Cardinals accept the fact that Chase Edmonds is their best RB or keep feeding Kenyan Drake? - Yes, I angrily ask this question as a Chase Edmonds fantasy owner but come on man! Chase looks great out there and Kenyan Drake couldn't find a hole if he was inside a fucking cave. I know realistically Kyler Murray is probably their RB1 in terms of running the ball, but you can't expect him to look like Lamar Jackson last season! I really love this Arizona team and I expect this game to be a shoot out. You need to use your best options and at this point in the season, Chase Edmonds is a better option then Kenyan Drake!
Like I said; this will be a shoot out. In the end, I'm giving it to the man with the nickname made for shoot outs. The Red Rifle. Cowboys win 38-34.

There is a potential scenario where the Titans decimate the Texans. Houston can't defend the run and is vulnerable to the deep pass and play action. This may be the worst match-up in the league for the Texans.
But, it's a divisional game and the Texans beat the Titans last year smack bang in the middle of the Titans unstoppable run. So you never know. If football was predictable we wouldn't watch it.

Patriots/Broncos in Jeopardy now due to 3 players going on the COVID list. Notable names are Sony Michel and Shaq Mason.
Atlanta/Minnesota is not a definite to play either and is neither is Jacksonville/Detroit. The fact that starting this week the NFL will be doing game day COVID testing puts all games in question until they actually kick off. This season is a chess game against COVID. It’s insane honestly.

As much as I'm not looking forward to Monday, I think Allen bounces back this week and the game is at least competitive. I can't see Buffalo changing much with their defence. Key players are still hurt or playing hurt and they have no depth.
Even if Allen and the offence is lights out, its still the fucking Chiefs, who might not lose a single game this year the way they're playing.
Ugh. 4-2 is annoying but at least they play the Jets and Miami after this.

Since Seattle is on bye and Buffalo is on COVID break, I've decided to take my football viewing talents to Cleveland/Pittsburgh. Got a good feeling that will be the early game to watch.
Then of course Rodgers vs Brady followed by Carrie Underwood.
