The only person capable of making a compelling argument for Kingston being able to whoop Moxley in this environment is our political corrospondant c. Otherwise, it just feels like Kingston talked himself into a PPV main event similar to how CM Punk talked himself into a UFC contract. Mox wins and he continues to dominate the company.

Cody took his game to a whole other level at the dog collar match. I've been a little disappointed in his performances since, I think he's gone back to complacent Cody when he's capable of so much more. I get the feeling that Cody will try to hang onto the belt through any means necessary, but Darby is a risk taker and I feel like he'll want it more on the night.

Time for the Bucks to put their money where their mouth is. Lately they've said to hell with the nice guy act and have started to go all out in their matches. They've found an edge and I think they're going to be too good for FTR who are still finding their feet in AEW. They talked a big game too, but to FTR's credit, they're like Chumbawamba. They get knocked down, and they get back up again, you're never going to keep them down.

The Vicious Vixen has no business sharing the same ring as Shida. Tony Khan and the other matchmakers should be ashamed of themselves for putting together such an underwhelming match for one of the top performers in all of Pro Wrestling.

Adam Page is a top prospect, but he's the bridesmaid, never the Wife. Omega has struggled somewhat because everyone wrestles him like he's the world champion. They know if they can beat Omega, they can beat anyone and Kenny isn't Brock Lesnar. He can't take everybody's A-game, especially when he relies more on going the distance than a wham bam thank you ma'am F5. I think Kenny is starting to get wise to this and is switching his game up to be more vicious and to take more risks. I think Hangman is going to find out the hard way that Omega is a lot more ruthless and it'll set us up for a collision course between Omega/Moxley.

Going out on a limb with Darby Allin and Hangman Page. I think Darby would make a fantastic TV champion, and although Kenny Omega has found a new fire, I think Page winning the tournament and challenging Moxley is the more intriguing angle.

I might be buying more into this intense rivalry if Moxley didn't already put Kingston down in all of ten minutes in their last match. It's a shame because the storyline has been really good and their last face to face segment was amazing. But I just don't see him as a serious contender after that match. I doubt things change so drastically that Kingston could possibly take him down. I noted they said this is Kingston's first title match in 30 years or something though, so I guess they want us to forget the last match happened. My memory is bad, but not that bad.

This will probably be a Bucks win because of that stipulation; obviously they would be worthless in AEW if they couldn't ever challenge for the title again. There's no midcard title for them to fall back on like Cody did. But it would be such a bad move for the division that I am wishfully thinking that there will be a way for FTR to win. Maybe they will cheat and the Bucks will say their stipulation is void because of it or something.

AEW continuing their typical strategy of the short pay-off and taking all of FTR's thunder out from underneath them when they finally build up all this heat and are on fire would be too much for me to bear, so I am choosing FTR. I think I will be wrong, but I choose to have at least some faith in my pick.

I was wrong again, which sucks. But I was right about probably being wrong. I don't see where FTR go from here and don't agree with this booking at all. The continuation of the immediate quick payoff in every single AEW feud does not bode well for AEW either. The same type of feud every time is going to start to get boring.

I did watch it, and I think that's because the rest of the show delivered so strongly, making me more optimistic for this match than I otherwise would have been.
