How about Moxley breaking the news during his promo, that he and Renee are expecting. Soon a story should break about WWE pushing Roman to have another kid so all the future shield members can be around the same age.

Dr. Britt vs. Thunder Rosa is gonna be quite interesting.
And Shida vs. Anna Jay for the AEW Women's Title. The women's division is looking a little better now.

I'm a tad annoyed that Kingston's family was just a placeholder for Penta and Fenix until PAC returned, but I also like Death Triangle, sooo...guess that one is a wash. Should be a fun feud at least.
Will Hobbs turning heel is dope. Team Taz even more legit. Taz > Arn.
I want to believe the insane theories about who attacked Jon Moxley, but I have to assume it was just Omega himself. Would still be crazy if it were KENTA or someone super out there. But it won't be. They'll just use it as a reason why Omega was able to beat him next week as he enjoys a nice heel title run.
Why is the NWA Women's title more important than the AEW Women's title? Someone needs to remind AEW they have their own Women's division.

Now PAC is back, Penta and Fenix do not need Kingston as a mouthpiece. Let them feud for a bit, then have Eddie find a couple more people that need him as a mouthpiece to grow the family. That is what Kingston is the best at in AEW, shining up others.
NWA title has the lineage. Sure AEW has it's own title, but it is no NWA title. If he want use the title, he mine as well hype it the fuck up given the damn thing is 85 years old.

Kingston family stable never did make much sense. The guys in it were competing for the same goal. Now Pac and Kingston both are world title contenders. And the Lucha Bros and BNB can go after the tag titles.
Top Flight grew up fans of the Bucks and MCMGs? Sounds like they grew up watching TNA. The match I believe it served it purpose because it made Top Flight look really good.
I feel bad for Ricky Starks he can't sync his movements to team Taz theme like he can his solo theme

The Bucks Vs. TOP FLIGHT was a treat. Shades of Motor City Machine Guns indeed. Those kids have talent. They were a bit green, but still entertained me nearly as much as the Bucks. I felt their style was a lot more conducive to good matches than the Bucks even. Their moves were not just cool, but flowed naturally and looked hard to avoid. It didn't require the enemy team to look like buffoons and either stand still or walk into stuff like all the Bucks moves require. And they recovered when they were down with good teamwork and spacing rather than transforming into supermen. I'm not saying the have the experience to best the Bucks quite yet, but even that short match placed a certainty in my mind that they will be better eventually. Maybe even in just a few years. I hope they are featured more prominently going forward but we'll see. A potential feud with TH2 would be awesome, but that is very wishful thinking. That interference made me a dreamer though. The BTE trigger to end the match made me cringe like it always does though. I can't place my finger on why I hate the move so much, but I'm sure I'll realize the reason at some point. Kip Sabian Vs. Orange Cassidy was pretty entertaining. I read in other threads that most people seemed to hate Sabian for some reason, but I find him very solid and one of the more reliable wrestlers on the show. The only problem I see is that he is booked like a jobber but still expected to be a serious contender, so of course I never thought he had a chance to win this match. He gets some brief domination on big name opponents but never quite long enough to seem legit and they are all rather short matches, so I just see him as a joke. I enjoyed how he wasn't taking the pocket nonsense and this played into both their characters and the match well. Orange still manages to keep his shtick fresh.
Las Vegas bullshit - The first segment was okay. The second was absolutely awful and not funny. The musical number was a bit out of place and I liked it, but this is actually getting too much. Why is this shit on the show? There could have been some young guys getting feuds and screentime going in its place. Pac Vs. Blade - It worked well for what it was. I am excited to see Pac is back and Blade is good so it was a nice match. Blade actually had more apparent winning chances than I expected, which I enjoyed. It was great to see Penta come out at the end and the Death Triangle reuinited. Thunder Rosa Vs. Serena Dweeb stole the show easily. Rosa is fucking amazing, way better than the entire roster (including Shida) and is the only thing even remotely making me want to watch a Women's match in AEW. Dweeb impressed me as well in this match and seems to be a solid technical wrestler. I couldn't really find fault with her wrestling, but her character is so bland and she has such a weird image that I couldn't care less about her. Like 🤯 said, she looks like every wife that cheats on her husband with the yoga instructor or something. I don't even know what that means but it somehow seems to fit. The Britt Baker interference was executed flawlessly and was a perfect buildup to their match and a great excuse for Rosa to lose while not looking weak. Loved it. Loved so many of the moves. Wish all the matches on the show had been this good.
Fuck Cody. What is the point of tearing his shirt off three rips at a time, slowly? Either take it off normally or rip it all off like a badass. Jesus.
The match was entertaining as Hell. I love all of these guys (except Cody). I know people are criticizing Cage recently, but I just don't get it. He looks dominating as fuck, he is clearly skilled technically, he has some unique moves, he dominates matches. He is the total package. He's obviously not Brock Lesnar, but I think he is coming pretty damn close. I don't know why everyone else has a different image.
The Hobbs heel turn was absolutely perfect. Nothing else could have possibly made me care a single iota about Hobbs at this point. It was like a switch was flicked and suddenly I liked him and wanted to get behind him in a flash. Two big guys in Team Taz seemed strange so I didn't think it would happen, especially after the 10,562 times he saved Cody/Darby with a steel chair, but I am very interested to see where they go with it. More Starks please. More Cage. More Team Taz.
Overall, I felt like all of the matches were very entertaining, a bit more so than usual, and that made this a solid episode compared to the average. But I felt it was a bit lacking like I wish the matches were just a little bit better or things made a little more sense. Part of that is probably just it being hard to compete with NJPW which I am also watching, but I was still more than glad to watch it.

Oh man I totally glossed over the Las Vegas stuff. It was so stupid. I know they're not all gonna be winners but you have to know when to quit. They dedicated so much air time to it and it was garbage.

That's the extent of the current complaints. Basically they brought in Miro who had been held down for years in the WWE and the first thing they do is pair him up with this lower card geek who is portrayed as a major goofball. He was basically Aiden English, without English's showmanship so it was a worse redux. Everything that's followed since has done little to change that perception and the whole Best Friends/Miro feud is the antithesis of what fans wanted for Miro.
It's been a minute, but I remember his matches with Janela were pretty bad as well. Whether that was on him or Janela though, it's yet to be determined. Janela has been the biggest disappointment of AEW considering he had some hype about him coming off GCW.

I think that’s just another booking problem. Janela put on amazing matches with both Moxley and Omega then was booked into oblivion. Don’t get me wrong...he does appear to suck now in all the tag matches he is in. I can’t explain that as it’s contrary to those great performances. That could just be down to it being harder to stand out in general in tag matches and his character / moveset being a bit bland? Not sure. I enjoyed his matches with Sabian but they were a bit disappointing as both guys seem to have a lot more potential than what they showed in them.

Janela's biggest strength is his willingness to take crazy bumps. So in that Dark match against Kenny, Omega was able to hit all his crazy offence and Janela was willing to take some crazy spots to make Kenny look good. It didn't really do anything to make Janela look strong. It makes it difficult to book since there's not a lot you can do with a character who takes a good beating. Either you make them into Mikey Whipwreck or Mick Foley, neither of which Janela could pull off.

Unless his strength is hitting crazy spots. He’s no wrestling Beethoven, but I’ll take it if it’s entertaining.
Certainly better than random tag team antics. I’d take a poor man’s Foley over this nonsense.
