Thanksgiving Thursday Houston (3-7) at Detroit (4-6) Washington (3-7) at Dallas (3-7) Baltimore (6-4) at Pittsburgh (10-0) Sunday Early
Arizona (6-4) at New England (4-6) Carolina (4-7) at Minnesota (4-6) Cleveland (7-3) at Jacksonville (1-9) Los Angeles Chargers (3-7) at Buffalo (7-3) Las Vegas (6-4) at Atlanta (3-7) Miami (6-4) at New York Jets (0-10) New York Giants (3-7) at Cincinnati (2-7-1) Tennessee (6-3) at Indianapolis (6-3)
Sunday Late New Orleans (8-2) at Denver (4-6) San Francisco (4-6) at Los Angeles Rams (7-3) Kansas City (9-1) at Tampa Bay (7-4) Sunday Night
Chicago (5-5) at Green Bay (7-3) Monday Night
Seattle (7-3) at Philadelphia (3-6-1)
🏈🏈🏈
On Thursday all of America can celebrate one of the great comebacks in NFL history when Alex Smith, recoveree from a genuine life threatening illness, will play quarterback for the Washington Football Team in the most watched NFL game of the regular season against the Dallas Cowboys for the lead in the NFC East. The New York Giants can then take the lead with a victory on Sunday, while the Eagles can retake it on Monday night. That's 2020 in the worst division in football.
Unfortunately the night game on Thanksgiving is in danger of being postponed with the Ravens recording nine positive COVID tests this week. It seems they considered contracting the virus less dangerous than facing the Steelers fearsome defence.
Early on Sunday the pick of the action is the rematch between the Colts and Titans. Indianapolis upset Tennessee two weeks ago and then backed it up with a stirring comeback victory over the Packers, while the Titans rebounded by again proving their physical edge over Baltimore. Whoever can triumph here will take a huge step towards winning the AFC South.
In the late window we have a matchup between two quarterbacks who's final possession in primetime in Week 11 couldn't have been more opposite. Tom Brady flamed out in his attempt to lead a game winning drive against the Rams, while Patrick Mahomes once again proved his inevitability as he surgically dissected the Raiders. Will Brady be able to get the deep pass working this week, and if not will he sulk off the field without shaking hands again?!
On Sunday night we get the traditional NFC North rivalry between the Bears and Packers. Green Bay will be looking redeem themselves after losing a game they had no business dropping, while it seems the Chicago might be going back to the future with Mitch Trubisky potentially returning as starter. I'm not quite sure what we did wrong to get the Bears offence again in primetime but what can you do?!

Of all the games the Steelers could lose, I really hope it's not this one, streak being broken by any of the division rivals would just be the worst...the Bills I could accept.
Another thing, if the Steelers win, Ravens will be all but locked out of the division race, and hurt in the wildcard race. They are my most hated rival, I'm hoping they get forced out completely by the end.

Gonna miss this weeks game because the cable company sucks and isn’t coming until Wednesday next week, but go Chiefs!
Oh I guess I can watch it on my phone via Yahoo. That is a crummy way, but eh it’ll be fine.

I could see the Packers again coming out dumb against the Bears , actually more scared of Trubisky returning since I think his ability to run is bad for this defense and helps their running game.
Hoping for a big game from MVS , pathetic small group of Packer fans sending him death threats after the Colts game. I'm hard on the guy , he's boom or bust but he actually had a really good game in Indy. Drew a 50 yard PI call that set up a touchdown , was the lead blocker on Adams touchdown , caught that sick pass from Rodgers that allowed us to even tie the game. One of his better games as a Packer until the fumble at the end.
Anyways the Bears yeah , totally could be a game the Packers give up because we are supposed to crush them given the Bears trajectory.

I'm not back at work until Friday so I don't have the time to sit here and write 500 words yet! I'll have it in (this thread) on Friday! QB changes coming into this week:-Cincinnati Bengals will start Brandon Allen over Ryan Finley. Upgrade? Eh, I don't even fucking know to be honest. I just feel it's all a downgrade with no Burrow. - Jacksonville Jaguars will start Mike Glennon over Jake Luton this week as the Luton experiment must be marked as a FAIL for Jacksonville and Gardner Minshew is still not ready to return. I still stand by my sentiment that the Jaguars will not win another game this season and them going Glennon shows that they don't give a fuck either. What separates the Jaguars and the Jets is talent. James Robinson has been a beast. DJ Chark is still there. The Jets have Frank Gore and Jamison Crowder. So that's the difference between two teams with horrible Head Coaches.

It's a real shame the Egg Bowl isn't on Thanksgiving this year - that would have been perfect. New Mexico/Utah State doesn't have quite the same hook to it.
Pittsburgh have been really boned by postponements, they lost their bye due to the Titans outbreak and now they miss out on a mini-bye because of this.

My quick predictions for today’s games: Houston Texans defeat Detroit Lions 38-27 - I think Thanksgiving starts with a shoot out game and I expect some fun. Will Fuller is due for his yearly berserk game and I think it’s in this one. 8 receptions, 180 yards and 2 TDS. In the end, Houston’s defense makes the plays in the end and turn a one score game to a two score game with a Pick 6. It might be time for Matt Patricia to go even though injuries haven’t helped them this season. No Swift, so I expect a vintage performance from Kerryon Johnson and/or Adrian Peterson. I don’t know what’s going on with Kenny Golloday this season but this injury is very suspect. I think he’s holding out for that big contract. Smart man. Washington Football Team defeat Dallas Cowboys 23-17 in OT - After a shoot out, I see a game here where the defenses step up. I think this game makes up for the Primetime postponement by going to OT and giving us extra time. I think the game ends with Alex Smith hitting Scary Terry for a 50 yard TD to end the game where the Dallas defense finally breaks. It helps me more money wise for Dallas to win this game, but if you’re not cheering for Alex Smith to make it to the playoffs then you have no soul. I know mikec has to find a place in his heart to cheer for Alex Smith to lead this team to winning this awful division just to complete his amazing comeback. Last time Ron Rivera faced Dallas in Thanksgiving, Tony Romo broke his back and Carolina dominated. I’m going with him beating Dallas again. Go Alex Smith!

Every bit of common sense and analytic says Lions/Texans should be a shootout and a ton of points. So naturally it’ll be 20-10.

Does Detroit have a pass rush? I don't see Watson being stopped unless they can get pressure.

27th in sack percentage. Between that and the Texans secondary, a low scoring game would be crazy.

Lions dude was clearly offsides on that play.
And already annoyed the Texans aren’t attacking down the field. Their receivers should crush that Lions secondary.

It's remarkable that Watson has done what he's been able to do with absolutely no run game. Duke Johnson looks like he doesn't enjoy football.
