Hopefully they remember how to catch moving forward, haven't got much of a lead on the Browns for division or KC for 1 seed to be missing these.

I'm with you on Jackson's level, I don't think he touches Mahomes or Rodgers, but the Ravens have only scored sub-20 points once the whole season. He doesn't suck.

And the defense with a monster break down, suddenly those drops matter.

Steelers need some leadership here.

He’s not really good either , especially against good teams. Last Pitt game he turned the ball over 4 times , could have been 5 since he actually fumbled three times and only lost two. I don’t think he changes the outcome much.

He’s like 0-6 in the biggest games of his career and has never overcame a double digit deficit. I’m not even going to give him the benefit of the doubt of being good anymore.

I like this Pittsburgh team down the stretch. Not an explosive offense but a lot of experience in key positions, and at head coach. I just trust them to win tight games which is what playoff football is about. I don't think anyone favours them over the Chiefs but with home advantage, who knows.

I hope we get this defense against the Chiefs offense. Those kind of things always seems to get screwed up though ... just make it the AFC title game and cancel the rest of the playoffs.

I could it being them. They came back and played Pitt hard earlier. And I could see Henry going ham on the Chiefs.

Pittsburgh is going to stumble their way to an undefeated season and it'll be contested until the end of time because of COVID.

If they just get their hands back in check, they were really cutting 'em up, just kept dropping the important ones. Johnson and Ebron had been doing so well, if they just consistently catch some of the tough ones and most of the easy ones, can go score for score with anybody. KC D's been letting some high scores.

And it sounds like Dupree may have torn his ACL, got dammit.

Meh I don't know , Mahomes like any quarterback can be had by pressure and Pittsburgh can pressure with the best of them even though the Dupree injury could put a damper on that. The Chargers game and the Oakland game they lost Mahomes was under constant pressure and while he still did miraculous Mahomes things - you could tell it wasn't the same and the offense struggled for long stretches.

And Pitt's offense is hot or cold , their running game is shite which hurts their cause but they got three great weapons (when they are catching the ball) and are at least capable of putting up points. 

Not saying Pitt should be favored or anything , but to say they don't stand a chance if a bit of an overstretch. It's not like KC is a complete juggernaut , they can be had. Especially with their protection issues and shaky defense. 

Yeah at least Pittsburgh isn't talent deficient on the offense, particularly in the passing game. Roethlisberger, Smith-Schuster, Claypool, Johnson. They're getting MacDonald back shortly. I actually think the defense is so good that Tomlin is leaning into this ball-control offense knowing he doesn't have to chase points. Against KC, a situation where they would obviously need to move the ball and score points, I think they could do it.

We all realize how EXCELLENT Patrick Mahomes is against the blitz right?

Like obviously Mahomes is not going to throw for 350+ yards and 3+ TDS against Pitt (well maybe 3) but Mahomes would find a way to beat them. He always does.

He could beat them , but it’s not a forgone conclusion either. Pass rush is a great equalizer and Watt is potential DPOY right now. And the Chiefs line is suspect at best.

It would be a fun game. Mahomes would certainly do some amazing things - I just hope we get to watch it.

It really would come down to how does Pittsburgh make pressure happen. If they can get there with four and play the kind of zone defense they did back the last few times we’ve played them then they would have what they needed to beat the Chiefs.

They do have the highest blitz percentage in the NFL but they also have arguably the best edge rusher in the NFL who can get home without a blitz better than anyone.
