Band Aid was on my list as well. Plus with the way 2020 has gone it has a little extra meaning this year.

Oh Come All Ye Faithful is a beautiful classic carol, but Do They Know It's Christmas was on my list and as Shootist said, definitely a little more meaningful this year and always at this time of year.
IM Fun fact#2: We have the original single of this on 12" vinyl.

We had it on cassette, that extended version was great too with Bowie and Paul McCartney "phoning it in."

We no longer have a record player and gave my daughter what she wanted of our vinyl with exception to this and the 2 records that were always playing on Christmas Day when I was a kid; The Roger Whitaker Christmas Album and Evie 'Come on Ring Those Bells'.

Do They Know It's Christmas is the Forrest Gump of this tournament. Overly-sentimentalised and patronising garbage that's going to do really well. O Come All Ye Faithful is essential.

I like O Come All Ye Faithful, but it's really not Christmas to me until I hear Band Aid. This was huge when it first came out - yes I'm old enough to remember that. I remember exactly when it was premiered on TV, they had a special showing of the video just before the 7 o'clock news I think. Yes it's over sentimental, but it's stood the test of time for me.

I'll represent the heavy metal.
I don't really listen to Twisted Sister but they have some good tunes. No idea they covered a Christmas carol, but it's pretty funny. Don't think I could ever vote against a Christmas song with a guitar solo to be honest.

O Come All Ye Faithful has my vote, though unlike Emp I'd have preferred a more traditional version in this tourney.
