Thursday Night Los Angeles Chargers (4-9) at Las Vegas (7-6) Saturday Afternoon
Buffalo (10-3) at Denver (5-8)
Saturday Night Carolina (4-9) at Green Bay (10-3)
Sunday Early Chicago (6-7) at Minnesota (6-7) Detroit (5-8) at Tennessee (9-4) Houston (4-9) at Indianapolis (9-4) Jacksonville (1-12) at Baltimore (8-5) New England (6-7) at Miami (8-5) San Francisco (5-8) at Dallas (4-9) Seattle (9-4) at Washington (6-7) Tampa Bay (8-5) at Atlanta (4-9)
Sunday Late New York Jets (0-13) at Los Angeles Rams (9-4) Philadelphia (4-8-1) at Arizona (7-6) Kansas City (12-1) at New Orleans (10-3)
Sunday Night Cleveland (9-4) at New York Giants (5-8) Monday Night
Pittsburgh (11-2) at Cincinnati (2-10-1)
🏈🏈🏈
Got to be honest, this is not the most exhilarating slate of games. The Thursday game might have been interesting had the Raiders not gone to the golf course early for the second straight season, and the two Saturday games look likely to be pretty one sided affairs.
Early on Sunday the most intriguing games look like the fork battle between the Bears and Vikings, the injury depleted Dolphins trying to cling to their playoff spot against the Patriots, and Washington vs Seattle in what could possibly be a preview of a first-round playoff matchup.
Everyone will be watching the Chiefs and Saints in the late window but after New Orleans limp loss to the Eagles last week it's hard to have any confidence in their ability to run the champs close.
Flexing the Browns and Giants to Sunday night looked like an exciting one when it happened, but the Giants laying a complete egg against the Cardinals largely put paid to that. New York's offence was truly inept with an atrocious performance from the offensive line and a clearly hampered Daniel Jones, while the Browns have put up back to back 40-burgers with Baker Mayfield playing career best football.
The schedule couldn't have been kinder to the Steelers who get an easy get right game to end the week against the hapless Bengals. Cincinnati have been begging for the season to end since Burrow's injury. In a week that could be littered with a few routs, I think this could be the biggest of them all.

I’m going to disagree with you @admin. I think the Rams are going to slaughter the Jets and shut them out. That Rams D is filled with attitude and they want to give their opponents a donut. I can see Cincinnati at least TRYING to keep up with Pitt. The Jets have no chance. I’ll go into all the games tomorrow, but I am SUPER EXCITED for Kansas City and New Orleans. I CAN’T WAIT! Seriously happy that the AFC West matched up with the NFC South this season just because we get to see Mahomes vs Brady and Mahomes vs Brees this season. I also can’t wait to see Mahomes vs ATL Defense. That’ll be a show.

You might turn out to be right but I just don't see the Rams as a blowout type of team. McVay tends to rely on the running game to see out a game when he's in front rather than really turn the blowtorch on, last week's game with the Pats was super one-sided yet they still only scored 24. Plus the Jets seem to manage a semi-respectable effort on offence every second week, they've scored 28, 3, 28, and 3 points in the last month.
I think Pittsburgh will come out angry with a point to prove on national TV now that everyone's turned on them. I've been as critical as anyone, but while a lot of their problems have been self inflicted you have to bare in mind they've played three really good defences in a row. Also worth mentioning they dropped 36 on the Bengals last month even before Cincinnati really went in the tank.
It will be interesting to see if Brees plays this week. The Saints seem to be playing it as though he won't but that might just be a distraction. You'd think they'd need to win out to have any chance of reclaiming the #1 seed, and the Packers do have one plausible loss on the schedule against the Titans.

How good is Goff? If he's anything worth a damn, he torches the Jets secondary with ease. Jets are a team you should be throwing on or running on the outside with, not in the middle where their strength is.
Either way, Jets OLine is getting ravaged vs the Rams Dline and Darnold will get picked a couple of times. Maybe Jalen Ramsay will get into fisticuffs with Crowder or someone when he is getting his blatant mugging that the officials let him get away with every now and then.

Rams are going to annihilate the Jets. I don’t see how the Jets get more than 10 and could easily see the Rams getting to 30.

I look forward to wasting time at work writing this out every week. I might as well do this shit on the clock and get PAID for it! By the way, @admin, I think it's time I get that SPORTS MOD status; no? I'm going to add some betting nuggets and fantasy talk to this write up today, too. THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL:Los Angeles Chargers vs Las Vegas Raiders- As of this writing, the Chargers are coming into this battle banged up. Austin Ekeler, Hunter Henry, Keenan Allen and Mike Williams are all banged up in one way or another. The bigger news is that the Raiders are going to be without Henry Ruggs due to COVID. Ruggs is an interesting conversation and I think I'm going to make a on the clock thread about WRs later. So let's get to the game. I expect all those banged up Chargers to play this game no matter how banged up they are. The Chargers are filled with so many injury prone players that it's actually surprising that Keenan Allen has not missed a game this season. He always tends to get hurt and he got hurt for me 2 years ago THIS WEEK during my fantasy football semi finals game and cost me a trip to the Finals. ANYWAYS; the Chargers survived a battle between two teams who know how to lose. Fortunately for them, the Falcons have become experts at the trade of losing close games. So the Chargers are coming into this game with higher spirits and a better defense then their opponents. The Raiders are falling apart when it matters most and a loss here would knock them out of playoff contention in my eyes. I don't think Josh Jacobs is healthy enough to help this offense and Waller can't do everything. The Chargers have a litany of RBs that are going to shred this Raiders Run D like Jonathan Taylor just did. The Raiders are one Hail Mary away from being 6-7 at a losing record so they're clearly not that good. 8-8 is probably on the docket for this team and I think they're about to fall to .500. I'm going to go with Justin Herbert having a bounce back game, the running game working and the Raiders just continuing to fall apart. I'm going to take the UNDER here and take the Chargers to win. The Raiders will struggle offensively and it's not going to be good for the future of Derek Carr in Las Vegas. My betting nugget is a Justin Herbert rushing TD. I think the score will be close'ish because it's a rivalry game, but right now I just like the Chargers better. Raiders are down 11 and score a TD with just over 2 minutes left, but fail on the 2 point conversion that keeps the game total UNDER. The Raiders fail to stop the Chargers from getting a 1st down TWICE and the Chargers run the clock out to win. Chargers win 28-23. SATURDAY AFTERNOON FOOTBALL:Buffalo Bills vs Denver Broncos- Is playing in Denver close enough to Wyoming to be considered a home coming for Josh Allen? Maybe, maybe not. One thing is for sure. Josh Allen has come a long way from being unable to get a Division 1 scholarship from Fresno State and working his ass off to get to Wyoming. The Denver Broncos also drafted Bradley Chubb ahead of Josh Allen in that famous AFC East draft that had the impecable Sam Darnold and immovable Josh Rosen in it too. Oh yeah and Baker Mayfield. Many said Josh Allen would be a great fit in Denver and even though Chubb is great (injury prone, too) Josh Allen could've flipped that franchise around. Anyways, RT is happy he's a Buffalo Bill and the Denver Broncos are going to send out their 'future' Drew Lock. PS- Future can mean up to next month, by the way. Anyways, I think Saturday is going to be a bore fest of football where the dominant teams dominate and win. The Broncos run game is beat up with MG and Lindsay both battling injuries. Royce Freeman is an afterthought and his time in the NFL may be over soon. The Broncos have an exciting group of receivers, but nobody good enough right now to make a serious impact. Give me a break on the Tim Patrick love, too. Someone's got to eat there and Jeudy is going through rookie woes so far. The Bills have Stefon Diggs who is a monster and I already jacked him off with compliments in the previous thread. The Bills D continues to look like the defense we expected them to be coming into this season and Josh Allen has himself a field day against the Denver D that made Patrick Mahomes life difficult. Josh Allen is ready to party and the Bills clinch the AFC East this weekend. Josh Allen will throw for 3 TDs and run 1 in. Bills win 38-10.SATURDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL:Carolina Panthers vs Green Bay Packers- Trap game? Nah. The Green Bay Packers are the #1 seed in the NFC, clinched the NFL North and have Aaron Rodgers. They are not going to come into this game and take their eyes off of the prize. AMIRIE UT? I think the Packers end the season 2-1 in these final 3 games, but this is not the week that they get that loss. The Packers Run D is going to be a problem next week and in the playoffs, but there is no reason they should allow a Carolina Panthers team WITHOUT Christian McCaffrey to run wild on them. Mike Davis is having a great season (RB7 in fantasy football) but if the Packers can't stop him then they are in serious trouble come playoff time. Aaron Rodgers is right there with Patrick Mahomes in winning the MVP this season, but doesn't get the talk he deserves. The Panthers are really not that good of a team. They have a bright future, but they're just not ready now. Aaron will do what he has to do and hopefully they get Aaron Jones more involved and take advantage of a weak run D in Carolina. This might not be a huge blowout like the previous game, but I still think Green Bay wins by two scores. Aaron Jones shows up scoring 2 rushing TDs in this one and Aaron Rodgers tosses 2. Davante Adams brings his TD streak to 9 STRAIGHT GAMES and the Packers hold on to that #1 seed with their eyes (like everyone elses) glued to that upcoming Chiefs/Saints game where they could possibly take a commanding 2 game lead over New Orleans for the BYE week. Packers win 31-17.SUNDAY GAMES:Chicago Bears vs Detroit Lions- Two teams that blew their chances to be holding that 7th seed right now. This is a do or die game for both teams. A win keeps them in the playoff race and a loss basically eliminates them. Chicago blew their lead two weeks ago to Detroit on terrible management from Mitch and Nagy. They had the perfect bounce back game against Houston and absolutely demolished the Texans. Offensively and defensively. The perfect Chicago game. Minnesota had a chance to beat Tampa Bay last week, but Dan Bailey kicked those chances and the playoff spot goodbye. CM Punk'd would be proud of that pun. So in a game where a win keeps one of these two teams alive, I'll look back on their previous game. A game the Vikings won 19-13. A game where the Bears were WITHOUT David Montgomery, started Nick Foles and even had Tyler Bray play QB. That was also in the middle of that massive losing streak by the Bears. With all those things working against Chicago in that game, the Vikings were ONLY able to win by 6 points. Dalvin Cook was still able to have a pretty good day against the TB Run D so I'm not going to count him completely out in this game. He ran for 96 yards in their last match up and put up 112 total yards. Justin Jefferson had a massive game last time they played and Adam Thielen got into the end zone two times. The difference there was Nick Foles made the Bears offense lethargic. Mitch Trubisky will be able to keep up with the Vikings offense and David Montgomery is looking to continue a hot end to the season which will make people in the Bears organization still believe they have a future star at the position. The Bears are my pick to win this game and I think Mitch lights them up for 3 TDs. The Bears D plays tough again and the Vikings fall out of playoff contention while the Bears attempt to make one last swing at sneaking into that final spot. Don't let the final score trick you. This game is not that close, but garbage time helps Minnesota put up an extra TD and a 2 point conversion. Dan Bailey goes 0/1 from FG range and the Vikings refuse to let him try another one and his time in Minnesota nears an end. Bears win 34-22. Detroit Lions vs Tennessee Titans- Mr. Reliable Matthew Stafford is most likely not going to play this game. Mr. Unreliable Kenny Golloday is also probably not going to play. Enter Chase Daniel and WR1 Marvin Jones! Yay; NOT. This is a recipe for disaster for Detroit. Tennessee D is going to look competent in this game and this is another perfect game for Derrick Henry to go ape shit and put up 200+ rushing yards. His race for 2000 rushing yards continues with back to back 200 yard rushing days and it starts to look very possible. The Titans keep a hold of that division lead in dominating fashion. Titans win 38-14.
Houston Texans vs Indianapolis Colts
- The Houston Texans got dismantled last week without David Johnson and Brandin Cooks. There was nothing Deshaun Watson could do. He gets another tough defense this week, even though he kept it close with them last time. However, this game is going to be a road game for the Texans and I don't think getting David Johnson and Brandin Cooks back is going to help them much. TY Hilton has been looking like his prime self the last two weeks, but this one is going to be a Jonathan Taylor show in my opinion. The Colts run the ball down the throats of the Texans and Watson fails to have answers with his lack of weapons. Indianapolis stays tied with Tennessee for the division lead and the final 2 games will decide who walks out of the AFC South the Champion. Go gettem jTjohncenaGOAT! Colts win 30-17.Jacksonville Jaguars vs Baltimore Ravens- MINSHEWMANIA IS BACK~! But wait~! WHO'S DIS COMIN OUT DA LOCKER ROOM WITH A LIMP~?! IT'S LAMAHHHHHH BIG TRUSSSSS JACKSON! CHAIR SHOT~! BAH GAWD, I TURNED THIS UNEXCITING GAME INTO A RED COLORED, LOOK AT ME~!, SLOBBERKNOCKER~! MARK ANDREWS FOR THE COVER~! 1! 2! 3! IT'S ALL OVAH~! BALTIMORE WINS~!Ravens win 45-14.New England Patriots vs Miami Dolphins- Did I say the Ravens were going to take the final playoff spot from Miami? I did. Here's why. Bill Bellicheck! Tua might be coming into this game WITHOUT Devante Parker, Jakeem Grant and Mike Gesecki. That's just his WR core. They will also be without Miles Gaskin and most likely without Salvon Ahmed as well. What does that mean? IT'S THE LYNN BOWDEN SHOW! I love this dude, by the way. Check him out. Fantasy championship winner. Anyways; Bill owned Herbert. Bill will own Tua and his lack of weapons. The Dolphins D will try to keep this game close, but in the end, Cam rips off his shirt and goes Superman for the victory. I'm not expecting Damien Harris to play, so I expect a Sony/White showcase at RB. A low scoring affair that Bill outcoaches and Cam outduels in crunch time for a victory. The Dolphins fall outside of the Top 7 and the Ravens leap in. The Bills clinch the AFC East. Patriots win 20-17.Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Atlanta Falcons
- A beautiful 4 game stretch of games for the Buccaneers offense to shine started last week after their BYE against Minnesota's young D. They now get the luxury of facing the Falcons in two of their final three games with a lousy Detroit team sandwiched in the middle. This game does get me a little uncomfortable, though as I can see Atlanta coming out hard just to beat Tom Brady. I'm very iffy on this game, but I'm going to ride with Tom Brady handling his business here and picking up the victory. Spoiler alert for later; the Buccaneers will now be 1 game back of the Saints for the division with 2 to go. I'm not saying they'll win the division, but they do get it tighter. The Buccaneers shut whatever running offense the Falcons think they have. Matt Ryan does his best to look like Prime-Ryan instead of this washed up guy he's been, but there's only so much Ridley can do to carry this offense. The Buccaneers might be without Ronald Jones, but who cares? This is the perfect defense for Tom Brady to attack with his arm. I'm calling for this to be the first game Antonio Brown scores a TD and I am going to say; AB SCORES TWICE! The Falcons try to keep up, but their defense just makes it impossible. The Buccaneers win this one, but it's closer then they'd like it. Buccaneers win 35-27.San Francisco 49ers vs Dallas Cowboys- Another game that has a win or go home feel to it. Both teams have a bit of a climb to get them into the playoffs, but the path is still there. However, whoever comes out of this game with a loss will basically be done. That's saying something considering the NFC East is the weakest division, but as of right now these Cowboys are the weakest of the weak. The San Francisco 49ers have gotten blasted all season with injuries and last week lost Deebo Samuel for (most likely) the season with an injury. Raheem Mostert went for an MRI so his status is in question as of this writing. The Cowboys had their injury that rocked their season when they lost Dak. Andy Dalton isn't really to blame for their offense. I'd put the blame more on Zeke who is clearly hampered by something because he is having his worst season of his career right now. Tony Pollard has looked great, on the other hand. I selfishly want the 49ers to win this game so George Kittle has a reason to come back, but I can't overlook the lack of weapons they have. Brandon Aiyuk is not going to be able to beat the Cowboys by himself and Jeff Wilson might have to captain the RB room for this match up, In the end, I'm going with the offense I believe is better and I'm going to give the Cowboys season some more hope with a victory here. They stay in the NFC East hunt and unfortunately for pduh, this injury ravaged season for the 49ers was just too much for them to overcome. Cowboys win 27-17.Seattle Seahawks vs Washington Redskins- There is optimism that Alex Smith can play in this game and that gives me reason to cheer. Seattle has struggled against the NFC East beating both Dallas and Philadelphia by one score and then losing to the Giants. Washington D has the tools that can disrupt the offense of the Seahawks better than the Giants. However, with the Rams coming up next for Seattle, I just can't see them walking out of the NFC East 2-2. I don't know if Alex Smith is going to play and if he doesn't, this game will not be close. If Alex Smith does play, it might be close because that's how Seattle has handled the NFC East. I'll give the benefit of the doubt to Washingtons D and Ron Rivera and have this game be close. In the end, Seattle comes out with a victory ahead of their HUGE showdown against the Rams next week that WILL decide the winner of the NFC West. All of a sudden, Washington's grip on the NFC East gets looser. It also GUARANTEES that the winner of the NFC East will NOT have a winning record. At best .500. Seahawks win 24-19.New York Jets vs Los Angeles Rams- While we are on the topic of the NFC West; the Rams WILL win this one. All this mythical talk about the Jets offense looking alright lately is just that. A myth. Fake news. They are about to run into the best defense (right now) in the NFL who have gotten hot at the right time. Aaron Donald is going to have a 3 sack game here. Jalen Ramsey is going to have a Pick 6 that'll drive Blindy up a wall with conspiracy theories. The Jets will fail to score a single point. Jared Goff will throw for 1 TD to Cooper Kupp in this game and the runningbacks will do the rest. All 3 RBs for the Rams score a TD in Akers, Henderson and Brown. Rams dominate offensively and defensively. The Jets find a new rockbottom to hit every single week. This time it's putting up zero points. Rams win 41-0.GAME OF THE WEEK!:Kansas City Chiefs vs New Orleans Saints- Last time I was this excited for a Chiefs game was against the Buccaneers and that ended up being all Patrick Mahomes. TB12 was embarrassed. Unfortunately, Mahomes will not get to face a legend in this game as Drew Brees is unlikely to play in this one. He might get that opportunity in the Super Bowl, but we'll see. The NFC is the Hunger Games like I've said. I think this game is going to be a shootout that resembles the one we saw last season with the 49ers and Saints during the regular season. Taysom Hill is going to need to do more then just run to keep up with Patrick Mahomes, but this game just reeks of LET THE STARS SHINE kind of game. I'm calling for a shoot out, where in the end, Patrick Mahomes is just too unbelievable to outduel. Mahomes throws for 477 yards AND 4 TDs in this game AND runs 1 in because he's a BAAAAAAAD MAN! That's a 5 TD day for the MVP! MOVE OVER AARON RODGERS! Travis Kelce catches 1 TD, Mecole Hardman catches 1 TD on a BOMB and check this.... Sammy Watkins catches 2! Yup. The X Factor difference maker. Tyreek Hill does not get much shine in this game as he's still a bit hobbled and will be their main concern on defense. Hill tries to keep up with a standard 2 passing TDs (welcome back to paydirt Michael Thomas) and 1 rushing TD. Alvin Kamara goes for nearly 200 total yards in this game and scores 1 rushing and is the other receiptant of passing TD. Latavius Murray also runs one in, too. The game is decided on a GW drive by Mahomes in which Harrison Butker kicks his 2nd FG of the game as time expires from 48 yards out to send the Chiefs to victory! A thriller that lives up to the hype! This game is going to be a fantasy football dream game in time for the Semi Finals. mikec K-C-CHIEFS 4 LYFE~! Chiefs win 41-38!Philadelphia Eagles vs Arizona Cardinals- BAH GAWD~! BAH GAWD~! THIS IS GOING TO BE AN OKLAHOMA SOONER SLOBBERKNOCKER~! I AM GOOD OL JR! After saving the Eagles season last week, Jalen Hurts is now the man that Philadelphia needs! Running for 100 yards was spectacular, but giving that once lethargic offense some life?! Well, that's how it's done. Maybe we should nickname Jalen Hurts 'RED BULL' because he gave the Eagles WINGS! A stunning upset for the Eagles last week sets them up for an opportunity to get back into this NFC East title picture. They know a win here could put them a half game back of Washington with two to go (IF my predictions are accurate) and this game is a MUST WIN for any realistic shot for the Eagles to win the division. A division that WILL be decided Week 17 when Philly and Washington face off. Why so confident? Because even though the Cardinals looked great against the Giants last week, I think it was moreso the Giants looked awful. Hassan Reddick had a franchise record 5 sacks in the game and forced 3 fumbles. I don't know if he's going to be able to get to Jalen as easy. Kyler Murray might not be 100%, but he's back to running like a little Red Robin again. Nuk hasn't really popped off the screen since that Hail Mary catch and their offense has kind of been.... BORING lately. A once explosive offense has gotten boring. Their run game is horrid to watch and EDMONDS SZN has been held hostage by poor game planning and Kenyan Drake. Philadelphia is much better against the run, so that run game is not going to help. This will literally be a SHOWDOWN between Jalen Hurts and Kyler Murray and that's the SOONER WAY! The Cardinals could grab a really tight grip of that 7th seed with a victory here, but in the end, I'm just going to ride with Jalen Hurts. I've seen Tua start his career off with 3 straight wins. Even Taysom Hill did the same. Jalen HURTS the Cardinals chances of making the playoffs as they now fall to a 7-7 tie with.... DA BEARZ.... for that final playoff spot. A fun game to watch, which is a shame it'll share the same air time as KC/NO, but these late afternoon games are where they're at this Sunday. I'm taking Philly to continue their streak as Hurts runs for 100+ yards AGAIN including a rushing TD and 2 passing TDs. Murray runs 1 in and throws for 2, as well. But in the end, the running game for Philly will be the difference maker and the Philly D makes a stop when it matters most in the end. A fun show down ends with Jalen giving the Eagles their FIRST 30+ point game of the season and keeping their season alive. Eagles win 34-27.SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL:Cleveland Browns vs New York Giants- THIS IS THE O! B! J! REVENGE GAME! Wait, no. We'll go with the revenge game @admin picked. Daniel Jones regressed back to old habits in his return and might even have been rushed back on the field for that game. Not good to see and an awful performance for a team who just came off of a HUGE UPSET of the Seahawks. Maybe Colt McCoy would've been the better play? I don't know. On the other side, someone needs to call the Cleveland PD because I think someone kidnapped Baker Mayfield and is impersonating him. Or maybe he's done with his sophmore slump, has a better HC and is ready to be a franchise QB! Either way, I'm cool with it. That MNF game was the GAME OF THE YEAR up to this point with only Arizona/Seattle and Arizona/Buffalo being close contenders. The Browns lost a heartbreaker as their defense broke when they needed them most. I'm worried that the Browns come into this game sort of deflated after losing a heartbreaker, so I'm not going to predict an explosive offensive performance from them. This game will be won by their defense and lack of offense from the Giants. I would LOVE to see the Giants win this game and take back the NFC East crown, but realistically they're probably going to lose out their final 3 games. Sorry thereallt but I'm a realist and I don't see them beating either AFC North team or even the Cowboys to end the season when neither team has anything left to play for because.... Tony Pollard will be the best player on the field Week 17. I'm going to say the Browns win this one thanks to their defense, but the Giants D do their best to keep their team in it. In the end, they just can't move the ball at al and are lucky to score that one TD before the half. The 2nd half will be complete dominance by the Browns D and terrible offense by Big Blue. Maybe this is the type of game we'll all need to end the night after the afternoon fireworks. Browns win 27-7MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL:Pittsburgh Steelers vs Cincinnati Bengals- I'm honestly exhausted from typing all this out (on the clock~!) so I'll keep this nice and short. The Steelers are in the perfect bounce back game. They slaughtered the Bengals WITH Joe Burrow and should do it again. This would have been a great Primetime game to watch Joe Burrow show the world the future of the NFL, but it was not to be because it's the BUNGAL WAY! Steelers win easily. Snell scores twice, Big Ben throws 3 TDs. The Bengals score twice too and even have the audacity to get a 2 point conversion in the end, but it's not even close. Steelers dominate to end the week and keep themselves in the hunt for the #1 seed. 🤯 celebrates, RagnarokMike finds something to complain about because he's just waiting for something to go wrong and the rest of us? Well, we barely pay attention to the game. Steelers win 38-15.

Looking at the game tomorrow night is crazy and tells you how much coaching can make a difference. Like the Chargers are a better team with a better roster aside from offensive line and running back yet the Raiders are somehow in the hunt and the Chargers largely suck.
Lynn handicaps this team so bad. I think the Chargers would have a better record than the Raiders if they swapped coaches.

Curious how bad Herbert carves the Raiders up, wonder if the D Coordinator change in a span of 3 days even matters here.

I'm never confident in Buffalo because of *gestures at the past 30 years* but I agreed with KING KID. I think Buffalo found themselves, has too much momentum, and has kept it together better than most teams this season. They clinch this weekend and the tables better run and hide.

Curious how bad Herbert carves the Raiders up, wonder if the D Coordinator change in a span of 3 days even matters here. It couldn’t hurt and at the very least , gives them less tape to work with.

I look forward to wasting time at work writing this out every week. I might as well do this shit on the clock and get PAID for it! By the way, @admin , I think it's time I get that SPORTS MOD status; no? AMIRIE UT ?
Go gettem jTjohncenaGOAT ! Colts win 30-17.Jacksonville Jaguars vs Baltimore Ravens- MINSHEWMANIA IS BACK~! But wait~! WHO'S DIS COMIN OUT DA LOCKER ROOM WITH A LIMP~?! IT'S LAMAHHHHHH BIG TRUSSSSS JACKSON! CHAIR SHOT~! BAH GAWD~1 HIS MUSTACHE IS RIPPED IN HALF~! WAIT A MINUTE~! IT'S A BABY CHARK ATTACK~! WAIT A MINUTE; IS THIS A MOVIE~?! NO~! IT'S HOLLYWOOD~! HERE COMES MARK INGRAM, NO JK HAHA, IT'S GUS THE BUS~! DOWN GOES ROBINSON~! DOWN GOES THE JAGUARS~! LOSING STREAK HITS 13~! THE JAGUARS WILL NOT WIN ANOTHER GAME THIS SEASON~! THE RAVENS WILL TAKE THAT PLAYOFF SPOT AWAY FROM MIAMI~!
They stay in the NFC East hunt and unfortunately for pduh , this injury ravaged season for the 49ers was just too much for them to overcome. Cowboys win 27-17.Seattle Seahawks vs Washington Football Team- There is optimism that Alex Smith can play in this game and that gives me reason to cheer. Steelers win 38-15.Enjoyed the pun. But I did notice something was off about the Seattle/Washington part. So I fixed it for ya.

Brown and Boykin are close contacts of a coach so they have time to get back for Sunday. RoJo also has a finger injury so he's probably out, interesting timing considering Fournette was a healthy scratch last week.

Also check this wild story out. Say what you want about the Lions, but they have some fucking warriors on those teams. "Frank Ragnow approached quarterbacks Matthew Stafford and Chase Daniel early in Sunday's loss to Green Bay and told them they would have to make the line calls the rest of the game.
Ragnow could barely talk. At the time, Daniel thought it was funny; no one knew until the next day how bad Ragnow's injury was.
At some point in the first quarter, the Lions' starting center fractured his throat.
Ragnow did not allow a sack or pressure while playing with a fractured throat. He played every snap the rest of the game."

Linemen really are a different breed. I'm actually surprised throat injuries aren't more common considering all the hand fighting that goes on and the frequency of hands to the face penalties, etc. Ragnow's turned into one of the league's best centers after the Lions did him a disservice by playing him at guard in his first season. I remember PFF being super high on him pre-draft and they were spot on.
Just looking back at the 2018 first round - there's surprisingly few busts there. It's only really Rosen and the two Patriots picks that haven't worked out. I'm prepared to give Darnold a shot on a new team.

It's only really Rosen and the two Patriots picks that haven't worked out. I'm prepared to give Darnold a shot on a new team. The 2018 draft will always get talked about about the 5 RBs that came out of it first round. Baker, Allen, Darnold, Rosen and of course Lamar. The other guys drafted that round are huge. I knew Minkah Fitzpatrick was going to be a beast coming out of college. I was cool with Roquan Smith and his hype. Then you got the best CB in the NFL Jaire Alexander going 18th 14 PICKS AFTER Denzel Ward. He went after difference makers in Tremaine and Derwin though so that was a pretty bad ass trio followed by injury prone Leighton Vander Esch. Hayden Hurst and Calvin Ridley went back to back in the first round and are now teammates. Crazy that Hayden Hurst was drafted before Mark Andrews, but they kept Andrews. So much cool shit you learn when revisiting drafts. But even out of the first round, there were some studs drafted. Here are some random playmakers on offense that went in the 2nd round or later but are big parts of their team or servicable enough on offense. 2nd round:- Nick Chubb - Ronald Jones - Courtland Sutton - Mike Gesicki - Dallas Goadert - Christian Kirk - Anthony Miller - Kerryon Johnson - DJ Chark 3rd round:- Mark Andrews - Michael Gallup - Traquon Smith - Jordan Akins 4th round:- Keke Coutee - Nyheim Hines - Will Dissly - Durham Smythe - Kalen Ballage - Dalton Schultz (who was drafted here because Philly stole Goadert)7th round:- Richie James - Justin Jackson - Ryan Izzo - Auden Tate - Trey Quinn (mr. irrelevant) Ugh. This was fun. I'm going through more drafts now.

Wow. That 2017 draft is probably the biggest superstar draft ever.
- Mahomes - Watson - CMC - Kamara - Dalvin - Mixon - Fournette - Kareem Hunt - James Conner - Kittle - Kupp - Godwin - Golloday - Mike Will - Corey Davis - Engram - Juju - Samuel
Then on defense:
- Garrett - TJ Watt - Buddha Baker - Tredavious White - Lattimore - Humphrey - Adoree Jackson - Haason Reddick - Shaq Griffin
Just wow. So much star power out of this draft and then there's Mitch Trubisky; #2 overall pick. LOL.

Really you mention names like Fournette , Mixon , Connor and such and no Aaron Jones? Aaron Jones must've slipped my sight. Crazy how Lenny went ahead of all those guys. Fournette was hyped as the next Adrian Peterson coming out of the draft and I believed in him. I loved CMC from college and was PISSED he got drafted by the Panthers because I did not think he would be able to show off with Cam. Both guys along with Hunt and Kamara were HUGE that season in fantasy football. All played great. Kamara was a league winner. Joe Mixon also got a lot of hype as the next Le'Veon Bell and well that hasn't happened. But that list is still unbelievable.

Stop bringing Mike McCagnnan led drafts, don't add salt to my wound. With the talent he missed, by far the worst GM or at least top 3 of this decade. Amazing how much shit came out of the Texans outside of Rick Smith. Amazing Charlie Casserly had the balls to push McCagnnan up to the Jets. Gave up Quinton Nelson and I think Darius Leonard up in the trade up for Darnold.
Jets made a big whiff 6th overall in the 2015 & 2017 NFL Draft, epecially over the talent that went after each guy. Both busts didn't even finish their rookie contracts out and were terrible picks in hindsight. And the Darron Lee pick ugh.
Fuck Mike McCagnnan, I seriously mean that. The 0-16 season is as much on him as it's on Joe Douglas who has to clean up his mess.

The 2011 draft is still the gold standard of this era. The three overdrafted QBs tarnish it a bit, but you've got five or six future hall of famers, plus Cam as an MVP, and then a bunch more strong decade long starters out of the first round.

Has anyone's stock gone up this year in 2020 more than Louis Riddick as far as announcing goes? Elevated to the MNF crew perm with a stellar Week 1 Late Game call to do all the games and is now getting interviewed by the Texans for their GM gig. UT boy has evolved into being a main cog of ESPN football talk, I think he was in the panel in for McShay at the draft too. EDIT: Detroit Lions also going to interview him as GM. Holy shit.

He's taken GM interviews before, I know he interviewed with the Giants before they hired Gettleman. He obviously has an interest to get back into the personnel game, but it will be a shame to lose him from MNF as he clearly elevates the Levy/Griese combo.

I've been looking back at some of these drafts and some of these things blow my mind.
The TE's that were drafted BEFORE Travis Kelce were:
Tyler Eiffert (1st round!), Zack Ertz (no shade), Gavin Escobar (WTF DALLAS?!), Vance McDonald (ummm....)
And it just blows my mind what afterthoughts these guys are from the same draft class. Vance McDonald is WASHED UP. Eiffert was never much.
DAVANTE ADAMS WAS TAKEN AFTER THESE WRS:
Sammy Watkins (4th overall pick; career saved by Mahomes), Mike Evans (7th overall, not bad), OBJ (12th overall, he did his thing for a bit), Brandin Cooks (20th pick, eh), Kelvin Benjamin (28th pick, BUST), Marquise Lee (39th pick, boo), Jordan Matthews (42nd pick, never lived up to anything), Paul Richardson (45th pick; who?)
That's 8 receivers who got drafted before Davante and even though it took him a bit longer to shine, he's clearly the best with Evans laying claim to 2nd best. Then there was Allen Robinson and Jarvis Landey drafted shortly after him too. Just amazing shit in hindsight.
We also know about the Bells and ABs and how far they fell in those drafts, too. Just incredible how some teams can constantly hit and some teams can constantly miss.
