On a serious note , with Smith and Rivera’s stories and just the resilience they show as people and as a team... Washington is hard not to root for.  Doesn’t change Rivera or Smith or their plight.

OK of course that wasn't a great spectacle, but American sports people literally spend hours and hours talking about whether teams are tanking year round, and when it actually happens everyone throws their toys out of the pram?
The Giants have no real argument that they have been jobbed. Try winning more than six games next time. Philly owe them nothing and they got themselves a higher draft pick, while Washington have been the best team so deserve the division.
