I'd be happy with a Bills/Saints Super Bowl, that's a game where I could support either winner.

Glad I was wrong about the game last night. One step away from a huge heavyweight showdown between the Chiefs and the Bills. Make it happen Chiefs.
The closer it gets to game time, the more I feel like the Browns could hang around in this Chiefs game with the run game. And they have enough playmakers on defense that if they make a couple plays, you never know.
I want the Bucs to beat the Saints. They're just more interesting to me with their big play offense. It's a coin flip game though.

Lasts night game was awful. I fell asleep , during a playoff game. I've never fallen asleep during a playoff game. Happy the fraud of a Ravens team is out of it though and we are more than likely going to get Bills/Chiefs next week.
Still loving that Packers game , how often does the #1 offense actually dismantle the #1 defense? Always seems like it goes the other way , and make no mistakes - that was a dismantling. We could have easily put up 40+ if not for Lazard's wide open drop and taking a knee at like the three yard line at the end.
Granted Donald wasn't 100% but watching the game again it was awesome to see The Flower completely outcoach the Rams hot shot DC. The Rams started the game allowing the Packers to slowly move down the field , dink and dunk and forcing Rodgers to play patient ... and he did. When that wasn't working the Rams starting playing tighter and Rodgers and The Flower immediately took advantage over the top with Lazard and a few attempts to MVS.
On the other side the defense had it's ups and downs , but as I said last night - made plays when it mattered. McVey was totally protecting Goff throughout and not wanting to put the game in his hands with quick passes and easy reads. Granted in Goffs defense , his offensive line played like trash and wasn't protecting him well enough to let them get any shots off. Any time they got into 3rd and 8 or more I knew the drive was over because Goff wasn't going to handle the pressure. Decent job by Pettine overall but it's time to crown Gary the next up and comer. Dude as been a beast over the last 8 games and goes stretches where he's unblockable... he's going to make Preston Smith expendable in the offseason.
Don't care what happens today. I like our chances better against the Saints in Lambeau but getting the Bucs again wouldn't be bad either. If we are on - I don't see either team coming to Lambeau and winning.
Hoping for a nice showing from the Browns today. I don't want to see them get wiped out ... I still don't think they will win when it comes down to it but if they can make it a game in the 4th quarter anything can happen.

UT the Packers look unbeatable to be honest. If they play like they did against the #1 defense, there is no way NO or TB can beat them. It’s crazy this is the first home game Aaron Rodgers will have in an NFC Championship game. It’s also crazy that he’s 1-3 in NFC Championship games. It goes to prove that nobody remembers you if you finish 3rd or 4th. I didn’t even realize he was in FOUR NFC Championship games already. I’m sure you know because you’re a fan but I had no idea without looking back and saying “oh that’s right.” Andy Reid is coming into this game today 7-0 against Cleveland. 4-0 as an Eagles HC. 3-0 as a Chiefs HC. Time to make it 4-0 for both teams. I’m nervous about the game because I don’t want to watch an AFC Championship game with Bills and Browns facing off but only because I am obsessed with the Chiefs. I need that Demarcus Robinson TD badly too. NO/TB is going to be a classic I think. Can’t wait for today’s games.

Yeah it’s heartbreaking , on one hand we have had shot after shot - on the other.... the crushing losses pile up and take a toll.
The game against the Seahawks was the worst and the one Super Bowl IMO where you can point to McCarthy costing Rodgers a ring. That was our game and he blew it seven ways to Sunday.
Last year never seemed like we should matchup against the 49ers, we had glimpses all year of what the offense could be but were far more capable of just laying an egg. This year the offense is fully formed.
And that Falcons game was a weird one, I remember everything feeling lost at the Kuhn fumble and was a case of a McCarthy team just being under prepared for a big game. Mistakes all over , lethargic energy ... just sucked.
This team I think had a real swagger to them on both sides of the ball , the defense isn’t perfect but they have that confidence and are playing as fast as I’ve seen them play in quite a few years. Gary is a difference maker , Savage is becoming a bigger one ... we are young and hungry on that side of the ball and I like that in the playoffs.
Offensively we are the opposite. Maturity and leadership from Rodgers and Adams, comfortable ... they got the swagger but it’s more of a confidence than anything.

I thought it was the Giants who beat them on a GW FG but then I looked and that was a Favre team. Really sucks to always come that close. Sometimes it’s better to not even make the playoffs then to deal with that heartbreak. You can just do what Blindy does and bring up the Jets in any and every situation during any other game. I really don’t know who I’m pulling for to win the NFC. 1- Packers My wife’s favorite player used to be Aaron Rodgers until I introduced her to Patrick Mahomes. She wants them to face off in the Super Bowl and I’m sure so does State Farm. I like Aaron Rodgers too but most importantly I wouldn’t mind them making the Super Bowl so you ( UT) can get that moment of having a team there so that’s why I don’t mind them making it. 2- Saints This was my preseason pick to make the Super Bowl and my love for Kamara is well known. I also want to see Drew Brees go out in a Super Bowl game. Win or lose. Weirdly enough I hate Jared Cook and Taysom Hill but Brees and Kamara make up for it. 3- Buccaneers I should be obsessed with this team. Brady, AB and Fournette are guys I always defend and love watching. Then add on Gronk and Suh who I have always had a love for. Mike Evans is a warrior and Godwin is great too. I should be rooting for them more then any other team to face off against the Chiefs in the Super Bowl because that would be an All Star clash for my fandom. I just don’t know if they have what it takes as a WHOLE to get there. I am pulling for the Chiefs and it would only make sense to settle my hatred for Josh Allen in a battle for the AFC with my dog Mahomes and RT and his Josh Allen led Mafia. They need to take care of the DAWG Pound first. Once the Chiefs win that game; I can enjoy this Buccaneers/Saints game. I will be heartbroken if the Browns pull off the upset. I also just finished doubling down on a Demarcus Robinson TD by placing another bet on him scoring. Let’s make it happen with no Sammy Watkins. It can’t be all Tyreek Hill.

This could be another high scoring game unless the Chiefs defense decide to finally show up. That’s what scares me the most. That defense. Bucs/Saints is a coin toss for sure and that’s wild saying that considering NO is 2-0 against them this season and TB never looked like they had a chance in either game.

This could bite me in the behind but I think the whole world is going to see how finished Leveon Bell looks if he is to start and get the bulk of the carries with CEH out for today. He looked absolutely useless with the Jets this year(right on cue KING KID), and I don't even blame Gase on it. From beat writers I follow, he seemingly did not want to hit the hole ASAP and rather danced around behind the LOS and waited for a crease to open to try and bite more yardage for the big play.

Difference was that he had a great line for a lot of year in Pitt that made it possible - you can’t play that same way with poor or average offensive lines without getting eaten up.

He was a dual threat back and was a superb receiving back that I blame Gase on for not using it but I saw different RBs down the stretch hit holes quicker. Not sure if he was nursing something as he missed a couple of games but I don't think he has the Pittsburgh days anymore in him. I don't see him as a 25+ carry back at this point.

That's how Bell has ALWAYS run the ball. He hesitates behind the line and waits for holes to open up. Then he uses his burst to explode through them quickly. The Jets O-line though is pure hot garbage, so the holes never materialize, and Bell isn't the type of back that makes big yards after contact.

Yes Blindy but I’m saying Bell was never the type of back who hit the holes fast. He was one of the most unorthodox runners I can remember in the way he would linger behind the line and wait for a crease. Like I said though , he needs a really good offensive line for that and I don’t think KC has that at this point either.

He's older now and the Jets had backs run behind them for 100 yards late in the year(Ty Johnson vs Raiders) so I don't necessarily see him as a premier back like he once was like 4 years ago. He doesn't have the same burst anymore. I liked the Chiefs signing since he adds to pass protection and can catch the ball and be a good spell for CEH but if CEH is going to miss time in these big games, I don't trust Bell as the every down back at this point.

I wouldn’t even be surprised if Cleveland jumps out to a 10-0 lead.

As for Le’Veon Bell; he’s obviously not the RB he once was. It’s still great insurance policy for them with CEH injured and Damien Williams opting out of the season. Damien opting out is wild though considering you’re on a team that could literally be a Dynasty. Joe Mixon has tried to mirror his game around Bell as he has stated many times that was his idol. That has never materialized into a great RB because of the line. The O-Line made Bell and of course Big Ben throwing dump off passes to Bell has always helped too. It’s hard to be a great RB forever though. Adrian Peterson, Frank Gore, Ladanian Tomlinson (go ahead Blindy mention his Jets stint) all eventually look like shells of their former selves. That’s why guys who retire young get talked about like legends because you never see them age on the field.

I liked Leveon as a Jet from an attitude perspective, he came here for the money but he also wanted to earn his pay, he just doesn't have 'it' anymore. I am rooting for him to win a ring he was good here he just had a HC who didn't know how to use him and had him line up at WR. This isn't me shitting on Bell because he left. He is what he is, a complimentary back. Kid nailed it, he is what LT ended up becoming for the Jets, I just don't know if he can allow his ego to understand that at this point.
Now as I say this watch he has some monster of a game vs the Browns

I don't think it matters who wins the Brees/Brady showdown tonight. If Green Bay plays like they did yesterday they're going to kill whoever they face. The Rams defense is killer and they still hung 32 points on them and made it look easy.
I don't think either the Saints or the Bucs have a good enough offense to hang with them. And their defenses are worse than the Rams.
...
I'm obviously cheering for the Browns today because they're an easier match up for Buffalo, but at the same time, Bills vs Chiefs is money.
Buffalo and KC's match up this season was weird. Allen played like shit but Buffalo's defense kept them alive. Only lost by 9. If Buffalo is on point it would be a hell of a game.
We didn't play Cleveland this year but they're the weaker team. But if they upset the champs, do you want to face that momentum? I mean...probably.. but like, I'd have no idea what to expect.
Whatever I don't care who wins, I just want them to beat the holy fuck out of each other.

I’m over the “Chiefs are barely winning games” narrative I keep reading because in most of their games they’ve carried at 10-20 point lead and the defense has gone into a prevent that did nothing for them. The phrase “score was closer than the game felt” was used so often. Browns are a good team and might win, but I think the Chiefs are going back to the Super Bowl.

Can’t say they got lucky to beat Baltimore considering both kickers missed 2 FGs but Lamar Jackson was trash. Still the Bills did nothing to impress me in that game or the Indy game. Only scary thing about Buffalo is their last loss was on Hail Murray and they could easily be riding a double digit win streak into next week. Just beat the Browns.

Heard a few interesting stats on a podcast this morning.
The Ravens made FIVE trips inside the 30 yard line last night , which is the general scoring zone. They scored 3 points on those 5 drives. Crazier is that they gave up 7 points with the pick six so technically, Baltimore was -4 points inside the thirty yesterday.
Also Goff was pressured 15/31 dropbacks last yesterday. The highest of any quarterback under McVay with the Rams. That's a solid defensive effort.
