Really like the TJ Slayton and SJC picks.
SJC is someone I targeted a ton in my little mocks.

Ian Book future of the Saints franchise @theshow How do you feel about his prospects as a pro? From the little I’ve seen of him, I wasn’t too impressed with him outside of the regular season game vs Clemson. Anyways, I don’t hate the pick. He is in a great spot with Sean Payton and his coaching staff. I hope he can develop into a decent player.

Cade Johnson one of the UDFA like to see the Niners pick him up for depth purpose at WR can’t rely on Hurd due to his health and Trent Taylor who is a disappointment

He is very limited and I see him as a backup in this league, sorta reminds me of Chase Daniel. He's going to find ways to make a buck, gritty as hell kid, he is a good athlete and has a medium arm. He doesn't have anything that jumps out at you but he was a big part of the team's success past couple of years since he took the job off of Tommy Rees.

We got the two best Ole Miss targets in UDFA Kenny Yeboah & 2nd rounder Elijah Moore. Are you kidding? I think Yeboah got a shot to earn a spot on the 53 man roster.

I'm not too familiar with Wilson. Is he that much better than Darnold when he departed USC?

I'm not too familiar with Wilson. Is he that much better than Darnold when he departed USC? Not really , but is propensity for making off platform throws and out of structure plays really helped him out and drew comps to Rodgers and Mahomes. And it’s hard not to fall in love with that. It’s the new thing. I think he’s a good prospect , has some good potential but my biggest worry is that he had it on easy street at BYU on and off the field really... I still think Darnold was the slightly better prospect before the Jets ruined him.

Really happy with how things panned out for the Giants. Got a couple of guys to hopefully add to the pass rush in Ojulari which seemed like great value in the second round, and then this intriguing guy Elerson Smith in the fourth round. He went from 190 at the start of his college career up to 260 pounds at the Senior Bowl which is a pretty crazy transformation. A couple of depth additions to the secondary is great too - you can never have enough corners these days. Our secondary looks absolutely incredible now.
Only slight question mark is the lack of an offensive lineman but we used three picks there last draft - and there's always the possibility of picking up a vet who gets cut by another team later on.
Non-Giants related I'm absolutely thrilled for the fit D'Wayne Eskridge landed in Seattle. That seems like a perfect spot given his similarity to - he could come in an make a real difference as a deep threat for Russell Wilson.
Overall it's hard to go past the Browns as the big winners from the draft. They addressed all three levels of their defence, and got the fastest of all the burner WRs. All three of those defensive picks Newsome, Owusu-Koromoah & Toigai look like excellent value for their draft positions, and when you combine them with the FA acquisitions of John Johnson and Troy Hill, plus Grant Delpit who will be basically a bonus rookie - their defence should be so much better this season.

I still think Darnold was the slightly better prospect before the Jets ruined him. Darnold's problem was turnovers in USC & with NYJ. Zach Wilson seems to have more emphasis on lack of turnovers and has a quicker release. Hope Brady can fix this problem but no one has done so yet. It's the one major thing that's going to hold him back. If it makes sense, Darnold is the better athlete but Wilson is the better passer to answer your question Ed . Feels like the BYU offensive system really played to Wilson's strengths, while Clay Helton didn't do so for Darnold. Darnold even to this day is not a good pocket passer, he shines on throwing on the run and when there is less thinking going on. It's why I begged for him to do 2 minute drills but the coaches(Gase) refused to let him audible or call stuff on his own. Darnold's football IQ is suspect but I wonder if when he's given an actual good coach like Brady, how much will he show.

Reminds me of Montez Sweat a couple of years who fell a little bit because of a heart condition that turned out to be a misdiagnosis - and that turned out to be perfectly fine for Washington.
