Had a brief look at tomorrow's Dynamite card.

What is TK doing?

Mike and Matt Sydal vs. FTR - What an insult to FTR. I'm sure they'll make a match out of it for whatever reason, but this should be an easy win.

The Young Bucks vs. Santana & Ortiz - Hold the phone. How did Santana and Ortiz receive a title match? Was their win over Fuego Del Sol & Vary Morales really that impressive? Santana & Ortiz seriously need to spend two months on Dark, work their way up and try again. They've been a wreck ever since the Stadium Stampede.

Matt Hardy & Adam Cole vs. The Hybrid 2 - Again, what is this doing on Dynamite? The Hybrid 2 can't win a match and if Matt wanted to make a statement, shouldn't he aim a little higher? Why not give us Matt Hardy & Adam Cole vs. The Dark Order?

Jon Moxley & Rey Fenix & Lance Archer vs. Eddie Kingston & The Butcher & The Blade - Seriously does Eddie Kingston have something over TK? How did he earn another main event with his main roster record. Don't quote that Dark nonsense, nobody watches Dark for the actual wrestling, it's for the banter. A waste of everybody's time.

Riho vs. Serena Deeb - OK, now we're talking. However since I have a bee up my bonnet can I just say I find TK's obsession with tournaments and battle royals annoying. Just book matches we want to see and whoever generates the most interest gets the push. Why do we have to have all these tournaments? Isn't that what the rankings are for? Let's put that aside, this should be a good match and it really should be the main event of this sorry card. If this either doesn't open or close the show I swear to god TK...

Judging from the report, it sounds like TNA told Sammy what they had in mind. Sammy then went to Jericho and voiced his displeasure with it and tried to get the entire thing changed until Jericho spoke with Callis and just had the entire thing cancelled.

Wrestling Inc speculates that he was originally planned to join Decay, but instead they had to quickly put Black Taurus into the group who otherwise would have been a big luchadore signing.

If it was to join Decay then Sammy was definitely right since I don't think he would have fit with them. Black Taurus was the better option.X-division probably would have made more since Rohit and Bey have had enough chances for a while. And Swann has moved on

I know Adam Cole has issues with Finn Balor and Undisputed Era, but did he really quit NXT that quickly? Adam Cole vs Adam Page will be an interesting match down the line.

On a serious note, I'm not a fan of how they've been booking Hangman Page in general. He's been stuck in the same "depressed alcoholic single wrestler who can't find his way" position for what seems like a year now, with zero progress. The payoff for all of this should have been a long time ago, ideally beating Kenny in the finals of the tournament. Now the teasing with Dark Order is taking weeks longer than it should. Come to a conclusion on the guy already.

The first one should be good. And that probably will be a better tag team then some of the other full time AEW tag teams.

The second match will be a young bucks match so it won't make sense.

The third one is a dark match but only due to TH2 booking. But you aren't excited that Cole turned heel on nXt and going to debut on AEW the next week. He really knows how to shock the system. :lol: Wouldn't be surprised if Anna paid Matt to take page off their hands. On BTE he keep sitting outside their club room like some lose puppy after he turned them down. And Anna told Page to take a hike.5 saw it but Anna threaten him to keep it quiet. And no one listens to 5 usually so her secret should be safe.

The fourth one is for stat manipulation. I think Eddie's trios record is pretty good but his singles in real matches is awful. Don't quote me on that.

The fifth one I believe that I will be complaining about something in that match most likely the winner probably Riho, the final move probably a not surprise surprise roll up, or Riho weak striking.

You wouldn't believe the amount of times I've had to correct myself between Page/Cole over the years. :lol: It only goes one way as well, I guess I can never have enough Cole.

I just don't get what Matt Hardy is playing at either. Didn't he just beat one of the better singles guys in Sammy Guevara in a blood feud? Why isn't he making a serious play at the TNT Championship? Or even going after Kenny? I just want Tony to put on better matches on Dynamite. Outside of Riho/Deeb, none of these matches look that exciting.

Okay, TK is clearly a PW alumni and took my advice on board. He's decided to add another match on the card, something that will really shake up the very foundations of AEW with two world class competitors.

OMG, exploding barbwire deathmatch. I wonder how long Moxley has been wanting to that stipulation. It was the one stipulation that CZW and IWA-MS could not figure out.

Pity these matches are amazing to announce but in reality almost always suck hard.  Kudo vs Shark I think was the only one I enjoyed, and that was for the spots that did not involve the wire.

Do not have too. FMW always did them indoors. You make the ropes spark more than smoke and it is all good. Also after the rope spots there is a shit load of selling anyway, so you just let it clear.

Curious what is up with Kenny too wanting to do these classical hardcore matches. So not his style and will likely leave him scarred.

Don't Moxley and Omega still have a pending lawsuit against them(or against AEW) from their hardcore match back in Maryland a year and half ago?

Also from tonight, guess the Stinger is doing a lot better than people assumed. Or is just fucking crazy. He was planted with that powerbomb.

They paid 10k.  That is the fine for doing a deathmatch in Maryland.  Cannot believe the CZW ban was still on the books.  I did a presentation on it in 2002 for my political science class after it was enacted.  I got to show the class Mondo taking the weedwhacker to the stomach and started a conversation on whether or not that should be legal if two adults consent to it.

So the one competitive match of the entire night, the one where the winner wasn't completely obvious from the outset was thrown into the middle of the show where an ad-break was always going to eat into it.

I said it elsewhere and while the show did a decent job of promoting Revolution, they could have balanced things so much better.

Props to Kenny Omega for cutting a genuine wrestling promo inside a wrestling ring. I was worried he was going to break into kareoke which he's known to do.
