I like one corner a little more than Slay due to what I think was a higher peak but both are good picks at this point. With the 11th pick in the 2013 Redraft the Chargers select: Terron Armstead , OT , UAPB The Chargers continue to rework their whole line in the past few drafts and they needed to , it's always seem to have been a problem and Rivers really struggled late in his career because of it. Armstead has been one of the best tackles in the league since arriving with the Saints and would slide in right at LT and erase the pretty blah DJ Fluker pick , who failed completely at tackle. The Raiders are on the clock with @admin.

With the 12th pick the Oakland Raiders select AJ Bouye, CB, UCF I was quite surprised to learn that DJ Hayden, the Raiders' actual pick here, is still in the league, I haven't heard his name for a long time. It took Bouye a couple of years to crack the starting lineup with Houston but when he did he quickly ascended to being recognised as one of the best corners in the league. He had a fantastic final season with the Texans in 2016 and then comprised probably the league's best corner pairing for a couple of seasons with Jalen Ramsey in Jacksonville. The Raiders have cycled through players in the secondary for years now, none have had much success, and they've regularly been one of the worst pass defences in the league. Bouye alone wouldn't have been able to change that but having his quality certainly wouldn't have hurt. The New York Jets are back on the clock Blindy - let's get this guy!

With the 13th pick, the NY Jets via Tampa Bay select CB Xavier Rhodes out of Florida St Jets got this pick from the Bucs for CB Darrelle Revis so lets replace him with Rhodes here. The Jets thought they were doing this right but they took the injury prone and hurt Dee Milliner so the end of the day, getting Rhodes is a coup. He took on No.1 assignments for the Vikings and I think a poor 2019 sort of fizzled what was otherwise a hell of a run in purple with 3 pro bowls and an all pro nomination as well. He had a pretty solid year in Indy year 1 including a field day against the Jets with a pick six and couple of INTs on Darnold so he is still contributing for a good team to this day. He gambles sure on some INTs but altogether getting Zach Ertz and Xavier Rhodes here in round 1 is a hell of a day for New York! Carolina OTC UT

Don’t like Bouye over Rhodes at all. Rhodes was as close to shut down as you get for awhile with Minnesota and revived himself with the Colts abit. Speaking of Vikings , this was a good draft for them and I’m about to take another guy. With the 14th pick in the 2013 redraft the Panthers select: Adam Thielen , WR , NFIC From unstaffed to first round pick , Thielen has been a lunchpail guy since coming into the league ... earning his way into three lineup and blowing up for the Vikings. One of the better combinations of route running and hands in the league he would have helped Cam a ton with Steve Smith nearing the end. @admin and the Saints are OTC

Damn Thielen was my other choice for NYJ but we needed to get 1 offensive 1 defensive guy here, good pick. The Panthers defense was in really good shape going forward but a lot of that was probably also aided by drafted Star and Short in the first two rounds. I wanted to just take Short again a round early but it felt wrong.

With the 15th pick the New Orleans Saints select Sheldon Richardson, DL, Missouri Richardson obviously hasn't carved out the career that he looked like he was heading for based off his first couple of seasons with the Jets, but he's still a reliable starter in the league, and in a relatively weak defensive class seems like the best choice for the Saints who were desperate for defensive reinforcements having finished last in rush defence and 31st in pass defence. They had turnover at the position too - DE Will Smith was set to suffer a career ending injury, and he could have moved inside to DT (as he did when he moved to the Seahawks) when the Saints changed to a 4-3 defence a couple of seasons later. Richardson is fifth in the entire class for approximate value, third for sacks, and tenth in games played which surprised me a little bit considering he's copped a couple of short suspensions, so the value seems very fair. Big Shel is still a run stuffing monster, he was great for the Jets just he was late ____ times on player enabler Todd Bowles and he had the 120 MPH fiasco with a minor in his car that sealed his one way trip to Seattle. He's a good player. Idzik's best pick of his tenure. With the 16th pick, the Buffalo Bills select OT Eric Fisher out of Central Michigan So Buffalo dared to test the waters of this woeful QB class with the EJ Manuel selection which set them back a couple of seasons and ultimately led to Doug Marrone going bye bye to Duval. Buffalo needed a WR(And they got one in Robert Woods in round 2) but the value didn't meet the pick here with Thielen not here to save the day. So what I do here is give Buffalo the RT day 1 upgrade to Pears in Fisher who all things considered did a solid job in KC even if he never lived up to top pick expectations. Fisher like with Kelce was among the longest tenured Chiefs and was an important part of their championship run and of this past SB his absence impacted the Chiefs ability to put up points mightily. Given we have hindsight now, Cordy Glenn who was a young riser for the Bills at LT began to be decimated by injuries around 2016 so Fisher could have moved swiftly over to the left side and cover base there for however long needed. Ultimately, for a Buffalo Bills team that had a dangerous defense and an offense that was held back by QB play, Fisher is a good, safe selection at RT for the team with no real go to QB or WR at this point. With the 17th pick in the 2013 Redraft the Pittsburgh Steelers select: Michah Hyde , DB , Iowa Polamalu and Ryan Clark were both getting up there in age and the Steelers secondary as a whole needed more talent. Hyde is one of my favorite players in the league from his days with the Packers - his versatility is much like a poor mans Honey Badger and no doubt in my mind he would have made a splash on the Steelers blitz heavy defense from day one and develop into a borderline all pro he has today in Buffalo. Plus it makes sense sticking with the black and yellow. @admin and the 49ers are OTC

So who is the best QB in this class? Mike fucking Glennon? My god what a brutal year.
Also Sheldon Richardson is so fun to watch when he's on , the dude makes so many splash plays seemingly every time I watch him play. He must play like shit for like 75% of the snaps because on the rest he is all over the place.

With the 18th pick the San Francisco 49ers select Travis Frederick, C, Wisconsin 49ers fans are absolutely loving life with Frederick falling this far someone who is easily in the top 10 from this class on pure ability. Greg Roman's offence was already a rushing machine with Kaepernick and Gore and a strong offensive line, but Center was a position that they could have upgraded on. Add Frederick to Staley, Iupati and Boone and you've got a monster front who would have absolutely dominated. Trent Baalke and Jim Harbaugh had probably already fallen out by this point but had they not, they'd be smoking cigars together over this one, what a STEAL. With the 19th pick, the NY Giants select DT Kawaan Short out of Purdue Giants took Big Hank in round 2 in an effort to help stuff the run and win battles in the interior and I feel they get an upgrade with a fellow round 2 DT in Short who was a menace inside and allowed the Keuchley's wreak havoc on the field. The last 2 seasons saw injuries that ultimately shortened his Panthers tenure before the recent release but he put forth some insane seasons in the mid 2010's and 2018 that I feel the Giants would do real well with this pick and have that pass rush which was fading away due to age(outside of JPP) further fueled by Short inside. With the 21st pick the Cincinnati Bengals select Jamie Collins, LB, Southern Miss The Bengals lost two starting linebackers in free agency this offseason so they need new blood at the position to pair with Vontaze Burfict. They signed James Harrison in real life but that didn't work out. Collins has had an up and down career, he's clearly benefitted from being a Patriot and fitting into their system, while his two trips to Cleveland and Detroit have been underwhelming, but he's sixth from the class in approximate value because at his best he's a true do it all linebacker - he can tackle, he can cover, and he's a playmaker who chips in with a handy amount of sacks and is particularly good at forcing fumbles. With the 22nd pick, the Atlanta Falcons select CB Desmond Trufant out of Washington Trufant was made the pick here in reality and he served 7 solid seasons at cornerback for Atlanta. The Falcons who are always in need of quality cornerback play saw Trufant arguably carry a vital role trying to go after the no.1's of opposing WR cores week in week out, arguably with Vic Beasley as the very best pass rusher. Trufant is now in Detroit and is stuck on another team lacking talent defensively but a new coaching change might reignite someone who has been solid if nothing else in the NFL. Given what Atlanta needed at the time and that Trufant stepped in and fought hard as a rookie taking on tough assignments, I don't feel the need to change the pick here. UT Vikings OTC

With the 24th pick the Indianapolis Colts select Larry Warford, OG, Kentucky We all know the Colts biggest issue at this time was protecting Andrew Luck (or technically Russell Wilson in this universe) so after drafting Castonzo last season we're further reinforcing the line with Warford on the interior. Warford was consistently solid from the moment he entered the league with Detroit, he was the PFF rookie of the year from this draft class, and their second ranked right guard across the entire league in 2013. He continued to get more accolades upon moving to New Orleans were he rattled off three straight Pro Bowl seasons before opting out in 2020. A lot of teams could do a lot worse than sign him for this upcoming season in real life. He outranks Kyle Long as the top guard from the class in approximate value so this feels like a great get for the Colts at an obvious position of need - they start Mike McGlynn and Hugh Thornton at the position for the next two seasons in real life. With the 25th pick, the Minnesota Vikings select WR Robert Woods out of USC So the Vikings struck mega gold with Adam Thielen as a UDFA but taking him out of the picture, the Vikings rolled with Jerome "Highlight reel" Simpson and Jarius Wright as the backups to Greg Jennings along with a guy with hands of stone but super fast Cordarelle Patterson. They were in need of a good route runner and someone who turned it up under Sean McVay in Los Angeles after an alright rookie contract season in Buffalo, mostly hampered due to bad QB play. Woods is still a solid no.2 and an outstanding no.3 WR so I feel the value is great here. Eclipsing the 1100 yards mark 2 of his 3 seasons with the Rams, Woods has easily warranted a first round grade here for me and it's all about getting top talent here with a whopping 3 1st round picks. You get to pick for Green Bay UT . Yes you do.

That’s a nice snag Blindy. Didn’t even see him. With the next pick in the 2013 redraft in the Packers select: Brandon Williams , NT , MSS I finally get to pick for the Packers and it’s the worst draft ever. So I take Brandon Williams to coincide with Blindy pick last year of Jackson... and someone to be in place for the aging Pickett and eventually departing Raji. The Texans and @admin are up.

With the 27th pick the Houston Texans select Kenny Stills, WR, Oklahoma I was targeting Woods here, and although Stills is a bit of a drop off from him, the WR need for Houston was obviously significant so I'm going with the next best option. The Texans really needed to get someone other than Andre Johnson for Matt Schaub (and Ryan Fitzpatrick) to throw to. Obviously they really hit the jackpot with Hopkins in reality so whoever they would get at this spot would have been a disappointment in comparison. Stills has been a decent #2 guy throughout his career averaging about 40/600/6 and obviously ended up in Houston briefly. He's (quietly) been a good TD scorer over his career, having put the ball in the paint one more time than Zach Ertz which surprised me. Houston were 31st in points scored in the 2013 season so he could have helped there. The Broncos are on the clock Blindy

With the 28th pick, the Denver Broncos select RB Latavius Murray out of Central Florida Broncos desperately needed a back here in the worst way and they had 2 shots at it. The 2nd round with Wisconsin alum Monte Ball and a UDFA by the name of CJ Anderson, funny enough the latter outperformed the former massively and was the workhorse of their title run a season later. I give them a back here who is still chugging to this day albeit behind the amazing Alvin Kamara in New Orleans in Murray. Murray came on strong as a 6th rounder for Oakland and was their lead back in their revival to semi-glory, at least getting back to the playoffs and all. Nearing 5000 total rushing yards in his career, all things considered Murray has had a heck of a career thus far and gives Denver overall versatility that would have been sensational here for them. They could not trot Ronnie Hillman & a banged up Knowshon Moreno out there for 16+ games. Vikings OTC for the final time UT

With the 30th pick the St Louis Rams select Cordarrelle Patterson, KR, Tennessee The Rams knew they needed a playmaker type wide receiver which led to the overdraft of Tavon Austin. Patterson has obviously been a more successful version of that type of player, and in addition has become one of the great kick returners ever, tied for the all time lead in KR touchdowns. On offence many OCs have tried and failed to really unlock his return ability to become a real difference maker, his rookie season of 621 scrimmage yards remains his season high - but as the only four time all pro from the 2013 draft class(!) and fulfilling a need at the end of the first round rather than the start, I like this pick based on the lack of quality talent that we've all identified. I'm done! The Dallas Cowboys are on the clock Blindy

With the 31st pick the Dallas Cowboys select Jobber MA$E out of RETRIBUTION (For real he was the Texans 3rd round pick this draft!!!! Brennan Williams)For real Dallas selects OG/OT Justin Pugh out of Syracuse Never a superstar player, Pugh offers versatility here for the Cowboys OLine and this was before the Zack Martin pick so I think Pugh while is nowhere close to Martin as far as ability goes, can rock 3 different positions for Dallas between LG/RG/RT and he's still starting out in Arizona so for a long term standpoint, gotta give credit to Jerry Reese, he picked a lineman that should last about 10 years or so in the league which is a testament to itself. Not a pretty pick and I wanted to pick that position for Dallas to say I was the one to pick em but the next team is up and UT has a shot there. Eric Reid was up for consideration but I think Jerry Jones would have throne him off the plane the minute he began kneeling like how quick Dontari Poe was let go Ravens OTC UT , time to end this draft!

I’m putting a bullet in it....
The Ravens select Jordan Reed ,TE , Florida
Despite winning the SB , Baltimore still had plenty of needs ... but this draft at this point really has nothing for them. So I’m going to take Reed to give Flacco another weapon and hope an offensive linemen falls in the second round.
