NWA/IMPACT "PowerrrPact" PreviewThe NWA/IMPACT coalition will wrap up their round robin matches this week with a special 2-night special presentation titled "PowerrrPact," which will air for free on YouTube on Thursday and Friday night. Both NWA and IMPACT have been hard at work getting caught up with the rest of the teams in the past weeks, hosting matches in the NWA and IMPACT arenas as well as making the trip to Jacksonville to appear on AEW Dark. The hard work has paid off and now both companies look to go out of the round robin with a bang. Emerging from the pack and taking a run at the top 3 is standout Ace Austin, who has been absolutely crushing it since getting off to a slow start. Austin's only loss in the past month has been to newcomer Matt Silva, which puts the pressure on Austin to finish out the round robin with a win in order to stay ahead of Silva in the standings should Silva win his final match against Aron Stevens.Standing in Ace Austin's way is his toughest challenger yet, the man that currently sits in the #1 spot, Josh Alexander. Alexander thought he had the #1 spot clinched last week, but Austin managed to pull off a stunning upset over Nick Aldis on a special episode of AEW Darkerrr. Alexander could only stand by and watch as his match against Austin this week became that much more important, as the winner will claim the first overall spot on Team NWA/Impact. Speaking of that match, it had major reprecussions for Nick Aldis. After struggling for a couple weeks he turned on the jets and went on a winning streak, taking the rest of his WWW round robin matches (usually by cheating) until his final one that was the loss against Austin. Aldis still sits in 3rd place overall, but should Matt Silva win his final match against Aron Stevens later this week, Silva will leapfrog both Aldis and MOOSE and claim the 3rd place spot for his own. On top of that, if Ace Austin fails to beat Josh Alexander, he will fall to a 6-3 record, the same as Silva, Aldis and MOOSE...however Austin and Silva both hold wins over Aldis, which would mean that Nick Aldis, Ace Austin and MOOSE are all tied and a triple threat tie-breaker match would be triggered. The women's division has the same potential outcome. On Night 1 of PowerrrPact Deonna Purrazzo will face Thunder Rosa in their final match of the women's round robin. Rosa is currently undefeated and looks to stay that way, and if she does, Purrazzo will find herself in a 3-way tie with Rosemary and Kiera Hogan. Should this occur, a triple threat match will take place on Night 2 to resolve the rankings. Not wanting to be left out, NWA & IMPACT have some amazing matches coming up this week and the outcome of the round robin is far from being confirmed. Don't miss it.

Xavier Woods w/Kofi Kingston Finn Balor Returns to RAW; Replaces Bray Wyatt in WWWYeah...what the title says. For the 3rd time since the round robin matches started, a slot has changed hands. What started with Braun Strowman was handed to Bray Wyatt, and then handed to Finn Balor. Both Strowman and Wyatt have been released from the company and if you're a betting person, maybe put some money down on Balor being the next big name out the door. The cursed slot in WWW now sits with a record of 6-3 as Balor managed to defeat Kevin Owens and will secure the 3rd overall spot on Team WWE should AJ Styles lose his match to Roman Reigns on Smackdown this Friday. Being in the top 3 ensures Balor a shot at the Wrestling World War championship, but also comes with some perks according to the rules vaguely laid out by Chris Jericho a couple months ago. Inter-promotional matches are set to kick off in the coming weeks and with little to no information being given, it's anyone's guess what the immediate future holds. I guess we just have to hope that the WWE doesn't fire half their team before those matches begin.

Tomoaki Honma, Ryusuke Taguchi & Master Wato NJPW Summer Struggle: Tie-Breaker Match Angers Jay WhiteThe Switchblade and leader of Bullet Club had some choice words for The Ace of New Japan and NJPW as a whole. Hiroshi Tanahashi got a victory over the IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Shingo Takagi on Night 1 of Summer Struggle, and this initiated a tie-breaker match. Tanahashi, Minoru Suzuki & Shingo Takagi all sat at a 4-5 record with wins over one another, so on Night 2 the three men settled their dispute in a triple threat match that Tanahashi won. However, Jay White was also at 4-5 overall but had already traveled to the United States to participate in NJPW Resurgence in Los Angeles where he will defend the NEVER Openweight Championship against Finlay. White held less claim to the tie-breaker, although White did defeat Hiroshi Tanahashi when they met in their WWW round robin match. White has protested the rankings and rightfully so. He holds a victory over Hiroshi Tanahashi, however since he did not participate in the tie-breaker match, he sits in 7th place overall while Tanahashi has claimed the 4th place spot. This is a drastic situation for White because, while he doesn't have to participate in the 8-10 elimination matches next week, he does sit at the bottom of the pile of men who do not face elimination. The difference between 4th place and 7th place is a huge deal, and Jay White is calling foul. The leader of Bullet Club was already disgruntled with the company after being forced to go through COVID-19 protocols while other NJPW stars did not have to, leading to his early departure for the United States. The sour taste will only cause a further rift and White has promised to seek revenge.

Chris Jericho, Sammy Guevara & Jake Hager AEW Dynamite Results: Malakai Black costs Jon Moxley; Omega clinches #1 seedMalakai Black has only been in AEW for a few weeks, but he's already made a tremendous impact and created more enemies than anyone could have expected. After Kenny Omega defeated Miro in an awesome match and clinched the #1 seed, it meant that "Hangman" Adam Page had clinched the #2 seed no matter what happened, since he held victories over both Moxley and Rhodes. The main event had now become pivotal in that the winner would take the #3 seed and remain in the top 3. In the waning moments of the show, Jon Moxley had outlasted everything Rhodes threw at him and was about to put the American Nightmare away...until Malakai Black appeared in the ring. Appearing as if from thin air, Black stood behind Jon Moxley as the crowd went wild. When Moxley felt his presence and spun around, Black nailed Moxley with a lightning-quick Black Mass that nearly took Moxley's head off. The referee was distracted by Eddie Kingston, who had jumped on the apron to try and get the ref's attention, but it backfired as Moxley was knocked out cold. Then, as Cody Rhodes climbed back to his feet, he was met with the same fate as Moxley, although this time the referee had turned around and saw the whole thing. Rhodes was kicked into next week, but also in the #3 seed, as the referee called for the bell and disqualified Jon Moxley for outside interference. The crowd was incessant but Malakai Black couldn't have cared less. He was there to inflict as much pain on Cody Rhodes as possible, and after easily fighting off Eddie Kingston, Black did just that, closing out the show with a vicious beatdown on Rhodes and sitting cross-legged in the ring as the lights went out.

Ace Austin NWA/IMPACT PowerrrPact Results: New Champions, Tons of Surprises, Resurgence PreviewThe NWA/IMPACT coalition brought it home over the past 24 hours and if you missed out on these shows you missed out on a lot. Night 1 kicked off in the NWA Arena in Atlanta, and right out the gate there were surprises. Violent By Design curtain jerked and issued an open challenge to start the show, a challenge that was answered by the deadly alliance of Homicide, Brody King & AEW's Eddie Kingston. The trio had a history of having each other's backs in NWA and ROH, and they were once again reunited for a hard-hitting opening match that blew fans away. Two new champions were also crowned on Night 1 as Kamille took the world by surprise and defeated Serena Deeb for the NWA World Women's Championship (with some help from Nick Aldis) and Chris Adonis laid down an open challenge for the NWA National Heavweight Championship that was answered by (and won by) NJPW's Minoru Suzuki. Kaze Ni Nare echoed through the arena and when it was all said and done, Adonis was laid out and Suzuki had claimed NWA's second-most-coveted prize just days before inter-promotional matches for Wrestling World War are set to start. Then the Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo pulled off a win over the undefeated Thunder Rosa, forcing a tie-breaker match on Night 2. Kiera Hogan would go on to win that match, putting her in the top half of the women's division. Another tie-breaker would take place on Night 2 thanks to Josh Alexander putting away Ace Austin in the opening match. Austin had to rest up and get back in the ring for the main event against Matt Silva, Nick Aldis and Moose in a Fatal Fourway match to determine the #2 seed on the men's side. Nick Aldis cheated his way to victory (with some key distractions by the new NWA World Women's Champion Kamille) by pinning Ace Austin who went from being on top of the world to down and out in a matter of hours. Night 2 had some more surprises as we crowned new NWA Tag Team Champions. Fed up with how his summer had gone, Aron Stevens convinced JR Kratos to defend the titles with him in an open challenge that was answered by FTR. Returning to action in a surprisingly short amount of time after suffering a gruesome arm injury, Cash Wheeler had his arm heavily bandaged, which Stevens and Kratos targeted but were unsuccessful in putting FTR away. The duo was emotional after the match and said in a post-match interview that winning these titles meant more to them than any titles they had won prior, and would bring them back to prominence as fighting champions. Both shows had tons more action and lots of surprises, and are available on both YouTube Premium and FITE TV.

Nyla Rose Friday Recap: Hangman Page gets the win; Roman Reigns goes undefeatedA big night in Wrestling World War and a big night for wrestling fans around the world. The night kicked off on Smackdown that was generally uneventful until Cesaro pulled off a surprise win over Apollo Crews and captured the Intercontinental title. The fans went wild as Cesaro secured just his second major singles title since joining the company in 2011, and since dropping the United States title over 8 years ago. Then things went back to the status quo as Roman Reigns defeated AJ Styles to stay undefeated in the Wrestling World War round robin in what was a disappointing match. The show went from the highest of highs to lowest of lows as the fans could barely muster boos for the predictable outcome. This loss by Styles threw a wrench into things, however, as he falls to 6-3 in a tie with Finn Balor. However, Balor, who inherited Bray Wyatt's record (who inherited Braun Strowman's record) did not lose to Styles earlier in the tournament. Bray Wyatt did. And Balor was sure to let us know via twitter that he felt slighted having not lost to Styles yet was still pushed from 3rd to 4th position. Then all eyes turned to the premiere of AEW Rampage that had several huge moments as AEW's final 3 WWW round robin matches took place. Dr Britt Baker made her hometown return in style, defeating Nyla Rose and kicking off the show with one of the hottest crowds AEW has seen since it's inception. Then Eddie Kingston pulled off a win over Chris Jericho, only his 2nd in the round robin, and with the help of MJF & Wardlow, who attacked Jericho while the referee was down. Not one to look a gift horse in the mouth, Kingston connected with a spinning backfist while Mox tosses the lifeless referee back into the ring to make the 3-count. Finally the night ended with a massive main event and one for the ages. Accompanied by The Dark Order, "Hangman" Adam Page finally defeated Kenny Omega in singles competition, pinning him and ruining his undefeated run. The match was wild and so were the fans, and when it was all said and done, The Dark Order managed to thwart all The Elite's tricks and Page got the massive victory. With this win, Adam Page clinches the 2nd seed on Team AEW, but all that mattered to him was getting that pinfall victory and proving that he can do what needs to be done to become AEW Champion.

El Desperado Los Ingobernables de Japon (Shingo Takagi, Tetsuya Naito, SANADA & BUSHI) def. Bullet Club (EVIL, Yujiro Takahashi, Dick Togo & Gedo) Summer Struggle News: Kota Ibushi remains undefeated in EPIC matchWhat started out as a typical nothing NJPW house show in Nagano, Japan ended with the final match in the Wrestling World War round robin being in contention for Match of the Year. All eyes were on the main event as Kota Ibushi and Shinsuke Nakamura finally met in the ring after Nakamura had some harsh words for Ibushi upon returning to NJPW. To add to the drama, neither man had lost a round robin match yet, and the winner would not only take the #1 seed, but join Roman Reigns in being the only other undefeated person in Wrestling World War's round robin tournament. The time limit for the match was lifted and there were no count outs as there had to be a clear winner and could not end in a draw. The match would only end when one person was pinned or submitted, or could not continue and had to forfeit. After battling for a gruelling 65 minutes, it became clear that wasn't going to happen, and Red Shoes had a long conversation with the timekeeper, voicing his concern for the safety of both men as they lay motionless in the ring. Fortunately for all involved, Kota Ibushi managed to finally put Nakamura away by busting out the Super Phoenix-Plex followed by a Kamigoye that looked like it caved in Nakamura's skull. Both men had to be tended to for several minutes after the match and when they finally were able to leave the ring they received tremendous applause from the crowd. What a way to end the round robin. Inter-promotional matches start any day now, so now the real fun begins.

BREAKING: Adam Cole is #AllEliteWell this throws a wrench in things. In a shocking turn of events, Adam Cole allowed his WWE contract to expire and immediately joined All Elite Wrestling. Adam Cole appeared on AEW television just days after his contract expired, and reunited with The Elite. Cole's decision to join AEW effectively turns the wrestling world on its head. Cole re-joined The Elite after 4 years away, and was immediately welcomed back to the group, seemingly reviving the Super Kliq with a kiss on his cheeks from The Young Bucks. This changes the upcoming Wrestling World War inter-promotional matches as well, as Adam Cole was set to be in a Fatal Fourway match representing Team WWE this week. Cole finished the round robin ranking matches at 9th overall on Team WWE, and was going to face AEW's Eddie Kingston, NJPW's KENTA and NWA/Impact's TJP to decide who would move on to the final 32 and compete in the men's division elimination tournament to crown the first Wrestling World War Champion. Now that Cole is no longer representing the WWE, it is anyone's guess what will happen with that match. Is Cole still in? Is the match now a Triple Threat? Time will tell. This is especially shocking as recent rumours surrounding CM Punk and current free agent Daniel Bryan are heating up, and insiders are speculating that these two men will have some involvement with Wrestling World War. More on that as it develops.

Wrestling World War Night 1 Results: Sami Zayn appears, Japan shines, Rose wins & MoreNight 1 of Wrestling World War was one heck of a kick-off show, and there is much to unpack before Night 2 takes place this evening. The show opened with WWE superstar Sami Zayn protesting the main event, stating that he should have been inserted into the match in place of Adam Cole. Zayn said that Cole walking out on the company was cowardly and disgusting, and the fact that Zayn was overlooked more than once when other WWE superstars were released is unfair. Zayn's protest started outside the stadium before the show and moved inside, eventually culminating with Zayn storming the ring before the main event and refusing to leave, taking the show hostage... ..and that's when Adam Cole (baybay) made his entrance and squared off with Zayn, and after a short tirade by Sami, Cole superkicked his head off and sent him packing so the main event could happen. Zayn wasn't the only one that had a rough night. His long-time friend Kevin Owens was eliminated from the Wrestling World War tournament alongside Aron Stevens, as the #8 Seed Tag Team Match saw Christian Cage & Tetsuya Naito move on to the round of 32. Cage and Naito worked well as a team while Owens tried to do everything himself, not instilling any faith in his partner. After being eliminated, Owens hit a Pop Up Powerbomb on Stevens for good measure. Bullet Club had a great night as Jay White retained his NEVER Openweight title and KENTA won the main event, moving on to the round of 32. Matt Riddle and Cesaro picked up victories for Team WWE, as Riddle won the #10 Seed Fatal Fourway and moved on, while Cesaro met old rival Miro in the ring in a non-title Exhibition match that arguably stole the whole show. Cesaro is the first person to defeat Miro in singles competition in over a year. And in possibly the biggest moment of the tournament so far, Nyla Rose defeated Rhea Ripley, giving AEW a massive win and bragging rights, and was easily the biggest win of Rose's career. Ripley was honorable enough to raise Rose's arm after the match, and Rose received a massive pop for the win. Overall it was a great first show and Night 2 should be nothing short of amazing. WWW Night 2: Kill Steen Kill, Brackets Revealed, Wild Battle Royale & MoreThe fallout from Bragging Rights is going to be astronomical, and it's kind of hard to believe that Wrestling World War is just getting started. Night 2 of the weeks-long event had some crazy twists and turns, but none crazier than Kevin Owens...sorry, Kevin Steen, revoking his WWE namesake and cutting a scathing promo on the company that made him a household name.It started in the semi-main event when Kevin Owens fell to AEW's Eddie Kingston in a barnburner of a match. These two tried to straight up kill one another but Kingston got the win and Owens was left a crumpled mess in the ring, clearly dealing with some kind of internal struggle. Owens had a poor showing in the WWW Round Robin and was eliminated in the play-ins last night, falling in the #8 Seed Tag Team match to Christian Cage & Tetsuya Naito. Owens didn't want to go out like that, so he requested this match against his old friend before leaving Wrestling World War, but things didn't go his way again, and he had some reflecting to do. The reflecting didn't take long, because in the night's main event just a few minutes later, Kevin Owens got involved as The Super Kliq beat the living hell out of Sami Zayn. Zayn was victorious in his match against Adam Cole, but before he could even take a moment to celebrate, The Young Bucks were on him like hungry lions on a wounded gazelle. The Super Kliq poured into Zayn, making an example of him, then Kevin Owens/Steen came to the rescue. For a moment the crowd thought that Mount Rushmore was about to reunite, but Owens saw his broken and best friend lying before him, the one person that has been at his side since the very beginning, and knew what he had to do. Owens took apart Adam Cole & The Young Bucks until they high-tailed it up the ramp, and Owens grabbed a microphone, letting the world know that Kevin Steen was back, and alive and well. -Kevin Steen "I can't go back there. I WON'T go back there. I spent the best years of my life selling out, and for what? I'm right back where I started and they couldn't care less. They chewed me up and spit me out, and I have to live with that, but no more! I've seen what is on the other side and Kevin Steen is here to stay!" Steen raised a dumbfounded Sami Zayn's arm as Night 2 came to a close. Wrestling World WarNight 2 - "Bragging Rights"FULL RESULTSSami Zayn def. Adam Cole Eddie Kingston def. WWW Nights 3 & 4: Iconic Showdown, Bullet Club Drama, Early Upsets & MoreWrestling World War may have officially kicked off last week, but it feels like the official kick off just happened in California with recent events. The Round of 32 in the men's division and The Round of 24 in the women's division officially began on Night 3 in San Jose, CA, where for the very first time, every single Wrestling World War participant was present in the same building. History was made as superstars from WWE, AEW, NJPW, STARDOM, NWA & IMPACT all stood in the same building, breathing the same air, wanting the same prize: to be the Wrestling World War Champion. Night 3 was quite the kick off, airing simultaneously on Peacock, Fite TV and NJPW World, where millions of fans tuned in to the jam-packed SAP Center. The show opened with the #1 overall-ranked Roman Reigns making quick work of last place Matt Riddle. Reigns barely even acknowledged the fans in attendance, clearly expecting that they acknowledge him. Paul Heyman barely had time to show off the WWE Universal Championship before Reigns was done. Night 3 also saw arguably the first upset in the men's division as #25-ranked Miro defeated #8-ranked Nick Aldis, ending his quest for the WWW trophy in the first round. Aldis was beside himself after the defeat, vowing that he would have revenge on God's Favourite Champion. Aldis stated that he held the NWA title for over 1,000 days, the 5th person ever to do so, and that Miro was a flash in the pan champion who had to take a demotion to make something of himself. On the women's side there were two upsets as hometown hero Bayley defeated Serena Deeb and #15-ranked Deonna Purrazzo took down #10-ranked Thea Trinidad, where the latter took her loss personally and attacked Purrazzo backstage, slamming her shoulder in a doorway and inuring her in the process. The main event in San Jose was a Bullet Club showdown for the ages, and arguably the most anticipated match of the first round. Bullet Club founder Finn Balor faced off against current Bullet Club leader and NEVER Openweight Champion Jay White. The crowd was red hot and when it was all said and done, there would be no upset tonight as Balor took White down in an epic battle for the ages. With the victory, Balor not only advances to the 2nd round, but under NJPW rules has earned a shot at the NEVER Openweight Championship by pinning the reigning champion. White appeared to agree to the match, as the two men closed the show by shaking hands and "too sweet" saluting each other. ... Night 4 took place at the Chase Center in San Francisco, and while the drama was few and far between, the show ended with one of the most historic and iconic moments in wrestling history. The Women's Division #1 Becky Lynch opened the show by beating the living hell out of last-ranked Tenille Dashwood, sending her packing. Lynch received a tremendous ovation, as did her husband, #27 Seth Rollins, although he fell in his match against #6-ranked Drew McIntyre. The match of the night was a bit of a shocker, considering the main event, depending on who you ask, as "Hangman" Adam Page defeated Tetsuya Naito in an absolute barn burner. With no time limits in the elimination matches, Page and Naito went well over 45 minutes, neither man refusing to go out in the first round. But Page showed that he's come a looooong way since leaving NJPW, and after defeating one of Japan's absolute best, he may be a lot of fans' dark horse going forward. Then the night's main event was a strong-style, stiff-as-fuck slugfest between #16-ranked Kazuchika Okada and #17-ranked WALTER. Yet another dream match of epic proportions, Okada and WALTER did everything in their power to kill one another, rivaling Page and Naito's absolute clinic earlier in the evening. When it was all said and done, Okada managed to show why he is one of the world's very best, outlasting WALTER's onslaught and defeating him. Then, as an exhausted Okada stood victorious in the ring, The Head of the Table entered the Chase Center to an incredible ovation... We left Night 4 with a staredown for the ages. WWW Night 5 - "Ladies Night"The first round matches of Wrestling World War came to an end in Seattle, and it was the ladies that showed us a good time this time around. Six of ten matches belonged to the women tonight and they made every last moment count. Some of the world's biggest male stars squared off in the ring, however the women made sure they stole the show. It kicked off with Sasha Banks shaking off her star struck fandom to take down Utami Hayashishita, the World of STARDOM Champion. This was a highly anticipated match up as Utami had high hopes for putting the Japanese women on the map, being the most decorated wrestler of the bunch, but Sasha Banks put an end to it in Round 1. Japan would not go down without a fight, however, as the True Ace Hiroshi Tanahashi put away Ace Austin, and Hikaru Shida defeated Canada's dark angel Rosemary. Also, surprising crowd-favourite Giulia defeated Kiera Hogan in an all-out slug fest. Then the night concluded with 4 massive match-ups, two of which ended with unexpected results. Rhea Ripley upset Bianca Belair, sending her home in the first round to the shock of the audience. Then "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes upset the IWGP Heavyweight Champion Shingo Takagi, defeating him in an insane match, and under NJPW rules, Cody has earned himself a shot at the IWGP title. Then the dual main event kicked off with a rematch between Kenny Omega and Christian Cage. This was the official unofficial rubber match between the two. Christian had defeated Omega for the Impact World Championship in their first meeting, then Omega defended the AEW Championship against Christian at the historic All Out PPV. Now, they would face one more time, and Omega silenced the doubters by defeated Christian once and for all, sending him packing in the first round. Then the main event saw Omega's best friend and Golden Lover, #2-ranked Kota Ibushi against long-time rival KENTA. The match was as stiff and destructive as you'd expect, but when it was all said and done, the undefeated Ibushi remained so. As the show came to a close, the fans chanted for Omega to join his friend in the ring for a staredown, but Omega did not show, and Ibushi sent the Seattle fans home alone. WWW Night 6 - El Generico Returns, Lance Storm gets one last match, & MoreWrestling World War cruised across the border into Vancouver, British Columbia, and the sold out BC Place was rocking hard all night as only a crazed crowd of Canadians could. The first live wrestling show in Canada in nearly 2 years was as electric as you'd expect, and even though this evening's event was packed with fan service, it didn't feel that way as the crowd and wrestlers in the ring showed the world how much wrestling means to the Great White North. The open-air stadium was the perfect backdrop for the event, and the crisp autumn evening on Canada's west coast was anything but cold as Adam Cole (baybay) kicked off the show with possibly the loudest entrance of his career. Even though Cole beat Canada's Christian Cage, the fans were still rabid and wild as he got the 3-count. That carried over to the following match as Vancouver's own Bollywood Boyz made their in-ring return and defeated 2.0 to an insane pop. The brothers embraced with tears in their eyes as they got the biggest win of their careers, then received an even louder pop as Tony Khan emerged from the back and handed The Bollywood Boyz a 1-year AEW contract. Then we dove into the nitty gritty and Round 2 of Wrestling World War kicked off. Charlotte made her grand entrance and kicked the living shit out of loud-mouth Deonna Purrazzo, Canada's own Kenny Omega defeated Minoru Suzuki (even though he made a point to be introduced from NOOOOOORTH CAROLINA), AJ Styles got a pop even though he beat Canada's own Josh Alexander in an "upset", and Dr. Britt Baker defeated Nyla Rose once again to another big pop. Then the fan service continued with two amazing matches. Chris Jericho issued an open challenge that was answered by none other than Lance Storm, who said he had one match left in him and couldn't think of a better time to cash it in than now. Jericho got the win, but it didn't matter, because the two men stood tall together in the ring to a huge ovation. Then the main event saw Kevin Steen stay true to his word, and the return of his old tag team partner, fresh from the orphanages of Mexico, El Generico returned to Steen's side and faced off against The Young Bucks. The match was an absolute dream in the making, and although these teams had fought many times before, this one felt that much more special, and the hometown heroes got the win and closed the show with red fireworks and another standing ovation. Wrestling World War crosses back into the United States for a 2-night stint in Las Vegas, where Round 2 will surely contain more surprises, including some intense dream matches. But then WWW heads back north and hits Calgary, the Stampede grounds, and Winnipeg, home of Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho, before venturing back south. There's no telling what is in store in the coming days, and you won't want to miss a second. Wrestling World War Night 6 - Vancouver, BC, Canada

Wrestling World War Night 7: Championship Showdown IncomingCalgary, Alberta, Canada is one of the most historic wrestling grounds on the planet. And it was rather fitting that after several years of next to no action on the Stampede Grounds, the crowd was treated to one of the most significant nights in wrestling history. The evening was main-evented by one of the biggest matches of all-time, a once in a lifetime match between Roman Reigns and Kazuchika Okada. The bout was stiff and brutal and everything everyone had hoped for. It ended when Roman Reigns did the unthinkable and kicked out of The Rainmaker, shocking Okada and giving himself enough of a window to hit not one, not two, but three Spears to advance in the tournament. Reigns looked to make a statement after his match, and showed Okada zero respect as The Usos stormed the ring and began beating Okada senseless. With no one from CHAOS here to help, Okada was on his own and being shown the ultimate disrespect...until an old adversary had seen enough. AEW Champion Kenny Omega dashed to the ring to a tremendous pop and chased off Reigns and his family, saving Okada and closing the show with an absolutely incredible moment as the two men embraced in the centre of the Saddledome and threw the fans into a frenzy. Omega will fight next in his hometown of Winnipeg, taking on Drew McIntyre who defeated Matt Silva earlier in the evening. After tonight, the stage is set for one hell of a bout should Omega and Reigns both continue to advance. The two men finished #1 and #2 overall, so they can't meet one-on-one unless they both advance to the finals, and it definitely looks like things are headed that direction. The rest of the results from Calgary are posted below: WWW Night 7 Results#1 Roman Reigns def. #16 Kazuchika Okada #8 Hikaru Shida def. #21 Sasha Banks #6 Drew McIntyre def. #11 Matt Silva #7 Adam Page def. #10 Cody Rhodes #25 Miro def. #9 Finn Balor #1 Becky Lynch def. #7 Tam Nakano Natalya & Tamina def. Christian Cage, KENTA & Eric Young Wrestling World War Night 8: Round 3 is set, AEW makes a statementWrestling World War zipped up Highway 2 in Alberta for a show at Rogers Place, finishing off Round 2 and opening up a whole new can of worms along the way. A cold wind blew threw Alberta's capital city and reminded us that winter was coming, but before summer can give it's final farewell, The Elite made a statement and showed the rest of the world that AEW was not going quietly into the long night. After Kenny Omega assisted long-time rival Kazuchika Okada in Calgary, The Elite made a similar move, although at the expense of one of their own...sort of...not really...stay with me here. Kota Ibushi defeated Hiroshi Tanahashi in an all-NJPW 2nd round bout that went the distance, neither man wanting to be sent home this early. After Ibushi got the win, he was confronted by "Hangman" Adam Page, his round 3 opponent. The northern Alberta fans ate it up, chanting for Cowboy Shit as Page squared off with Ibushi. However, The Elite took exception, and stormed the ring, chasing Adam Page off and embracing Kota Ibushi as one of their own, and for the first time in over 2 years, Kenny Omega and Kota Ibushi stood in the ring, together. However, things did not go how anyone expected. The Golden Lovers stood across the ring from one another, Omega all smiles and arms open for an embrace, however Ibushi did not accept. Rather than hug his best friend and companion, Ibushi left the ring, leaving Omega and the rest of The Elite behind. Omega took offence, chasing Ibushi down and grabbing him by the arm, and for a second Ibushi looked like he might strike Omega, but he resisted the urge and simply walked away, leaving Kenny Omega with plenty to consider. If Kota Ibushi and Kenny Omega win their next matches, they will face off in the men's quarter finals, and I think everyone is quietly hoping that is exactly what will happen. I'm finishing this shit. WWW Night 9: Hangman Spoils It All, Becky & Charlotte Throw HeatShit got real in blistery Winnipeg tonight and if you're headed to the final Canadian show in Toronto tomorrow night, you're gonna want to rethink everything you were expecting. No, Kenny Omega will not be facing Kota Ibushi. And no, the women's division is not nearly as predictable as you thought it was. Let's just start at the beginning. Underrated match-up of the tournament happened in Winnipeg with little fanfare, as AJ Styles def. Shinsuke Nakamura in a rematch that many wrestling purists have been waiting years for (no, their WWE matches don't count). In a throwback to their match at Wrestle Kingdom 10, Shinsuke Nakamura was handed his first loss since leaving the WWE and would have to wait even longer for another shot at Kota Ibushi. Speaking of, Ibushi did not advance either, losing to "Hangman" Adam Page in what many are calling the upset of the tournament. Everyone decided to assume that Kenny Omega vs Kota Ibushi was inevitable, but we don't always get what we want, and tonight that was as apparent as ever. Ibushi fell to Page in an incredible match up, and even Ibushi couldn't believe it. And one of the biggest surprises of the night..no, not Becky defeating Charlotte, but more how she did it. It's been no secret that these two haven't been getting along lately, or possibly ever, and tonight they squared off in arguably the biggest match of their careers, and they made sure to leave it all on the table. Becky got the win, but it was a shoot fight if there's ever been one. The first few minutes were relatively tame, but after Charlotte caught Becky in the chin with a stiff uppercut, it was game on from there. It was unlike any match ever seen before, and the two biggest female names in the business today let loose, punching the absolute shit out of one another. Technique and skill took a backseat and the match was basically one big slugfest until Becky got the win by referee stoppage. There's gonna be more to come on that one, I'm sure. Toronto is shaping up to be one hell of a show after the events in Winnipeg, and Wrestling World War promises to leave Canada with one hell of a bang. WWW Night 10: O, Canada!Wrestling World War heads back south of the border but not before leaving The Great White North with a night to remember for ages. The 3rd round of the tournament came to an end and now the stage is set for what will be some incredible evenings to bring Wrestling World War home and crown a men's and women's champion. The night kicked off with the final match of Round 3 for the men and saw #1 ranked Roman Reigns narrowly defeat Miro. God's Favourite Champion may have been low in the ranks coming out of the round robin, but the ranks were deceiving, at least in Miro's case. He made a great run this tournament and gave Reigns his toughest challenge yet, even looking like he was going to take the match when he locked Reigns in Game Over. Somehow Reigns managed to stay alive and free his legs, giving himself just enough leverage to flip over Miro and touch the ropes. Miro tried to end things with a Machka Kick but Reigns ducked it, then hit a Superman Punch and a Spear for the win. Then the women's division took over and arguably the match of the night between Hikaru Shida and Thunder Rosa took place next. When the dust had settled and enough blood had been spilled, Thunder Rosa took the victory and got a massive pop as she punched her ticket to the women's final. The next match ended in "D.M.D." chants and it was Dr. Britt Baker defeating Bayley in another excellent bout. The women's final is now set and will take place at the final show in New York City next weekend. The men's semi-finals are also set and will take place in Philadelphia before the finals happen, also in NYC. The main event of the evening gave the Canadian fans one last send off with an incredible 8-man tag team match. Kevin Steen and El Generico wanted one last shot at The Super Elite before going their separate ways, but could not find partners that were willing to step up with them. That's when an old friend stood up and joined them, and brought a brother along for the fight.... Edge & Christian joined Kevin Steen & El Generico and kicked The Super Elite all over downtown Toronto to the roar of the crowd. After a huge ovation for the four hometown heroes, Omega found himself alone in the ring with Don Callis, abandoned by his friends, and ripe for the picking. That's when Roman Reigns & Paul Heyman entered, and the two champions and two sleazy managers closed the show while once again giving us a preview of the finals that everyone is hoping for. Kenny Omega had his semi-finals spoiled by Adam Page, and looks to exact revenge on him for taking his Golden Lovers reunion away. In the other bracket, it's an all-WWE semi-finals after AJ Styles upset Shinsuke Nakamura and will face off with the Universal Champion, Roman Reigns.WWW Night 10 ResultsKevin Steen, El Generico, Edge & Christian def. WWW Night 11 Results: Becky Lynch wins WWW Women's Championship; Men's Finals SetThe Man. The Mom. The first ever WWW Women's Champion. Becky Lynch has bested the best of the best and claimed the throne as the first ever Wrestling World War Women's Champion. The event rolled back into the US of A and landed in Philadelphia, where Becky Lynch faced off in the finals against AEW's Thunder Rosa and AEW's Women's Champion, Dr. Britt Baker (D..M..D). The triple threat match was one for the ages and the crowd was red hot for all three women. One of those rare moments where there was no heel, no face, just three of the very best the sport has to offer doing battle over a grand prize...well, until the end of the match, anyway. No stranger to one another, and definitely understanding the gravity of this match, Thunder Rosa and Dr. Britt Baker met beforehand. Cameras caught them meeting in the backstage area moments before the match and shaking hands, seemingly coming to some kind of agreement. It became obvious what the conversation was about early in the match as Rosa and Baker both immediately took out Becky Lynch, ganging up on and decimating her before turning their sites on one another. Lynch tried to re-enter the match and capitalize a few times, however Rosa and/or Britt would take her out as soon as they could. Lynch finally saw an opening late in the match and showed all her cards, isolating Thunder Rosa in the ring after Rosa hit a Fire Thunder Driver on Britt, but Britt rolled out of the ring before Rosa could cover. The attack was swift and powerful, and Lynch looked like she had the match won, hitting a Manhandle Slam and locking Rosa in the Dis-Arm-Her. However Rosa was pulled to the ropes by Dr Baker, who then slumped back to the floor, still hurt and dazed. Lynch then attempted another Dis-Arm-Her, but Rosa broke free, hopping to her feet and dropping Becky Lynch with a La Rosa out of nowhere and covering. Thunder Rosa was going to be the first WWW Women's Cha-NO! Again Dr Baker got to her feet and this time put Becky Lynch's leg on the ropes! The fans immediately turned, booing Baker as she slid into the ring and pounced on Rosa, beating her senseless. Unable to comprehend the betrayal, Rosa was at Baker's mercy, and before long she was locked in the Lock Jaw! Baker had the match won, however before Rosa tapped out, Lynch broke up the submission, then dropped Rosa with a Manhandle Slam and immediately locked in the Dis-Arm-Her. Rosa was in a daze, her neck and head throbbing, unable to breathe from being trapped in the Lock Jaw, and so disoriented she couldn't get her bearings before Britt Baker tapped and handed Becky Lynch the win! In a matter of seconds, Thunder Rosa went from having the match won, to being betrayed, to almost tapping and being unable to break the final submission of the match. And she let Baker know it before leaving the ring. If you thought there was bad blood between these two women before, you ain't seen nothing yet. Rosa respected Lynch's victory, allowing her to celebrate, but it was clear that she was not done with either woman, not by a longshot. On the men's side of things, there were no surprises. Roman Reigns & Kenny Omega will square off in the Men's finals tomorrow night in Chicago. Reigns and AJ Styles beat the hell out of each other but The Head of the Table was victorious once again, and on the other side, Omega once again defeated Adam Page in singles action. Page, still unable to get over that hump of beating his former tag partner one-on-one, was hard on himself after the match, as expected. But I think if you asked anyone, this is the finals they were hoping for, whether the fans wanted Page to get the win or not. Two shows remaining, the final show happening at Madison Square Garden to close out the event once both champions are crowned. But get ready, Chicago. Tomorrow night is going to be one for the history books. Not gonna lie guys I've just been phoning it in.
Kenny Omega beats Roman Reigns in an "upset."
Because it's in Chicago, CM Punk, Bryan Danielson and Samoa Joe show up and form "The Ring of Honor."
They challenge any 3 of the best of the best of the best to a six-man tag match in NYC.
CM Punk, Bryan Danielson & Samoa Joe vs. Kenny Omega, Roman Reigns & Kazuchika Okada.
A bunch of other shit happens or whatever.
I'm just not feeling it anymore because AEW is making me look stupid and as much as I tried to make this shit awesome, real life has just been more awesome and more believable so fuck it.
I was going to take the ROH thing somewhere but real life ROH folded so whatever. I don't care. Maybe I'll start another fed soon and go from there. Whatever. /orangecassidy
