Probably not however there may be piling on at this point. Not that it matters really if it’s 16 or 22.

One thing about the Watson thing is I’m a little dismayed about how easy something like that would be to pull off. I doubt they have any protection against these kind of attacks.

More lawsuits filed against Watson today. One describes in detail how he forced a massage therapist to blow him and jerked off in front of her when she resisted. It's pretty fucking graphic and tough to read.

His career is over.

I don't mean to minimise what he's done, because it's obviously terrible and completely unacceptable - but unless Watson goes to jail for a significant time (which is pretty unlikely?) I doubt this is career ending.

People will bring up Ray Rice but he was declining as a player, and leaked Steve Biscotti's texts to make him look bad which (sadly) was probably a bigger black mark against him than the DV). Watson is a top-3 quarterback, someone will be prepared to take the PR hit to have him play for them.

Adoree Jackson was someone on my radar but I didn’t think he’d go for that much or that long ... high potential signing but some risk too.

Yeah, there are always going to be those headcases who go in to bat for these guys. Right now there are Houston fans on Twitter who think this is a conspiracy to remove Watson from the league rather than be forced into trading him.

Antonio Brown is a perfect example of why I don't think Watson will miss much time from his career. It's a very similar situation (albeit accusations from two women rather than twelve) regarding sexual assault of trainers/masseuses but no one really cares about what he did now. There will always be QBs like Brady and Wilson who want to play with him because he's good at football - and teams that are more than willing to take him on. And Watson is even more valuable.

Amazing that Dabo Sweeney hasn't spoken about any of this or DeAndre Hopkins, his ex Clemson alum and Texan teammate. I do think Watson was probably given the golden keys by McNair to do whatever and whenever but once he bit the hand that fed, these came with the territory. I doubt McNair or any of the high executives in Houston didn't know about any of the massage stuff but it was until Watson spoke against the team that it became prevalent. Feels like a young 20 something year old kid fell into a trap and did something stupid.

Jameis Winston did the same thing with the uber driver(Forget stealing the crab cakes in a deli) and was able to serve suspension and be that. Watson may be suspended for some time but that's about it.

I guarantee if Watson stopped his trade request that McNair works out a deal and everything is dropped.

Big Ben was able to salvage his career despite the rape allegation, Watson will get to do so too. The late Kobe Bryant was also able to make it out of Denver too.

Talent prevails at the end of the day. I just don't think the bridge to Houston is salvageable. Texans may just void his contract altogether and Watson will roll with Denver or New England(Who's owner can emphasize with Watson as much as anybody).

Dude blew it with that mega deal he signed though and the endorsements either way, he's lost a lot of money regardless of innocence. Should never have this many message therapists and have consensual sex knowing his standing & worth.

If I put my tin foil hat on, I wonder if any of this is linked to his desire to leave the Texans. I don't doubt that Easterby is a problem, but Watson signed a six year contract when Easterby was already sinking his claws into the Texans, so it does make you wonder.
