I'm subscribed to a Facebook group called Retrontario, and they post stuff from the 70s-90s that people who grew up in Ontario, Canada would remember. I love it. They posted this today and it got me thinking: what's your rare/interesting wrestling memorabilia that you have, or did have? /?sfnsn=mo

Cool topic. -A poetry-laden frisbee Lanny Poffo threw into the crowd during a West Virginia WWF show some time in the 80s. -About a dozen wrestling shirts... {Spoiler}The Rock (Brahma Bull) Taz (ECW) Taz (WWF) RVD 4:20 (ECW) ECF'nW Matt Hardy: Version 1 Jeff Jarrett (TNA) Christopher Daniels Teddy Hart -Hogan vs. Andre WM III shirt in the style of a poster and a rather generic Wrestlemania shirt. Both originally belonged to my brother.
-About 50 wrestling magazines. The vast majority of them between 95-98. -Most of the 80s WWF LJN figures & accessories -Over 100 wrestling tapes. Probably closer to 200. + around 20 DVDs -2 programs- 1987 WWF house show and 1996 WWF house show -Once had about 50 ticket stubs from shows I attended but they disappeared years ago -Autographs from Yokozuna, Nikolai Volkoff, Al Snow, and the late, great Hack Myers -A few books- Foley's first two, Rock's, Lawler's, Flair's, Bret's, George Napolitano's Pictorial History of Wrestling, maybe a handful of others. -That looks like a lot but it really isn't. Most of it is in deep storage. And it pales in comparison to the collection my old friend from the 90s, the middle of the three brothers, has accumulated. His house is basically a sports memorabilia museum and he had a whole room dedicated to just wrestling stuff when I last visited in September. He has autographs galore, belts, official chairs from various pay per views which is apparently a thing, shirts, and a bunch of ticket stubs including a Wrestlemania or two. Yet his original pride and joy, a Razor Ramon foam finger, is sadly no more.

They posted this today and it got me thinking: what's your rare/interesting wrestling memorabilia that you have, or did have? /?sfnsn=mo Yes!!!, I had those Hostess stickers all over my lunchboxes back in the day, great find. They also had Hostess baseball stickers too. Most of my stuff like house show programs and magazines got lost during my big move in 2003 to Saskatoon. This framed photo though would be my most prized piece of memorabilia. The signatures were printed on the photo if you are wondering. Retro Ontario has a youtube channel (along with retro Winnipeg and even Retro Regina I believe) which I mostly use to watch old commercials from Canadian TV. Plus they have old clips from Fred Penner, Raccoons and other old kids stuff from the 80's. Retro Regina has old clips of Sports Journal and other local Sask ads from the 80's and 90's, always good for a nostalgia trip.

I knew you guys would have some cool shit. I don't have anything crazy cool, just some Stone Cold memorabilia from the late 90s and Wrestlemania X8, t-shirts and the like. I did have this in the back window of my black pickup truck in high school though: It's a fucking miracle that I had a girlfriend.

I have a pretty decent Madison Rayne collection (she counts as wrestling history now unfortunately! 😞) from my time as a megafan. I've got a couple of her ring gears - the one she wore at Victory Road 2010 against Angelina Love, and another from when she was Shimmer tag team champion - plus a bunch of signed 8x10s and trading cards.

New Volume when?

I have an X-Pac autograph somewhere. Echo was DAGreatest said about him being one of the nicest dudes in the world.
Just popping in to say too that A&E has a new show about the boys going around and finding their own memorabilia. Foley was the first episode and went and found an OG Mr. Socko , Cactus Jack flannel and 1/2 original Mankind vests.
It’s fun , you get to see the worth and story behind these specific pieces but also get to see some incredible wrestling collections.

I'm looking forward to Ric Flair's quest for the black and white butterfly robe that he wore frequently in the WWF, especially for the 1992 Royal Rumble. Jerry Lawler, Kane and Undertaker(hunting for stuff together) also have episodes from what I've seen.

That first guy where Mick got Socko back had a really fun collection and the last one in the basement with the vest had a killer one.

I bought a Lawler-Kauffman shirt from prowrestlingtees a few months back and got their grab bag of random memorabilia, the only two real keepers being a Roddy Piper keychain and a RepoMan Enamel pin. My wife collects horror movie enamel pins so I briefly considered my own collection but then moved on.
I have never been much of a collector, which is probably why I had the opposite reaction of you guys to the Foley episode of that A&E show. The guy had a Foley flannel in box somewhere and somehow leveraged that into a way better item (the gimmicked barbed wire board from Royal Rumble 01) a tour of the mythical warehouse and a ton of money. Blech that guy.
The other two that were like “holy shit I’m spending time with Mick Foley? Winning.” And made easy deals were much cooler.
