pretty simple thread just rank the mainstream wrestling companies by the quality of their respective women's divisions .
For me it works out like this
1. WWE- WWE is kind of #1 by default at this point and really coasts by just having so many high quality wrestlers signed even though the booking really isn't good at all. It's hard to have a truly bad division when you have the likes of Io, Meiko, Asuka, Bayley, Bianca, Rhea, Zoey, Sarray, Nikki, Ember, and Kay Lee ray among others signed to the promotion. The booking isn't great however especially on the main roster where things are really uninteresting.
2. Impact- Kind of the inverse of WWE really. I'd say the booking and storytelling is pretty decent , but the roster just lacks in terms of top tier exciting in-ring talents. Deonna , Jordynne, Kiera , Tasha, Taylor, and Rachael are all rally nice talents but none of them have consistently produced matches at the level the top talents in WWE especially in the two NXt's produce on a fairly regular basis which isn't entirely their fault for reasons I will get into in a bit. Outside of those 6 the roster is composed of some pretty bland talents in the ring who are all kind of slow.Another problem I have is Impact's tendency to focus on quantity over quality in terms of matches especially on PPV. Sometimes on one of the impacts specials there will be three women's matches which sounds good in theory but they tend to eat into each other's runtimes resulting in matches that don't quite reach their full potential and are good but not great.Impact also is very slow when it comes to adding new fresh talent, they go through hiring droughts pretty regularly and even when they bring in new talents some times it's only for a very short time like Alexa Nicole or Lacey Ryan (Zoey Stark) . You might say Impact can't afford to consistently bolster and replenish their roster but you have companies like ROH and NWA using exciting new talents on their roster. Still the division isn't bad per say and it's better than the other non-wwe options.
3. AEW- In terms of pure talent on the roster AEW is probably second only to WWE, but the booking and just general usage of the division is incredibly inconsistent and just plain bad oftentimes. Every once in awhile they'll have a really nice match or an entertaining promo/segment with the women.
4. NWA- The ppv matches are generally high quality and the roster has some intriguing young talent on it with some nice veterans as well ( but who knows how long the likes of Rosa and Deeb will stay on the show), but the usage/booking of the women on the weekly show feels like something out of 10 years ago with really short matches and segments.
5. ROH- Their track record with WOH is really bad but the tournament they're doing now seems interesting and has some nice talent in it. It's hard to look past how bad the WOH division has been booked and presented in the past however. I could see this easily moving up if things continue on their current path however.
