As seen on WWE NXT last night, a video ran, which you can watch below, hyping an “ominous force” is coming to WWE NXT.
Dave Meltzer reported on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio the video package is for the NXT TV debut of Mae Young Classic competitor Shayna Baszler.
It’s unclear when Baszler will be making her debut, as NXT has already taped several weeks worth of TV tapings, at which Baszler made a brief appearance and confronted Kairi Sane. Meltzer noted it’s a “strong possibility” Baszler vs Sane will take place at NXT Takeover Philly, however that has yet to be officially announced. Not that I'm a fan of hers but we'll see how she fares in NXT.

At least they were smart enough to call Sonya Deville up before this debut. The title scene is gonna be messy, but based on spoilers, she can feud with Kairi to keep both of them out of the title run for a while, based on how she hates that she lost the MYC to the Pirate Princess.

Daria is pretty cute though. Baszler just looks like a scrappy pitbull, would not want to mess with her in a fight.

Pretty much. Sonya is only just starting to get her foothold on the gimmick with her matches with Ruby, so having them both in NXT would definitely hurt one of them. At least with one of them now on RAW, then the comparisons would be toned down on who does "MMA-style" wrestling better.
