They got Nick Gage OMFG!!!!!!! Who is he? Had a Dark Side of the Ring feature on him about a month ago, pro-LGBTQ+ hardcore wrestler, maybe the most hardcore wrestler today in North America. Reminds me of Jimmy Havoc with all the gimmicks and weapons. Jim Cornette loathes him so it just makes for hilarious hyperbole from Corny. He's the one who took liberties into David Arquette in a fight in the ring few years ago and cut Arquette up pretty bad. Also served 7 years or so for armed robbery. Gage is liberal as they come, shocked he would work with Jericho. Vice versa too. :lol: What an odd fit. AEW loves Dark Side of the Ring and will capitalize on the hype it garners.

Wasn't the best match unfortunately. Britt's obviously a superstar and is incredibly over, but matches with Rosa aside her ring work still isn't great. She wasn't helped here by Nyla who I thought showed some signs of improvement during the eliminator tournament but looked sluggish and sloppy here.

Callis mentioned Gage by name during Omega's Slammiverary introduction "more hardcore than Moxley , tougher than Nick Gage, greater than.......". It seemed obvious he would show up somewhere.
