Cousins is way better then Bridgewater and Lock though. Look at the difference of where they finished the season and of course you can factor in injuries causing Bridgewater and Lock to miss games, but Cousins also had to deal with Dalvin Cook being a stud on the ground. Bridgewater helped Mike Davis be a better fantasy player, but not his #1 WR.
- Cousins finished as the QB11 last season. - Bridgewater finished as the QB19 last season. - Lock finished as the QB23 last season.
DJ Moore 2019: 87/1175/4 (without Bridgewater) DJ Moore 2020: 66/1193/4 (with Bridgewater)
Robby Anderson had a career year last season, but DJ Moore regressed. You can point out the fact he got more yards, but you're looking at 17.2PPR less on receiving alone for Moore.
Jerry Jeudy 2020: (WR46) 52/856/3.
I don't see much improvement coming. Remember DJ Moore was hyped as a breakout candidate last year and he didn't break out because of Bridgewater. Why would Jeudy who is not as good as DJ? The thing with Jeudy last year is he was drafted as the WR46 and finished as the WR46. So he did technically hit his ADP, but why are we wasting our energy arguing over a WR46?
PS- Jameis Winston is a different animal compared to these other QBs so completely irrelevant to this convo.

Bridgewater still had TWO top 30 receivers in Moore and Anderson and Moore was still in the Top 20 even with being a slight disappointment.
Top 30 means starters , especially in leagues that start an extra receiver so the idea. #17 means an easy #2 receiver in all leagues - the idea that you have to be a complete stud to be fantasy relevant flawed.
So the reason you talk about Jeudy is because he is as talented as any of the guys we’ve brought up , has potential to get even better as he was a rookie with erratic at best QB play and could clearly make a jump. Just because Justin Jefferson was out there breaking records doesn’t mean any receiver who performed less than is suddenly a dud.
He’s going to finish a Top 36 receiver if healthy - that’s a lock. If he can get any semblance of help or consistency than he could be a Top 24 -28 type receiver.
If he gets even 20% better in his second year a 60/1000/6 season is in play.

Everything changes with how we are going to look at numbers starting with this season thanks to that extra game. QBs are going to be running for 1000 yards while throwing for 4000 yards. Shit is going to get weird with numbers. So 60/1000/6 is still eh and still shows that with 60 receptions and 6 TDs, this dude is going to be super boom or bust.
He is also going in the same area as Robbie Anderson (82), DJ Chark (83), Brandin Cooks (89) and he's 84. So the fantasy gurus still think he has a chance, but I would not draft him period. Especially with guys like AB, Mike Williams, Waddle and Mooney going a round later. It's a boom or bust tier and would rank Jeudy 3rd out of those 4 guys above only Robby Anderson.
PS- Robby Anderson and DJ Moore did not finish Top 20. They finished 21st and 23rd respectively.

PS- The youtubers tend to agree with @admin and UT and you all may be right at the end of the career, but I'm still not drafting him this season. But I mean; cmon! Look! A whole video was made about this dude dropping everything.

The drops are overrated , it’s an issue but the season long stats are overblown by one terrible game where he had 5 drops. You don’t love those games but they happen to everyone and especially rookies.
He also had an 11 game stretch with a single drop but the pundits don’t talk about that or make YouTube videos.

I don't want to keep talking about Denver, but even SOS is not working in the favor of me wanting to draft Jeudy.
Denvers SOS (maybe also overrated to use when making decisions) has:
QB- 4TH. RB- 4TH. WR- 23RD. TE- 5TH.
Like I said; more intrigued in having Melvin Gordon as my RB3 then I am about trying to catch a Jerry Jeudy breakout on a team with plenty of weapons and not the greatest QB situation. I'm also cheering for Bridgewater to be the starter and successful so we'll see. I am staying away from Jeudy.

I’m not saying I’ll target Jeudy early but as a WR4 with upside he is going to be someone to look at.
SOS in August is a wasted metric. It means nothing.

I’m not saying I’ll target Jeudy early but as a WR4 with upside he is going to be someone to look at. SOS in August is a wasted metric. It means nothing. It's still accurate in some cases. For example: David Montgomery had the easiest EOS SOS going into last year and he dominated the final month. Now everyone thinks Montgomery broke out because he finished strong and is going to take another step this year! I don't. I think he's trash and am in love with scooping up Damien Williams in the last 2 rounds of drafts because it's a steal. This year; I am going HEAVY San Francisco. All in on pduh and his boys. I'll get to that when @admin reaches them, but look at the EOS SOS for San Francisco this year. So tasty and with the possibility of Trey Lance being the QB by then too? Super intriguing.

That’s what I thought it was but that’s even more ridiculous of a stat. Is it though? I play to win the whole thing and I go in depth when I research who I want on my team. So the EOS SOS is one of my favorite places to look. Especially when you get into the area of some players like Aiyuk, Higgins, Golloday who are all in the same range in ADP. The fantasy playoffs for most leagues is Week 15-16-17 and the 49ers opponents those weeks are: Falcons, Titans, Texans. All poor enough defenses where it would be nice to have a piece or pieces of the 49ers on your roster. Like I said earlier; David Montgomery won people CHIPS last season because of his EOS SOS which was ranked #1 before the season even started. Those things matter.

Also the 4 games before those final 3 for SF are: Jacksonville, Minnesota, Seattle and Cincinnati.
The final 7 opponents for SF are all CAKE. I want Kittle, I want Lance, I want either Aiyuk or Deebo. I am heavily targeting these guys. Because all you need to do is make the playoffs and if you have the right pieces preplanned then you can go from the final playoff seed to the champ.

Those things are generally impossible to predict , especially with injuries and defenses rarely ever performing to previous season metrics. I will target the playoff matchups too but do so by trades and even sometimes Waiver Wire after we have actual evidence through about 8 weeks. Not at the beginning of the year unless I’m taking division into account as a tiebreaker.

I believe in SOS when you can see what these teams are. Houstons D is going to be trash. Falcons hot trash. Titans average or below. I'm just really high on owning SF weapons this season and taking Lance as my QB lottery ticket if I don't get one of the big 4 early.
It's been fun arguing Jeudy and SOS with you today. Made my day at work go quicker and with all the typing I'm doing it has also made me look productive. You did well and came up short. I applaud the effort.
Dork.

I tried to but these sites must delete it to not be proven wrong. I know for a fact though about Montgomery and his EOS SOS from last season though. Still couldn't bare to draft him at his ADP and suffer through the first 50-60% of his average numbers.

CAROLINA PANTHERSThe beauty of this section of the Power Rankings is that a lot of these teams are young with optimistic upsides. The unknown of their ceilings as a team keeps them lower in the rankings. This team is coming in with a new QB and the #1 overall fantasy pick Christian McCaffrey. You all know my love for CMC. So let me play devils advocate for a minute. Christian McCaffrey is not going to finish as the RB1 this season. There is way too many new variables that make me nervous to expect the same CMC we got used to. Not only is he coming back from a lost season due to injuries, but he is coming back to a team with a new QB. Maybe all those injuries to CMC slow him down or at the least has the coaches limit his touches for a bit. That's definitely a red flag and with the #1 overall pick you sort of want to avoid red flags. So if you pass on CMC for a Dalvin, Henry or Zeke; you know give the opportunity to someone else to grab CMC with a 2nd or 3rd pick. Now you get to watch him be the same ol CMC with Darnold obsessively falling in love with dumping off passes to CMC, in torture. Passing up on CMC would hurt badly if he is still a machine. They drafted a rookie Chubba Hubbard to be his back up after revitalizing Mike Davis career so this backfield is still ALL CMC. Maybe you're just fucking nuts for passing up on CMC as the #1 overall pick. Maybe you're genius. The receivers are something we already covered yesterday with UT . Two TOP 25 WRs led by Teddy Bridgewater and some guy from the XFL. If Sam Darnold steps up his game ala Ryan Tannehill after leaving Adam Gase then this Panthers offense could become explosive! The problem is the O-Line and Sam Darnold might spend his time in the Carolinas seeing ghosts on a weekly basis. Either way; I am the most intrigued by owning DJ Moore to see how good he really is. Will he remain in the low end WR2 discussion for another season or will Darnold help him to a breakout season? Will Robby Andersons reunion with Sam Darnold help him continue to rise after a career year? Maybe if you want him as a WR3, go for it. Just not that interested honestly. The Panthers have the misfortune of playing the Buccaneers twice, but they do get to also face the Atlanta Falcons twice so it evens out. The Panthers are an interesting team but I am only interested in two players from it. CMC & DJ Moore. NEW YORK GIANTS:Man it is hard to stop yourself from being biased sometimes. I want the Giants to succeed this year. I want them to sneak into a playoff spot. However, the question marks are everywhere for this roster. Is Daniel Jones any good? This is surely his last shot at it, in my opinion. You have now given him a new weapon in Kenny G to go along with Shephard, Slayton, Engram and.... Saquon? I wish it was more clearer on the condition of Saquon. Is he healthy? Is he going to be good to go by Week 1? Week 2? Week 3? And when he returns; how long will it be until he's given a full workload? Right now he is the 5th overall pick in ADP. So people are okay with drafting him after CMC, Dalvin, Henry and Kamara. They're also okay drafting him before Zeke and Chubb. Are they about to waste their #5 overall pick hoping for the old Saquon OR are they about to steal the draft by buying the #1 fantasy player at a discount? It is hard to recommend drafting Saquon. Of course he can bounce back from his injury like Adrian Peterson did and still be a superstar. Of course he could be that superstar that the opening games against Denver and Washington defenses wont really matter. OR you could be drafting a player 5th overall knowing that he might not be a viable starter until Week 3 (ATL) or Week 4 (New Orleans). Joe Judge said that they are taking this with a 'long term approach' and long term is not good for fantasy football. If you get Saquon, you better snag up a solid RB2 in CEH or Gibson if you're lucky enough for one of them to fall to you in the 2nd round. You are going to need someone to carry you through that first month and hope that Barkley returns his ADP for the final 2/3 of the fantasy season. He could win you a championship this season or he could cost you a playoff spot period. Super tough. The gambler in me says 'DO IT' but the person who wants to win this year by following rules; I'm saying pass. PS- I'm taking Zeke over Saquon this season if given the opportunity to choose between the two. As for the receivers; eh. No thanks on Engram. Shephard is an absolute steal as a last round pick, by the way. Dude never disappoints and always outperforms his ADP. This is a no brainer last pick if you are looking to add depth. But Slayton? Good luck guessing which game he explodes in. Toney? Rookie on a blah offense? Nah, I'll pass. Kenny Golloday just got paid, but is still nursing injuries which makes him too scary of a pick to make even at his #65 overall ADP right now. I've never been fond of drafting players from New York teams. Yes, I am guaranteed to get their games on TV, but man are they frustrating in the fantasy department. Unless you caught Saquons explosive years, you've been mostly disappointed in New Yorkers. The Giants have a limitless ceiling play with Barkley, but it also has a bottomless pit of a floor. Kenny G's ceiling doesn't feel high enough for me and we all saw what his floor looks like last season. Is Daniel Jones an upgrade over Matthew Stafford? I think not so I will pass on these New Yorkers. PS- Before we end this convo about these 2 teams, let's make a toast. Let's recognize that Blindy has had CMC and Barkley (and Kamara~!) on his PW Fantasy Team for 3 years and has won ZERO championships. Sounds like the Jets Way!

I like Darnold too as a sleeper QB and because Brady's offense should allow him to put up some numbers. Obviously can get him late but I'm definitely targeting him as my QB3 in the two quarterback league.

Yeah I don't really do 2 QB leagues (minus the PW one) so Darnold aint the worst QB2/3 if you get forced into that situation.
I would rather take my chances on Cam Newton in that area though as he offers those rushing yards and is a goal line carry hog.

I don’t care for or trust Cam. Would rather just take an upside guy in that spot because in a perfect world if they don’t light the world on fire I only need them twice.
