HMM! interesting. I'm not sure about Seth as a good guy again but, I'm willing to give him a chance.

I’ve enjoyed Rollins stuff as a heel the last few times I’ve seen him, mostly through the Edge stuff… I don’t know that turning on Smackdown tonight I expected to see him working the face spots with the crowd singing his tune before the stomp.

Lack of other options really.

At this point, Mox and Cody are both in the Rumble. 

Would you book Dean Ambrose or cue up Wild-Thing, for Jon Moxley? 

Def would go with Moxley if I were bringing him in. He would never return with his Ambrose gimmick.

If Roman can get me to root for Rollins, he truly is in god mode.

Watched the first ten minutes or so of Smackdown, which was awful (seriously WWE you ran out like a half-dozen women that we all know can’t win the Royal Rumble and Sasha Banks) so I turned it off. Turned back over for the Rollins-Reigns thing and am confused… which one of those guys at I supposed to be pulling for? Is WWE post-babyface? I thought theyd been maneuvering Seth as the face, but he went with the whole your family is a joke routine that pushed Roman that direction and mostly just made e not care about this match because I know who is winning and don’t have a rooting interest to hope it goes differently.

Yeah, that first segment was cringey bad.  Now we know why WWE fabricated the time for Aliyah's record pinfall.  You can't strike lightning twice on Austin 3:16.

That's an issue with both title matches. Both Lashley/Lesnar and Rollins/Reigns is heel/heel and right now the logical move seems to be Lashley/Reigns which would also be heel/heel. Even if they go Big E/Rollins or Big E/Lashley, it feels like the loser's bracket.

I believe the original plan was for McIntyre to get tossed into the mix of Reigns/Lesnar so we'll see if that's on track.

Personally I'm fine with it - Rollins/Reigns have a storied history and it's been awhile since they've tangled and it should be a good match. With COVID throwing things out of wack, I'm fine with them landing on this.

I'm fine with the Roman/Seth dynamic as long as the storytelling aligns with the action.

Happy to see Sasha back (she slayed it in that outfit), however, it would have been so much better if her return was in the Rumble match itself.

Yeah, considering they announced pretty much everybody else beforehand, why not?

I hope Seth's character is a total ruse, to convince Roman to underestimate Rollins, despite the obvious history.

And inline with the dynamics with The Bloodline, they tease an Uso turning on Roman. Remembering he humbled both early on in the arch to get them on side.

In fact, it could be Seth's " Plan B "

I take it we're getting Rousey/Deville at EC.

Rousey vs Deville may be a sleeper match if the girls get much say. And Deville may since she has been mostly backstage for the last two years. But I can easily see them just beating the hell out of each other.

The latest Heyman promo was GOLD! I loved it.

Sitdown interviews are always a good way to hype a match, when used sparingly.





Reigns had some nice quips, but Goldberg had more interesting things to say. Goldberg speaks against his doubters, promises that he's back for good, not a flash in the pan comeback.

The Tribal chief needs more purpose. The need to shed a light on the family element of this story. Have other members of the family express dissatisfaction with Roman's mission statement. Something to spice things up.

Natalya is going on literally 15 years on the main roster and doesn’t show any sign of stopping or retiring. I don’t recall any major injuries or anything from her either. She’s been nonstop.

Xia Li is awesome. Crowd loves her. English is a lot better. So is her in-ring stamina. Looks amazing. She succeeds in making her character work. I hope she really pushes through.
