Not sure if people seen on twitter or not yet, Daffney had a breakdown on Instagram basically implying she was going to kill herself then went dark and is not answering her phone.  EMS was sent to her last known address, but no one is sure if she is there or not.  I saw one of the last videos and it is not good at all.  

Police have contacted her family and after an hour delay have sent EMS to her new address. Not sounding good though.

Very sad to hear about this, she has had a rough few years and clearly her CTE issues are very serious. Hopefully we get a positive update soon and she's able to get the help she needs.

Hopefully this will have a positive outcome and Daffney get whatever help she needs. I really don't want to find out that she killed herself.

From the videos and what people were saying while I hope this has a positive outcome, her going dark for 90 minutes before the police got the right address does not leave me much hope.


Edit:  Still no updates on this.  Barring a police report looks like no new information until morning.  Super scary not to have an update as she had a gun in the videos.

This story gets worse by the hour.

Her family got to her apartment but the door was locked and there was no answer and the apartment manager argued he could not open the door for the police, and the police could not break in, so took hours to get the door open.

I assume if a gunshot was heard they would have had reason to break the door. But never know these days. No word on the state of her, but sounded like from April Hunter's post that they did get the door open and people are with her now.

EMS arrived too late

SHIMMER and other places confirmed she is dead.

I saw the video because it got reposted a bunch and my curiosity got the better of me. I wasn't expecting a good outcome. She was in full crisis mode and with the delays in getting to her I expected they would find her dead.

Such a shame. She was really talented and deserved better. Another victim of the mental health crisis gone too soon.

I am dreading the new now that this all could have been avoided if EMS kicked the door down. Three hours was way, way too long given the video showed her reading a suicide note and her gun.

A shame Daffney's demons got the better of her, I was really hoping for a better outcome. My thoughts and prayers to all her friends and family.

Terrible news, saw the clip of her crying in pain and wanting help. She said she wanted her brain to be unharmed for it to go to Boston to be checked upon for CTE to help people out and to expose how deadly and serious concussions are. I thought the updates were that family and EMT got to her in time, didn't happen. Terrible news. Mental health is no joke and much like with how WWE failed Ashley Mazzarro, TNA/Impact absolutely failed Daffney by throwing her in matches where she was clearly concussed and she begged to not be in but was told to do it or face termination.

WTF NO!!!!!!!!! I'm in shock! months ago, I showed my close friend a match. The 1st match she's ever watched is Rachel Summmerlyn vs Daffney.

This is depressing to see. Daffney was great in her many different roles, and I always felt bad for how TNA did her wrong. Sad to see her go.

From what I saw is it took an hour for them to get to the right place, then several hours to convince the landlord to open the door.  Likely it would not have mattered since he had her gun with her while streaming so very likely when she finished the last stream that was shared on twitter widely she shot herself.

Man she looked way different than what I remember.

She has been pretty hurt and miserable.

Absolute shame that she had a gun on her, I just ask where her friends or neighbors could have been. She wasn't in the right mindset to have that firearm with her. Ugh  

The one good thing out of this generation is that concussions are taken far more seriously nowadays, especially in contact sports. You have concussion protocol and automatic games missed due to it. Guys or gals will try and be tough and still play despite having one but it's good to see more athletes are smart about it now. I know Christopher Nowinski, ex Tough Enough I contestant and WWE wrestler quit wrestling upon sustaining one and really went hard on the research of it.

After seeing a few of my friends die from shit like this, people often do not have time for people who are constantly struggling, but everyone is their closest friend after they are gone. Sounded like she had no one locally there for her.

I just saw this. I am so upset. I loved Daffney from years ago but admittedly hadn’t kept up with her over the years. Still losing anyone so young and this way to their demons is tragic. I hope she finds the peace in death she lacked in life.

Super fucking underrated and under pushed. One of my favorite female wrestlers. She was always my biggest WCW crush and had so much potential had she not ended up in the wrong place at the wrong time.... She deserved better than this. Beyond heartbreaking to read. Yet another talented soul from this business who's gone way too soon. RIP Daffney.

Saw this yesterday and it made me sad too. I wish she took Mickie up on that invite. Maybe something would have changed. Who knows.

LuFisto did some tributes to Lucy on her twitter. Was heartbreaking to LuFisto trying to get through to Lucy or people to her in time and just not being able to.
