Thought I’d chuck this up, with no obvious place to talk about All Out hype and it being too early for a party thread. How hyped are you? What match are you most looking forward to? I’m disappointed we won’t get to see Andrade and PAC even if it was a pretty cold match, but the rest of the card looks solid. I have a suspicion the Bucks will go on last, since it doesn’t feel right that Punk should and Omega/Cage doesn’t feel right either.
Anyway, post your assorted ramblings here!

I thought now would be as good a place as any to say I'll be pretty busy over the next couple of weeks so I'm going to be a little out of the loop when it comes to all things wrestling. I haven't seen much of anything this past week and I'm not entirely sure when I'll get to watch the show which puts a dampener on things.
However I've got some time to kill to spitball, so this is where I'm at.
Kenny Omega vs. Christian Cage - This will be a perfectly sound match and I've got absolutely zero interest in it. In retrospect nothing Kenny has done since winning the title has satisfied me. I mean the KENTA tag match sounded cool but then it was a clustermuck of a match. I was curious to see how a death match worked in a major US promotion and it turned into a wet fart of a segment and the rest has done nothing to help Kenny it's all been about his opponents. Considering we saw this match not that long ago, what's the intrigue? Don Callis being a carny piece of shit? Bryan Danielson rocking up post match?
Lucha Brothers and Young Bucks will have some crazy spots but both teams seem utterly cold to me. The Devil Triangle Storyline involving Andrade feels really lazy and the Bucks just seem to be running around in circles as these burnt-out goofy heels. It'll be fun but I just don't care about the result one way or another.
I don't know guys, it just feels like 'a show'. A fun way to kill a few hours but I'm not sure if there's going to be a ton to discuss after the show. I think there's only two matches that have any genuine interest for both the right and wrong reasons.
For the right reasons you have Punk-Darby where it's Punk's first match in over 7 years so we get to see what he can do outside of a WWE environment with one of the best in-ring talents in the entire industry.
On the other it's MJF-Jericho in a match MJF SHOULD win but they've booked it in such a way that Jericho could get the last laugh which could really piss the fanbase off. Either way that match feels way bigger than anything else on the show despite how hit and miss Jericho has been as of late.

I have similar feelings to Big Pete. All Out is a show that should be a much bigger deal than it actually is. The clear highlight is CM Punk vs Darby Allin. I say this as someone who's never been the biggest fan of CM Punk, and wasn't especially excited for his return. However what CM Punk has done in AEW since his return has been absolutely perfect, so I'm now excited for this match. I'm skeptical about Punk's in-ring ability but it's going to be something special either way. Allin is one of the best wrestlers in the company, a great first opponent. Honestly the rest of the card is pretty skippable, I don't think I would miss out on much. I suppose my second favourite match on the card would be Britt Baker vs Kris Statlander. My reservation is that Baker's two title defenses have been pretty awful. Nevertheless, I remain optimistic. I really like Statlander since she's returned, she's a fresh opponent, and the introduction of Jamie Hayter helps make this match feel like a big deal. They've tried to make Omega vs Christian work, but it's not working for me. I'm not into the Elite stable at all. The highlight of the build was the Christian/Don Callis promo, but the rest of the build has been Elite beatdown after Elite beatdown. Yawn. At least the match will be good, which is more than I can say for Young Bucks vs Lucha Bros. That's going to be a video game spotfest that I know I'll hate, so I'm not watching it. I also don't give a flying fuck who wins because both teams are crap. Miro vs Eddie Kingston might be fun. The rest of the card...meh. I'll watch Moxley vs Kojima just to see what kind of reaction Kojima will get, but I don't expect the match to be much good.

It does feel like all the happenings from a recruitment standpoint have kind of messed with the holistic booking approach Khan usually has. Would this be the lowest AEW buy rate without Punk on the card? I think it would have a shot. Punk being there changes everything obviously. I agree with Pete and Emperor, this Elite stuff is dying and Page really needs to come and win the title at the next PPV.

I'm 99% certain that all this "Christian was always the plan," talk is bullshit and if CM Punk and/or Bryan Danielson never signed, we'd be watching Omega vs Page on Sunday. From all accounts, Danielson was already a done deal and CM Punk threw a wrench in things. If anything Danielson would have debuted already and would be fighting Omega on Sunday. Basically AEW had 3 possible main events ready to go and it was all determined by whether CM Punk made up his mind or not.

Definitely got the feeling that Jericho isn't losing on Sunday evening, can't help but feel that MJF is a MF who I can't stand, which is good, but from the stuff I've seen lately, it's pointing towards a CJ win.

I could see Jericho winning but then giving a little speech either after the match or on Wednesday saying he's stepping aside for a while. The Inner Circle seems to be breaking up naturally, and he's got touring + his cruise coming up.
Still, if you're going to go out and retire, this is how you do it. I'm worked, brother. I don't know what's going to happen on Sunday, and if this is really my all-time favourite's last match then damn. I DON'T THINK I'M READY.

Yeah, if it's his last match on Sunday, I'm hyped for it, and I guess he'll make MJF a mother fudging star, well moreso after that match.

I work sunday during the ppv, so I won't get to watch live, and might not get to watch until Wednesday. So that's a bummer.

Cole is free to appear on the PPV. Expect him to appear with Britt. Would be hilarious if they just cut to him cheering during her entrance and it said "Dr Baker's Boyfriend" underneath or something, and just left it at that. I work sunday during the ppv, so I won't get to watch live, and might not get to watch until Wednesday. So that's a bummer. Well guess you have to quit your job.

I assume Cole will be introduced as Britt's boyfriend and they will run an angle about why he is there.
Or he enter the fold fast and attacks the Lucha Bros to help the bucks retain their title.
