From a booking standpoint it should be Kane, Strowman losing again to one F5 before Wrestlemania will destroy his credibility and WWE are set in making Brock and the F5 look unstoppable before Roman Reigns kicks out of it at Wrestlemania. Kane can obviously take the loss.

It's the holiday blahs. Nothing notable happening on RAW. SmackDown still has a PPV left this year though, thank goodness. At least there's still action on there.

But after that, there's nothing of note until the stroke of January.

What i read of the show...it was all crap. But to me Raw is always crap.

Kane is going to be in a PPV World Title match in 2018. Fuck me. Over 20 years after the debut of that gimmick.

It is unbelievable how he has managed to get such a run out of that character when it was only great for like a year and only decent for maybe a couple more at best. Fair fucks to the guy.

I just read that Kane is going to be in a Main Event coming up for the title , against Brock. MWAHAHAHAHA.

Kane is the best they can do if they don't want Braun to take another L. Brock might as well skip the Rumble.

And what a run it has been in recent years. The WWE hasn't always treated the character with the integrity and respect a monster needs to stay over, but his track record in recent years has been strong. Two years ago, he's involved in a championship program with Seth Rollins and dismantles the Wyatt Family alongside The Undertaker. Fast forward a year later and again, he's going over every member of the Wyatt Family at a time where the WWE were grooming Bray for a WWE Championship run. Then he takes time off, returns and gets the better of Braun Strowman, one of the most over guys in the company.

In my mind, Kane is still the guy who's never had any luck in love and has endured terrible relationship after terrible relationship. This idea of him as The Big Red Machine died out by the time Lita broke his heart. However, to Vince's credit, this run has been in the making for sometime.

I still don't understand how this is any better than Finn Balor vs Brock Lesnar. Whether you like him or not, the WWE invested considerable time into Balor and after his match against AJ Styles he was running hot. Not only would it have been a more exciting match, the Rumble is the best show to roll the dice with a guy they're unsure about. Even so, I don't understand why they're so hesitant when they were ready to make him the focal point of Raw before his injury. My only guess is that they wanted to protect the Demon persona and had no intention of having Brock lose the title before Wrestlemania. Still, I don't see how that's worse than having your unstoppable force fail in another PPV match.

I'm still going to watch it because it's Brock Lesnar.
