AEW Rampage - Episode #6 * * * Tonight's Card TNT Championship Singles Match Miro(c) vs. Fuego Del Sol
Tag Team Championship Tag Team Match Lucha Bros(c) vs. The Butcher & The Blade
Singles Match Anna Jay vs. The Bunny
On top of all that in-ring action, Tony Schiavone will moderate a Face-To-Face segment between Ruby Soho and Britt Baker, plus Bryan Danielson and Kenny Omega discuss their match at Grand Slam.

Two big title matches scheduled for tonight's show, it's safe to say both sets of champions going into their respective matches, will retain their titles. Having said that, I would love if tonight's match between Miro/Del Sol, leads to Sammy Guevara challenging Miro for the TNT championship, with the match taking place during next week's special two hour edition of Rampage.

- Rampage kicking off with the Lucha Bros defending their tag titles. Thank God The Butcher is back, cause The Blade as a solo act does nothing for me, but they work well as a tag team.
- Bryan Danielson and Kenny Omega didn't really discuss their Dynamite match, however, it served it's purpose of getting me even more hyped for their match.
- It's great to have Anna Jay back. If AEW ever brings in women's tag titles (within the next little while), I hope TayJay are the first title holders. I love the TayJay friendship, it's so wholesome, what's not to love.
- The Hardy Family Office having some shitty luck tonight. Matt Hardy announces an eight man tag match between Lucha Bros/Proud & Powerful and The Hardy Family Office, as well as Anna Jay vs. Penelope Ford.
- I really wish they didn't go there, with the Britt Baker/Ruby Soho segment. Ruby bringing up Britt sleeping with Adam Cole, is such a WWE thing to do and honestly doesn't even make sense, considering 1. Baker was there before Cole, and 2. Was already Champion.
- God yes, I want Miro/Guevara so bad.
- AEW should have a great week next week, both the Dynamite and Rampage cards look great and both should deliver.

Mostly forgettable episode but the Ruby/Britt segment was fire and I love seeing the Butcher & the Blade back together. Decent tag match. Finish was cool with Penta tied up in the corner and risking showing his face to save the titles.

Feels like this week was all about setting up next week's shows.

I like Rampage. It’s an easy watch and there’s one or two good things on there every week. I really got into the Baker/Soho roast-off but I am a sucker for that stuff. My biggest fear when Rampage started was that it would detract from Dynamite but they really have shown they have the roster for that third hour.

Oh by the way, if Fuego can cut a promo like that what has he been a jobber for so long? I know he’s tiny but he has some babyface fire.

Miro had to punish F.D.S. he was being materialistic. I love seeing Miro beat people up.

It says something about how high AEW has set the bar for weekly TV when they have a show with two strong title matches and a fun promo battle and people are talking about it being forgettable and setting up next week.
The Britt/Ruby segment was awesome and was exactly what the women's division has been lacking. They haven't been able to establish anyone's character on the mic other than Britt, and with a couple of awesome lines a match with some real heat was created.

Apparently Ricky Starks in for Mark Henry on commentary is a permanent move so that's a positive. Now if we can just get Jericho out of there....

I mean unless Ricky Starks is injured*, I'm not sure how that's a good thing. Yes, he's better on commentary then Mark Henry is, however, I'd much rather see him wrestling on Rampage, then calling the action.
*Which is possible, I don't really follow who has injuries and all.
