I'm sure I'm not the only wrestling fan this week who has been wondering why I like this shit given the stuff that goes on. This Eddie Kingston video talking about the show in Queens is a nice reminder why. He's the best. I can't wait to hear his pop on Rampage.

WOW! I've seen a ton of Eddie Kingston's promos but, that's 1 of the best he's ever cut. It was so heartfelt. I'm glad more fans know just how good the mad king is.

May be meeting him in two weeks. He is set to murder my friend in NEW.

I really wish I could find his promo on RoH when he was in Blackout. It was the best promo he has ever done and the most intense I ever seen him. It was on how people would not give him a chance because he refuses to do steroids to get that wrestler look. Better than his High Noon promo.

I wanted to meet Eddie when he was supposed to fight Green Ant for the 2nd time, in Orlando but, sadly he broke his hand after the Awesome Kong match. The rest is history.

Heartfelt is a great way to put it - he might well be the most authentic wrestler ever. Even compared to Moxley who I think is the best pure promo guy around for his intensity, flow and ability to get you fired up for a match still has that aspect that he's playing up to a character - Eddie just keeps it 💯

Probably my favorite promo he's ever done. Strangely took a while to find, used to be the first few whenever I searched "EK Promo". Shows how much he has produced in recent memory. Based a lot of my PW WM stuff on this era of his stuff. Just felt so real and maybe it was to an extent. I always loved it since everything is based on stuff that happened. No worked shoot bullshit, just reality of the business and what it takes from you.

Him in the ring is whatever, but I could listen to him talk all day.

I loved this promo! F.I.S.T got to wrestle the Briscoes! I'm not asking to wrestle outside talent!

Last night on Elevation, Tony Schiavone called Hikaru Shida one of the best female wrestlers in the world and Kingston said "nah she's one of the best wrestlers in the world period."

I notice him doing little things like that which sets him in a class above. Sneaky fist bumps with kids when he's entering behind Mox and acting tough, pushing for fair treatment and mental health resources, all kinds of stuff that just makes me think he's one of the good ones.

I'm so glad he's getting his due with AEW. I would love it if he won the TNT title or the tag titles with Mox, he deserves a legit title run on TV so much.

It looked for awhile like we were going to get Eddie/Miro for the TNT at Arthur Ashe. I think the tag match will be a blast and probably main event Friday, but that would've been a special moment. 

Eddie is amazing on commentary. He's made Elevation appointment viewing for me every week. Him, Tony, and Paul are my favorite commentary team.

Eddie was always one of CHIKARA's best commentators and he only gotten better over the years. He knows his job on commentary is to put over the talent, something many forget. Hope he is a mainstay for AEW on commentary for at least one of the shows.

Really happy to see AEW also give Kingston a path for life after wrestling. He can work the back, work the school and do commentary when he finally hangs up his boots. Much better than his plan of just leaving the wrestling business entirely. From his shoot interviews when he was hired in AEW looks like WWE also wants him to train, which is not shocking as Sara Del Rey worked Kingston a few times and they were in CHIKARA together.
