That Storm Cradle Driver is fucking sweet.

Yeah. She calls it the Fall from Grace. Slightly different from the original storm cradle driver but much, much safer. Seen the original go wrong a few times. Grace gets control before she slams, Storm not so much and relied on the guy tucking his head while he flipped them.

Also by using the leg instead of arm to flip, it looks so much more impactful.

Grace was the star of that show that night.  Just an absolute monster.

Also revealed that Josh Alexander's cancelation then appearance was because after his flight was cancelled, he got a rental car and drove 14 hours through the night and storm to be there.  That is fucking dedication.

Feels less like on if AEW is competition but more like are these C and D level promotions capable of competing for AEW's spot.

I heard Virgil randomly came in with a Vince McMahon mask and his entrance music, that Cardona/Janela match sounded like an absolute clusterfuck.

Virgil showed up and just immediately left. The Janela match went way too fucking long (like every Janela match) and it was all spots and callbacks and it fucked up the timing of the rest of the show.

GCW is the new RoH basically. They slipped into that void of being the best indy fed going right now.

And they packed the Ballroom. What is REALLY cool is this show was three generations in the Ballroom, with the ECW guys, CZW/ROH guys and now the new generation.

And what a fucking show. Forgot it was on or I would have found a way to watch. HOLY special appearances. Matt Tremont coming off the bench is huge. Moreso winning the damn titles.

Seems like Effy is GCW's biggest star next to Nick Gage. Is he seriously good? Wrestled with HOFer Jeff Jarrett who was just on Smackdown not too long ago.

No, Effy is terrible. And I can say that because I'm queer, Effy is VERY mediocre. He does Goldust 96 spots but he's a babyface. It's very annoying that he's the face of LGBTQ indie wrestling and I'm so glad that AC Mack was the first openly-gay world champion and not his stupid ass.

Gotcha. He looked like Joey Ryan with the gimmicky stuff in the ring, was just curious. 

Effy is a master of social media and very charismatic. If he was not super openly gay WWE would have pulled him by now. He gets deathmatch fans, who are known to be homophobic and chant Daddy for him. It is unreal to see. Like people were rooting for him over Gage. It is pretty weird to see.

Also Effy is on twitch which helps a lot to connect with hardcore fans.

He's very charismatic and I won't deny he's entertaining and has a presence and knows how to market himself. Buuuut then the bell rings.

Yeah, that was my issue with Effy at first. But not everyone needs to be an American Dragon to sell a show.  He is basically a sports entertainer in the wrestling world.

I feel like I just got this exact same argument in the history thread talking about how much Bradshaw's main event heel run sucked. "Oh you want your bunch of movez or your flips and head drops". No, not every wrestler needs to be as good as the best wrestler of all time, but they should still be, like, COMPETENT.

Sure, but Effy is competent. Mostly a styles clash with him, he wants to do more sports entertainment and WWE while other people want to do ECW.

Bradshaw was a great heel though IMO.  Legit nasty brawler that delivered a lot of cool bloodbaths.

One. He delivered ONE bloodbath and it wasn't even his blood. The one match people cite as a good match during his heel reign and it wasn't even anything he did in the match and it wasn't even the match where he won the belt. Otherwise it's all headlocks and bearhugs and horseshit.
