Moments ago, at the request of Jon Moxley, Tony Khan just released a series of tweets, sharing that Moxley is undergoing treatment for alcoholism, and that he will be on hiatus indefinitely.

Here's hoping that Mox gets all the help he needs.

He’s more successful than he’s ever been and might ever will be, he just had a kid, and his book dropped today. He recognized he needed help, and he did it at possibly the time that would have taken the most courage.

Good for him. I wish him a speedy recovery.

Nice to see someone get help before it causes a problem.

Echoing what others have said, we’ve all grown up seeing many of our favourite wrestlers die from substance abuse, glad he recognised he needed help.

Been wondering what was up with Mox, as he was acting different than the old Mox the last year or so. Led to him losing the wit that made him so great. If it was the booze, this means we are in for a treat when Mox returns.

If AEW wants a nuclear heat storyline should bring back the old Punk and do the RoH Punk vs Raven feud with Punk and Mox.

And yeah, good on Mox for getting help now. He is in a great place to get clean as a some of AEW guys have been down the addiction route and recovered. Matt Hardy was talking about his addiction issues on twitch the other night. Sure some of the WWE guys will be reaching out as well.

Speaking of Mox, people are posting stuff from his book on Twitter. Def can tell that he wrote it himself, and it is a wild book because of it.

Moxley will be replaced in the title tournament tonight. OC is facing a mystery opponent.

I say throw 10 in there and give him another shot since Mox embarrassed him then dropped out. OC is probably moving on now since the plan was for Mox vs Danielson at Full Gear, so it really doesn't matter who steps in.

Or you have the Elite pull some bullshit to get Adam Cole (baybay) in there and you do Cole vs Danielson II.

They fought each other before, but not in AEW.

They missed what could have been a hilarious moment of OC advancing without having to do literally anything.  Have him come to the ring for his match, announce Mox had to pull out for family reasons, and declare OC the winner.  Would fit his character completely.

Orange Cassidy earning his way to the final and giving the audience a match they were sort of expecting is better than a funny little gag that will be forgotten about as quickly as it happened.

Unless it is PAC, whoever fills in is just getting rolled over in the same short of comedy that OC always does and will be quickly forgotten anyway.

Then again, maybe God will put his own champion in this time...

Orange Cassidy has had plenty of matches that aren't the short comedy type. I haven't seen him do a pure comedy match in a while. His matches tend to be pretty competitive and he gets serious in all of them.

I'd rather OC end Omega than Page.

On the fly though they will likely go to comedy since there are few matches they can set up on the fly that will really justify OC "trying".  And Colony was one of my favorite teams of all time, so I def know what Fire Ant can do in the ring.

I think they wrestled in WWE, most likely on that random Smackdown where like half the roster was stranded because of a storm or overseas or something and the NXT roster had to fill in.

Glad to see him getting help, especially since him and Renee have a child now. Best of luck to Mox.
