As noted, the Impact Wrestling contracts of both EC3 and Bobby Lashley are set to expire soon, and it’s possible the two might exit the company if Impact is unable to offer them new, high money deals.

According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it’s very possible that one of the two talents, or both of them, could wind up returning to WWE. Lashley is, of course, a former WWE Champion, and EC3 worked in WWE developmental years ago as Derek Bateman before being released from the company

I will cry if they lose EC3. Love that guy and I have enjoyed watching him grow as a character in Impact.

Lashley can kick rocks. He's boring as hell.

Both of them would be loses for Impact.

Ethan Carter leaving would suck, especially since he was really a nobody, and became a star in TNA/GFW/whatever their name is now. Bobby Lashley, I'm not a big fan of his, but he would be another big blow as well.

I think EC3 can return to the WWE, similar to Drew's return. WWE can sell the bit about EC3 losing his dream job, going to the indies to find himself and becoming a star in the process.

TNA has done fuck all in terms of building new stars, EC3 although is one of the few.

I don't think either guy would be a huge loss for TNA, simply because they've done everything they can in the company and have outgrown it. The EC3 character was a good foot in the door at TNA, but over time proved a hindrance because the rich entitled nephew of the previous boss can never be completely accepted as a babyface, no matter how far he separates himself from that gimmick.

Meanwhile, Lashley was one of the best champions in all of Pro Wrestling these past couple of years and nobody in TNA came close to him. TNA have done a decent job of putting Lashley into that Undertaker freakshow role in recent times, but his presence just over-shadows the roster. I think a change in scenary is in order and he could go anywhere and be a good mainline attraction wherever he goes.

i think EC3 does great as a face. he can definitely get the crowd behind him. he even gets cheers as a heel

As a performer, he's fine but the character doesn't lend itself to being a natural babyface. Eli pointed that out and it completely wrecked them when they went 1-on-1 on the mic.
