"The word making the rounds is that Kenny Omega may be out for an extended period of time from in-ring action as he's likely looking at shoulder surgery.  The hope is they will have some clarity on that within the week.  Omega had been badly banged up even when the promotion launched in 2019 following a grueling run in New Japan Pro Wrestling."

Apparently Omega is being evaluated today so we should know more by tonight's show or tomorrow.

He's had some great matches despite being banged up and requiring surgery. More rest between matches must have helped him stay somewhat healthy.

I just hope he isn't holding out on something that could shorten his career. As much as I want him to wrestle Vikingo next month, I hope he isn't risking too much in doing so.

Countdown to when he gets superkicked out of The Elite starts now...

You could have his exit from The Elite done without even having him appear. Just have Adam Cole (baybay) channel his Triple H from the night after Mania in 98 and say how Omega couldn’t get it done anymore and wasn’t up to it without the help of Cole and The Bucks. Cole commandeers control of the group. Maybe ditch the fucking goofs too like Towzawa and the dumb fuck who runs around in the face mask with a camera. For full effect have Cole and The Bucks decimate Callis.

Probably giving them too much credit WMS, but love the idea.

I agree, drop the goofballs and forget about The Good Brothers and after tapping on his forearm and talking about blood.. Cole introduces Fish into The Elite.

It's probably a nice why to transition the focus to Cole as The Elite's ace. And when Cole's megalomania has hit its peak, you'd bring Omega back as a babyface.

I was thinking who do we bring in as a 4th man, a midcard entity - can’t believe Fish slipped my mind. An obvious and good fix. Great shout NATH45!

Keep Omega off TV and out of people’s conscience for a while then when he’s ready to return, have him come back to a big babyface pop and an immediate feud with Cole.

Fairly sure Kenny will be written off in the very near future by the Bucks turning on him and Cole getting his revenge finally for Kenny kicking him out of the Bullet Club. This is a feud that goes back to the earliest days of Being the Elite and could be a true blood feud to build around since Cole vs Omega never got a payoff the first time. It is also a great way to keep both guys away from Page and thus the title. Neither guy needs the title, while Page being a homegrown basically, does need that title until people really get behind him.

The nod to Page to finished Kenny from the Bucks makes me think we already got this seeded as well.

What I want more than anything is for them to redo the RoH betrayal moment with Cole and Omega switching places.  And well no Marty.  Have Kenny come out with the bucks and announce with tears in his eyes he is injured and he does not know if he will be able to wrestle again.  Have the Bucks get the crowd chanting for Omega, then have Cole on the tron and leads the chants too.  Then have Cole tell Omega a wants to tell him a story.  Recap their past together in Bullet Club.  Then have him say he seems to remember talking like this before but he was the hero.  Then have him tell Kenny, if he is hero this time, then that must make Cole the villain and tell him he waited a long time for this moment.  Have Kenny look to the Bucks, and have them superkick him while Cole on the tron announces that the Elite is dead.

Bucks own the footage of Omega's promo for the first time they booted Cole out of the Elite, and likely can get the footage from RoH to air in recaps.  Kenny returns play up the match as give years in the making.  This was a match that never did happen the first time, and building with the past, would make it fucking epic as they have a year of footage in the Being the Elite archives of the setup for it the first time.

Loving these ideas. Been sick of the Good Brothers for a while and honestly hadn't even noticed they haven't been on TV lately. And Tozawa and Cutler have served their purpose and can be gone too. I'd even go as far as having them be the ones that take the beat down. They're loveable stooges and seeing them get decimated by the SuperKliq would gain a lot of heat.

Maybe Callis tries to buy his way back in by bringing in his "next big thing," maybe someone like Brian Cage who needs a direction, or he tries to reign in Miro and gets embarrassed that way. I dunno, just spit-balling. Regardless it ends badly for Callis.

You also have to remember that it's a foregone conclusion at this point that Kevin Owens is leaving WWE in January/February/whenever his contract runs out, and is reuniting with his friends. Could see them teasing the "4th man" angle until that point, and reuniting Mount Rushmore as the new Super Elite.

Steen with a live mic in AEW is gonna be insane. Would love to see him do a similar angle with Punk that Kingston just did.  With some coaching from Eddie, it could be fucking hot as shit.  Imagine KO doing a promo about the t-shirt shit in RoH, where Punk started shit with him about wearing a t-shirt instead of his singlet in RoH.  Figure though timeline is Steen come into RoH and Punk leaves.  Steen come to WWE and Punk is retires.  Timing is just so good.  

AAA has been informed that Kenny Omega requires surgery and will be unable to defend the Mega Championship against Vikingo in December.

And there we go. Best for Omega to get this shit taken of now rather than fighting through it and blowing the shoulder entirely. Sure him and Danielson can still work magic while protecting his shoulder when he returns.

I'm a big fan of Kenny Omega. I've grown to enjoy Adam Cole's work. I'd love to see them face off. With that being said, I would love Fish & Kyle to beat the shit out of The Young Bucks. I'm sick of Matt & Nick.

I’m 99% sure that’s where this is all headed. O’Reilly, Owens and Gargano are almost definitely joining AEW next year. There’s going to be a falling out, and you’re gonna see ReDragon vs The Young Bucks with Adam Cole caught in the middle. Then when he picks a side you’ll have a six man tag with Owens/Steen on the other side.

I can’t friggin wait.
