Being reported on reddit Blood Hunter (Devon Hannibal) in his match with Carlito for World Class Revolution went fucking nuts and beat the living out of a ref with a spike while children were screaming in horror.  Footage on reddit, the ref was gushing blood and looked like he had a cut artery in his arm.  The ref who posted on reddit said Blood Hunter was likely drunk and just like went nuts and stopped listening to anyone.  

When the cops are called, Kevin Sullivan who manages Blood Hunter told the other ref in the match to keyfabe them so they could police it themselves.  Ref was like fuck that shit.  

What a fucking shit show.  Blood Hunter then posted and tweeted the match when he got home.  Meanwhile the ref is sent to the ER to get staples to close the wounds and stop the bleeding.

Here is a better quality vid of the thing. Honestly, I think the whole thing is a work, all the way down to the newb wrestler posting on reddit and engaging and trying to get it to go viral. This is  KEvin Sullivan promoted show, you know, the same guy who legit had his wife have an affair with another wrestler for the storyline. 

The only thing here that hasn't gone to plan is just how much the ref bled. Everything else is a work.

Could be an old school work, but generally you do not want the cops to show up at your wrestling event as part of your storyline.  What said if it them working reddit, it is fucking stupid as part of the work is claiming they will never book the dude again.  First time they do, fed will get ruthlessly trashed.

My favorite part of this story, this guy was a WWE wrestler at one point. He was fired when it was revealed he had hep-C. Was the guy that bankrupted Abdullah the Butcher since he claims he got Hep-C from his match with him and sued Abdullah for 2.3 million and won.

So, the owner of the company hired 2 refs to work the show. Myself and another gentleman. Hannibal decided he wanted his own ref because he wanted to make a ref bleed, but the owner didn't want his working refs to bleed.



Prior to the match, I kept trying to figure out what was supposed to go down in the match. That's pretty common for us refs to do. Go over anything the wrestlers need from us. All I was able to find out was that Bloodhunter and Kevin Sullivan had everything planned and that the other ref knew what he was supposed to do. So I went to talk to the 3rd ref about what he needed from me, and he was busy making and getting his blade ready. He was taking a blade job, It was 100% planned for him to bleed. I need everyone to understand that.

this was posted by the ref of the match between Carlito and Bloodhunter. 

- Bloodhunter had his own ref, the one that bladed/got spiked
- there was no communication about specifics to anyone other than bloodhunter/his special ref/Kevin Sullivan (promotion owner)
- it was a planned blade job
- fun bonus fact; Blood hunter sued some other wrestler for 2.3 million after getting hep c from him. I bet he's got enough money to pay for someone to get stitches for a publicity stunt.

That ref has been eating blade jobs for his whole life, his forehead be looking like D'Von Dudleys. And those scars from the spike are all done out of the way along the hairline in spots that are done to make it so the scar heals as not visible as possible. Bloodhunter knew what he was doing to a willing participant. 

The best work jobs work the boys in the back; and these guys have worked everybody so work. 

Not just any wrestler was sued. Abdullah the Fucking Butcher. He is the guy that bankrupted Abdullah by claiming Abdullah hid an infected blade on him and cut him with it mid match.

This is what was coming out later in the reddit thread. It looks like the ref went to blade but did not get color. Hannibal insisted the match end with the ref bleeding and thought he would like like shit if things did not go that way, so they just started to go to fucking town on the ref with the spike. Ref agreed to blade, he may have even agreed to be busted hard way, but when you do send a guy to the ER to get staples in half a dozen places that is not cool. Shit like that will get you a broken arm fast to this day in some places.  

If this is a work, it is the stupidest fucking work ever as Hannibal is risking his YouTube revenue for it.  If it is not a work, he uploaded forbidden content on youtube, and they do not give a shit about keyfabe.  They get a few hundred reports saying it was non-consensual assault done for entertainment by the uploaded and youtube pulls the ads.  Not to mention a several thousand dollar US hospital bill.   Each staple is about 15 bucks, hospital software automatically marks up the cost by 600% to 700% so start counting.  100 bucks min per staple in his head.  Then room costs, admitting costs, tetanus shot costs, nurse costs, doctor consultation cost, procedure cost, ect.  All again automatically multiple by 6 to 7 to get the final costs, because that is how American healthcare works.  Looking at like 10k to 15k hospital bill, so more than the cost of the entire show.

If this is a work we have entered the fraud phase as they did a gofundme for the ref.

Hannibal trying to claim it is all a work now. The video was removed from youtube after a few hours though.

Promotor of the fed said in a statement they will not be using him in the future.

Well, this made national news this morning. Most sites are reporting on it.

Hannibal was the guy best known for catching Hepatitis C from Abdullah the Butcher and having his WWE developmental deal taken away because of the complications from it. Absolutely crazy that he would want blood matches still despite after all of that. Mistakes happen but cmon, how do you just take a giant spike and just pelt a man's forehead that many times? Even if your drunk how the hell do you even do that shit?

The likes of Jim Cornette, The Miz, Will Ospreay etc. have condemned this shit.

Even when I was into deathmatch shit, this sort of shit was unheard of outside of New Jack. It reminds me of the territory days when guys would break limbs of rookies because they were having bad days.

Hanibal got arrested for assault on a woman. If the fiasco from late last year didn't do him in, this one might. Adios, there's better podcasters out there. You are expendable.
