PS4/5 or Switch
Looking for good games with very little if any cutscenes and that also includes scripted walking segments that go forever.
Suggest 🥳 any genre

I think I need some more details, were there any games you were interested in before checking this thread? Because I really only have basic suggestions like Monster Hunter Rise, Metroid Dread, Nioh 2, Doom Eternal which have cut-scenes but they're not pivotal to the experience at all.

Kaze and Wild Winds System ! For real, it has very short cutscenes and no dialogue as far as I remember. I believe Rayman Orgins and Legends also don't have cutscenes and is all gameplay oriented, another series I think you would like. If your into Retro games, the Mega Man series outside of Mega Man 8 barely has any dialogue. There are two different collections available, Mega Man Legacy Collection I and II that covers you for Mega Man 1-10.

More so I’ve been told said games were good and then it’s tediously skipping 100 cutscenes and playing for 10 minutes, if I wanted to watch a movie I would. So suggestions like you have given from all genres are great. Is monster Hunter ice borne cutscene heavy? I have that as a ps5 freebie I’ve been interested in checking out Doom Eternal and Metroid Dread. How easily do you get lost in Metroid, I would a new appreciation with the genre in Axiom Verge but Axiom Verge 2 was too obtuse so I gave up.

(That opening cutscene is like 1 minute and after beating each boss you get a minimal cutscene afterwards) I wish they sold Bowser's Fury DLC separately but that and Super Mario 3D World might be up your alley too.

How easily do you get lost in Metroid, I would a new appreciation with the genre in Axiom Verge but Axiom Verge 2 was too obtuse so I gave up. From what I understand Dread takes after Fusion where it's pretty good at pointing you in the right direction. I own it but haven't played it yet but from what I understand it's just difficult, especially since they have these enemies that can kill you in one shot and you have to constantly hide from them like a survival horror game. Blindy has beaten it so he'd be better to speak for it.
Similarly I own three games from the Monster Hunter series and I'd be lucky if I spent more than 3 hours across all of them  . From what I understand though once you set your character up you're free to play through the campaign and there's online co-op that makes the game extremely enjoyable. The reason I recommended it is that the series is renown for being relatively pick up and play especially as Action RPGs go.
I have played Eternal. It's slower in places since they tried to incorporate more variety into the game (namely platforming...I think there may have been a puzzle section but I can't remember if it was a puzzle or if I went momentarily brain-dead) but usually it's balls to the wall action and a thrill to play.

Metroid Dread has a couple of couple minute cutscenes but they can be skipped if you don't care for the story but what will kill you is the 30-45 or so second long elevator loading, absolutely brutal. Each time you use an elevator which is required to move from biome to biome(8 overall in the game), you have to endure this so get a snack or look at your phone, do whatever. You end up backtracking to other biomes and the only means is to use the elevator in doing so.
If you are familiar with PS1/PS2 loading times, this is pretty much the same. Only on a 2021 Nintendo Switch game.

Of course I have a mind blank and can’t think of any examples but so many times I’ve purchased a game then a glaring issue/design flaw pops up that I wouldn’t have purchased said game if I had known before hand but never gets mentioned. Will check out Wild Masks, definitely seems you my alley from the other thread.

Not OG Bloodborne level's of bad(Which was mercifully patched within the 1st month of the game) but still!

Back 4 Blood Code Vein A Plague Tale Innocence (from memory not many cutscenes. Could be remembering wrong though. Plan to replay it soon). Remnant From the Ashes Bloodborne Mortal Shell Skyrim Hollow Knight (pretty sure this will piss you off though) Little Nightmares 1 and 2 (similar to above ^) Monster Hunter World (some talking bits when you discover a monster for the first time but mostly quests take forever and a day. You’ll be bored, but yay very little cut scenes). Maneater (some cutscenes, skippable. Not many once you actually get into the game).

Another one I can recommend is Yooka Laylee & The Impossible Lair. At most, you have Banjo Kazooie like cutscenes(The ex Rare developers went onto make Yooka Laylee and this sequel, the sequel is fantastic). Another Donkey Kong Country Returns inspired game that I know you will end up liking a lot. Be warned though, the final stage/Impossible Lair is as advertised and it's contingent on how much you collect because the more you collect, the more lives you get to complete said lair. Also very much skill & precision based. Might make you rage very hard but the rest of the game is very fair and fun. That final area runs 15-20 minutes long and it's really grueling. There's checkpoints sure but you have to be precise with the controls to progress, one mess up and it's a life taken and again you get a set amount based off how much of the game you complete via collection.

Otherwise I loved it so it’s a shame having to replay levels Multiple times

Otherwise I loved it so it’s a shame having to replay levels Multiple times Yes you have to get certain amount of bees IIRC to progress throughout the map but for the final lair, all of your lives/chances are based off how many bees/collectibles you have so if you got 95/100 you get 95 lives/chances to succeed where if you die, you lose one of them and you get brought back to a previous checkpoint within the lair itself. Technically speaking, you can beat the game within 10-15 minutes from the get go if your absolute magic at the game and can honestly beat this Lair with limited amount of collectibles by the end but it's in your best interest to have as many bees as possible because once they are all gone, you are dead on your last life and must begin the final lair all over again.
