This might not get many posts especially if repeating, but I have this idea.
In the S.Y.S.T.E.M. thread I was praising his promo and decided to include it with a list of what I assumed are universally loved promos.
Anyways the direction I was heading is for future references, if you could cement a wrestler's career with a single promo what would it be?
Like I know everyone loves Rock's Toronto Promo
Jericho's debut with the Rock.
Brock's Blood Sweat and Piss.
Yeah I've lost it.

Cool idea. I'll see your Hard Times and raise you The Cold Blooded Sausage Maker. Bret dropping truth bombs  More truth bombs. This time courtesy of Ric Flair. This one doesn't come up much but it blew my mind when I (re?)watched it in 1998 and has stuck with me ever since. If hokey ass Paul Bearer making goofy faces is too much for you than Flair's 9/14/98 return to WCW promo is a good alternative. *I'll limit it to 3 per post and come back later. But since I couldn't find convenient videos... Taz at Barely Legal Raven at Barely Legal Stevie Richards at Barely Legal Look, it was a great show for promos, k?

I still like this promo by Dusty better than hard times. More toned down and natural.
I just found Flair to be on top of his game in 1985 in the tweener role. Here he switches so seamlessly cutting on Dusty and Nikita then gets a rise out of the female fans at the end.
The title sums it up

Classic back and forth between Hogan and Savage.
This promo has everything, the apple being equal to Dusty's eye is classic. Paul Ellering puts a nice cherry on top as well

Arn Anderson means business Mr. Backlund feels like God There's another one in the same ballpark titled "Insane Bob Backlund Promo" on Youtube. If I had to come up with a Greatest Promos List I'm pretty sure half of it would come from just two men- Larry Zbyszko and JBL. Hard to pick just one to represent either legend but I'll submit this one for the Mayor of Larryland. Larry takes us on a wild ride before ending with his usual high spots.

If we're talking Randy Savage then I think this one has to be the one:
CM Punk's pipe bomb has to be the one for him, even though his promo when he signed his WWE contract on the ROH title should have been. Dude pulled a massive heel move right before leaving the company, and spit truth on his way out. ROH was never the same after he left and he knew it:
Also, remember when Elias was a guaranteed heat magnet and not a joke? I member:

One more then I'll give a rest for the night.
Undertaker talks about his wild ride through the desert with Big Show. I recommend you stop the video at 4:36.
Hulk Hogan shocks the world. For babyface Hogan, you can't go wrong with the glorious insanity of his Wrestlemania IV promo.
Fun Fact: The first videos I ever watched on Youtube were JBL promos and tributes. Literally the reason I went to that newfangled "video sharing site" was because I wanted to watch some JBL. Picking just one JBL promo is like picking just one Ric Flair match- impossible. But here is where it all began...

I still think the promo that Stone Cold Steve Austin was officially turned into a MADE MAN was when he interrupted Mike Tyson in the ring.
Obviously the 3:16 promo was huge and his coming out party, but Austin/Tyson was TO THIS DAY the coolest interaction I ever seen in wrestling. Tyson was THE MAN back then; not this old man we see now. He was still Iron Mike Tyson; the unstoppable machine. My dads favorite boxer. As a kid, it was the coolest thing to have MY FAVORITE WRESTLER get into that ring with my fathers favorite boxer. It was, to me, the moment in a young boys life where I was pumped up for my dad to realize why I was obsessed with Austin. Your baddest man versus my baddest man. Let’s fucking go.

Honestly anything from the 96 Bret stuff into 97 Austin stuff is just phenomenal.
Honestly this is my choice, but it doesn't seem to get mentioned as often as Austin 316.
I ain't no sexy boy.

For Scott Steiner I gotta go with these three This is the definition of Big Poppa Pump. He was the alternative to the overpushed, here he is shooting at the almighty Ric Flair, booker and top dog of WCW. Never afraid of anyone, he went after HHH, Hogan, Flair. He was redeemable because he was a legit tough guy and never had to truly kiss ass to get where he had to get. The only people who didn't like him are the bookers, business people and the ones who didn't want any fish to rise to the surface pretty much.

Trish’s promo with Lita in MSG weeks after the Edge affair came out pretty much solidified Trish’s skills as one of the best on the mic but I wouldn’t say it was her best?
Mickie James with the ‘Ashley in a Box’ promo.

Watching that My Way video reminded me that despite being a huge Austin fan initially, I never really took up drinking.
