Curious to see what people think is up with Black. I am pretty sure I pieced it together the main underlying themes and will share how I figured it out and what it is later in the thread, but before I do curious what people think is up with him. Why does he target the people he does, what is up with the eye, why is he spitting black mist, what is his ultimate goal, ect? Also what do you think are his influences are.
Also do you like this gimmick being so mysterious, or would you prefer it be spelled out more?
For those who do not follow it - House of Black is back on twitch. It is Zelina's old account since she cannot use it anymore.

I can't fault Malakai Black for bringing something different to the pro-wrestling world. What he is doing I've never seen before, and probably hasn't been done in a televised wrestling program. He clearly has a lot of creative ideas.
However, as a fan of wrestling, I don't want to have to spend my time solving puzzles, reading about the occult on the internet, and so on, to understand a wrestler whose storylines take up 20 minutes max every week.
All I can say about Malakai Black is that I like the way he wrestles, his presentation is cool, and I really like PAC's recent promos. Beyond that, I know nothing. But that's fine. Maybe I don't need to know everything. I enjoy watching Black's promos and matches without knowing the ins and outs of his occult references. But for those fans who do make the effort to know more, they get that extra value. Sounds like a win-win.

As long as the mystery leads to cool TV, I'm happy.

If you are in to the occult and like wrestling it probably nice to see all the extra things he probably adds but I just mainly like his fighting style. Like I am sure everyone doesn't notice some of the more obscure anime references in wrestling.

I do not like how he wrestles at all, but love the gimmick. Do like he has a unique style though so as long as others dig it that is cool. For me, he should be a submission worker to break's people minds. I assume he wants the character to be purposely weak though and not move into the Undertaker style where he is just a guy who cannot be stopped in a fair fight. Closest thing I seen to him was Tyler Black when he did the Project 161 account and his real early Age of the Fall stuff.
