How is Miz vs Priest in that Zombie lumberjack match worse than Fiend vs Orton at WM? The former was at least silly and funny, Meltzer has zero sense of humor or awareness whatsoever.

You know Meltzer is getting paid by AEW on the downlow when he has Alexa Bliss as the worst gimmick of 2021 over Dan Lambert. CMON Dave. This is Cornette inspired for god sakes and Meltzer hates Corny(And vice versa).

Yes in general there is a pro-AEW bias here but I don't see anything on that list that is unreasonable. AEW certainly has a solid claim to being promotion of the year, and All Out as show of the year.
Feud of the Year is more questionable, although the Page vs Omega match had a lot of history behind it, the actual feud itself wasn't that great. Unless he's somehow counting all the Hangman Page backstory as part of that feud, which is clutching at straws.
Looking more closely, it's pretty hilarious how Best Everything is AEW and Worst Everything is WWE. Maybe he is being somewhat unreasonable. Pat McAfee is far and away the best commentator in any promotion. At least he acknowledges Paul Heyman.

I remember Alvarez' coffee table book beating the Andre biography which was one of the best wrestling books ever written.

Meltzer's MotY was Will Ospreay vs. Shingo Takagi from Wrestling Dontaku.
WALTER/Dragunov made Top 10 but was behind The Young Bucks/Lucha Bros Steel Cage, Takagi/Ospreay from NJPW Cup, Syuri/Hayashishita, Takagi/Ishii from G1 & Page/Omega.

Rex Steiner or Hook should have probably should have got that one. Assuming they don't watch 2.0, Hook should have got that one. Steiner should get it for 2022, came in middle of 2021. Hook has had like 4 matches, Cargill deserves it over him. Bad Bunny in his 1 match would be in over Hook for the appeal alone had he been full time.

Most Disgusting Promotional Tactic of The Year probably should have been renamed if they wanted to give all the bad ones to WWE. They just need to get rid of the word promotional and it would been fine. Because since it is there this one should belong to AEW.
