It's the Go-Home Dynamite before Revolution and once again we've only got a couple announced matches so far, so expect more news to drop today.

The main event will see The SuperKliq take on Hangman Adam Page, John Silver & Alex Reynolds in a Trios Match. Also announced is the Casino Tag Team Battle Royale, and the winner will go on to Revolution to face ReDragon and Jurassic Express in a Triple Threat Tag Team Championship match.

Plus there will be a major announcement from Tony Khan himself. He's been hyping it up for weeks so it better be good, damn it. Khan also confirmed on Busted Open Radio that he'll be appearing to make the announcement himself, so he must feel it's that big. It's only the second time he's appeared on Dynamite.

Andrew Zarian said via twitter that he's heard rumours that AEW and HBO Max have reached a deal, and that AEW has procured access to an "International Promotions catalogue," whatever that means. Sounding more and more likely that he's purchased ROH and is announcing an AEW streaming service.

EDIT: I missed this earlier: Britt Baker & Jamie Hayter vs. Mercedes Martinez & Thunder Rosa announced for tonight.

-Khan isn't sure about the match order for Revolution, but says Page/Cole is planned to go on last, although he feels Rosa/Britt is the biggest match on the card.
-says he's open to bringing in Claudio Castagnoli.
-they are going to start recording crowd content for the new video game during AEW Dark.
-puts over Orange Cassidy for drawing good numbers, and seems to allude to him and Danhausen separating soon.
-RJ City appeared with Tony in Jacksonville, and Khan announced that he'll be creating content for Revolution. RJ City responded by tweeting that was news to him.

There's rumors going around that AEW's backlog of Dynamites and Rampages will soon be streaming on HBO Max.  As well as a catalog of international pro wrestling promotions will be streaming on there as well.

Hopefully, that ain't the announcement Tony's talking about.

Why don't you want that to be the announcement? That's friggin' huge news if it's true. HBO Max is sky-rocketing with content and just got exclusive rights to UEFA Champions League in South America. They're coming hard for Netflix.

If they do a trios championship, they really need to do lucha tag rules where rolls to the outside count as a tag.  Not sure why American feds are so in love with the tag ropes.

OR, maybe the huge announcement is that Khan bought ROH.

I think it’s both. He bought ROH and has their catalogue (which gives them exclusive rights to All In) and the entire AEW/ROH library plus future shows will be available on HBO Max.

Can't wait to see all the AEW is dying posts if AEW goes go to HBO Max and people watch it there instead of on cable. People already have issues with AEW only being on cable on 65% of measured homes and expecting them to match WWE numbers, who are in 100% of homes, or be a failure.

Rosa/Britt the biggest match on Revolution? Not even close. I'd say it's the least big match, and that's down to the booking, it should be a much bigger deal.

Storywise the biggest match would be Punk vs MJF. They devoted so much time to it. Rose and Britt you are dead right should be bigger. They nearly killed each other in the Lights Out match which Rosa won last year. This should be a main event calibre match but is not being built that way. It also should not be a straight match, or if so, lead to another Lights Out match for the title.

He was asked about that and replied with something like “their history speaks for itself,” which, ok whatever. Rosa is probably going to win and they’ve built the match less than Page/Cole, which also feels really thrown together.

Khan also said new stories and feuds will be starting at Revolution, so we’ll see at least one or two surprises/turns. That should go without saying at a PPV though.

Wrestling logic makes it work.  I mean if it was really unsanctioned then there would also be no refs, timekeepers, commentators, ect...

Another Lights Out/street fight would be dumb. Rosa earned her shot by being consistently awesome for months and making herself the clear #1 contender. Adding a stip would be dumb. Just let them put on a good match.

Now I’m realizing Britt has never beaten Rosa which probably means she retains on Sunday. I’m going to be sad if she doesn’t win. She deserves to be champ.

Britt will cheat to win which is why a no dq stip makes sense for a rematch down the line. Otherwise Rosa gets screwed then drops to the midcard.

I think tonight’s tag match is going to set the stage for Jamie Hayter turning on Britt. She brought in Mercedes as a new weapon, but Mercedes saw through her bullshit and went her own path. Jamie is going to see the light, and when Britt needs her on Sunday, she’ll back off and Rosa will win.

Rosa goes on to have some fun title defenses and Britt enters a blood feud with Jamie. BOOK IT, TONY.

Britt still have Rebel and Cole though. And a million other ways to cheat to win. I mean this is what Britt does, cheats.
