So I talked to Big Pete and got his permission to run a video game draft, as it’s been a while since we’ve done one and they are always good fun. I’m sure you guys know the rules to these things, however, I’ll still post them below for anyone that need’s a reminder.

1. Like every draft in the history of PW, this will be a snake draft. The last person to pick will end round one and kick off the second round of draft picks, the first person ends round two and kicks off round three, so on and so forth.

2. Once it’s your turn to make a draft pick, you’ll have 24 hours to do so. Also, if we can, it'll be helpful to tag the person after you, once we start making draft picks, as it'll move things along at a quicker pace.

3. For this kind of draft, I find people getting six draft picks to be a fair number, however, if anyone feels it should be a higher number of draft picks, let me know as we could possibly do eight picks each, if that’s what people want to do.

4. Like I said, this is all about having fun, so uh yeah have fun.

I'm in, but I will also echo RT's words, if VG regulars want in, and the threshold is already maxed out, I don't mind stepping aside for them.

If any video game from history can be drafted, then why are we limiting ourselves to 6 or 8 picks? I say absolute minimum 10.

I mean, we can make more draft picks than that, if people are down for it. I'm open for discussion on the subject, what number of draft picks do you think would be ideal? Honestly, the lower number is more so not to scare people off from signing up.

My slot is only on condition that no one else wants the slot, as I think is the case for RT as well, we're the reserves, so if you want the last slot, it's yours buddy.

That works for me.

I'll randomize the draft order and get the draft pick thread up, once I'm off of work.

Also, forgot to mention, draft picks have to be individual games like Super Mario 64 or Super Mario Galaxy, not the Mario 3-D All-Stars game. Also if a game like Pokemon Fire Red is picked then the original Pokemon Red (and the other games of that set IE Blue, Yellow) is off the table as well.
