You have to admit, Regal as a backstage agent is a great pick up, a lot of knowledge he can pass down to the younger guys.

You have to admit, Regal as a backstage agent is a great pick up, a lot of knowledge he can pass down to the younger guys.

Absolutely and he can probably still go in the ring too. He is awesome and was HUGE for the NXT developmental, he was HHH's right hand man basically. But still, NXT was seen as the inferior product with the likes of Jericho mentioning they were/are nothing more than developmental. Well, now your going to the cookie jar for the same "Developmental" group to fill your roster.

Bingo.  You do not pass up on Regal.  He is just too valuable.  He can do commentary, he work, he can train, produce, do agent stuff, scout, couch, mentor people in the ring and out of the ring, and be an on air authority figure.  And all of this he already has done and people loved him doing it.   Sure he is another NXT guy, but NXT is the only fed dumping people experienced people into the market regularly.  

Regal showing up was like the most obvious ending ever considering who was fighting and none of us saw it coming.

Well, they are taking the top guys from NXT and making them theirs.  They are not taking the trash that Vince and crew always wanted, like the failed athletes or roid users.

Well he said after he was released he did not see himself looking for a new job and was looking to live a quiet life of retirement.  I assume a bunch of his former students begged him to come into AEW, if only for a single night.

FCW.  When Mox did the sick man gimmick, he feuded with Regal.  Amazing promos and matches, worth hunting down.  Was the absolute best work Moxley ever did.   Which should not be shocking in any way.

They'll throw money at Gargano and LeRae too. and Ciampa if his deal falls through. And will hook them up as a tag team and not explain anything to the fans of their origins. 

I guarantee if Bron Breakker was ever made available, Khan would be tripping over his feet to get the son of Rick Steiner on his brand and rename him Rex Steiner.

Gargano left WWE to come here. He is friends with half the AEW roster. Ditto for LeRae and Ciampa. Most of these people been together longer than they were associated with WWE for.

Yeah Sting blew way, way too many years in TNA. So wild to see him going like all out in AEW for like no real reason either. He does not get more money to do this. And AEW would be fine with him just managing.
