This reads like a skippable episode of Dynamite, so I can only assume that NATH45 will be happy with the ratings results tomorrow. But there's some good stuff in here. The main event should deliver, the 8-man tag should be a fun match, Regal-gun is always a good time. I'm curious if CM Punk is going to interrupt MJF or not. I assume he does, but they've shifted to MJF vs. Wardlow now so maybe that's put to bed and he does his own thing. I could see him finally taking the leap into the #1 Contender's position. Maybe we get Adam Cole and CM Punk staring one another down to close the show? Hmm? Kinda sad that perennial jobbers Dark Order are getting fed to the Jericho Appreciation Society already, but I guess that's their job and they seem happy to be doing it. Wouldn't mind a decent feud between the two factions, but of course this is just going to be an excuse to get Proud & Powerful back into the mix. 100% expecting Proud & Powerful vs. 2.0 either next week or the week after so they can draaaggg that feud out even longer until P&P get something else to do. Blech.

That’s how you open a wrestling show - that opener fucking slapped hard. Some great near-falls too that had me convinced Dax was going to do it. I’d love to see those two go at it again, they’ve got great chemistry. Sharpshooter was a nice touch. That whole transition then the counter into the Vice was *chefs kiss*. The Austin crowd being absolutely electric and so hot for Punk helped the match greatly. Best crowd AEW have had for some time.
