No youtube yet, but Regal was on AEW Unrestricted talking about Mox and Dragon. On the video one he will show off his lizards.
Big news from it was that after NXT he truly planned to quietly retire and focus on his lizards and just relax for a while without thinking about wrestling at all. Then Bryan Danielson called him up and pitched him coming to AEW to work with him and lending his wisdom to the younger guys. Then he tuned in to see what they are doing and saw it was Danielson working with Mox and he was sold and his retirement was over.
Love Regal interviews. Sounds like AEW is blowing him away with the young guys who want to chat with him about how to get better and actually are listening. No talk about Yuta, but very likely Yuta is under the learning tree for sure.

Regal was also on Busted Open this morning. He doesn't do well with time management but I can see why people are drawn to him. You can listen to him for a long time without getting the bored. I know it has been said before but he might have been AEW best get so far.

Bryan was a great pickup but for shaping the future and polishing people who already have potential Regal will be greater in the long run. Because some people in AEW have great upside but some people will point out their weakness but don't offer ways to fix it. Others just choose to ignore the weakness and tell others they are fine. He finds kind ways to tell them that weakness and help fix.

Could be but just because you can do something well doesn't automatically make you a good trainer for it. And vice versa

Could be but just because you can do something well doesn't automatically make you a good trainer for it. And vice versa Sure, but by that logic, just because Regal did a decent job in NXT doesn't automatically mean he'll be that great per se in AEW. Calling him their biggest get feels like some serious hyperbole. I mean, Big Show was their literal biggest get. And I presume in the long run that Daniel Bryan, CM Punk, and maybe even Dean Ambrose will be more impactful gets than Regal backstage.
