I went with Jon Moxley because he’s never lost any momentum and gave AEW the legitimacy it was missing (Jericho kinda did too but he had already left for Japan prior).
Could also see some fuckery with MJF when he eventually wins and like gives the title to Shawn Spears who immediately lays down so MJF can be the first ever 2x champ. I think that would be hilarious.

Omega since he will probably get it in early 2024 from MJF after he claims he will hand it over to Bruce.

There's obviously a tremendous upside to an Omega face run. Omega v Cole would be a classic, Jericho is also the brand's top heel and if allowed, Danielson and Punk would achieve epic levels of heel.
