The next day on WWWF Sunday Night Challenge the WWWF World Heavyweight Champion “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes cut a promo, & accepted MJF’s invitation. On WWWF PrimeTime Wrestling “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes was in the ring waiting for MJF but he appears on the titan screen which he is obvious he isn’t in the arena he is in a house cutting a promo. MJF stated he never say to meet up in the ring, and he is in a house stated that he is no longer respect the American dream will become the next WWWF World Heavyweight Champion . He revealed that he is at one of his son’s house mock Dusty Rhodes by doing a impression of him telling him he will be dealing some hard time just like one of his son dealing hard times right now. He shows one of Dusty Rhodes’s son laying on the ground out cold while “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes got out of the ring rushed to the back.
On WWWF Superstars MJF tried to cut a promo in the ring but “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes comes out try to get MJF but he runs out of the ring, and gives a smirk look to his face. The next day on WWWF Sunday Night Challenges “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes cut a promo, and wants MJF in a dog collar match the next day on WWWF PrimeTime Wrestling MJF cut a promo to respond Dusty Rhodes he refuse for Dusty’s demand. However, the WWWF Vice President comes and that MJF versus “The American Dream”. Dusty Rhodes for the WWWF World title match will be also a dog collar match on WWWF UNMATCHED. MJF was upset and arguing the VP but VP stated either takes the dog collar match, or he his world title shot won’t happen.
On Saturday Night Main Event MJF attached current WWWF World Heavyweight Champion “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes when he arrives at the parking lot MJF busted Dusty Rhodes head open with the chain, and he tells Dusty Rhodes “I am better than you, and you know it!”

A week later on WWWF Saturday Night Main Event a segment takes place between both Jake “The Snake” Robert and Eddie Edwards which Jake Robert cut a promo first, and then Eddie Edwards decided not to form an alliance with Jake “The Snake” Robert. On WWWE PrimeTime Wrestling Diamond Dallas Page was interviewed in the ring but all three members of the Money Inc interrupt DDP, and the “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBase attempted to recruit DDP to join Money Inc but he refuse to join which they attacked DDP but Nick Aldis make the save which chase them out of the ring with the chair.
