Some stuff tonight that will pertain to AEW in AAA so far.
First it is clear whatever is up between AEW and NJPW is not AAA. They plugged the AEW tag titles as a big deal going over the accomplishments of Penta.
Results from the tonight related to AEW:
Rey Fenix is now the AAA cruiserweight champion.
Tara Valkyrie called out Thunder Rosa to prove her worth in Mexico. Also she may be Lucha Bros new manager. Not sure was not entirely paying attention to her promo.
Likely other stuff will happen before the night is through. Jeff Hardy's replacement still not announced.
Penta vs Blue Demon now in the Ruleta de la Muerte. Whoever loses both of their Ruleta de la Muerte matches tonight unmasks. Penta needs a win here or in the finals or he is coming back to AEW likely with no mask.
Demon opened the match ripping the mask basically off Penta. And Penta returns the favor later. This is such a dirty lucha match and I love it.
PENTA DOWN following a hammer shot to the ribs and destroyer off the top turnbuckle through a table.
He will face the loser of Villano IV vs Psycho Clown, and the loser of that match has to demask. Not sure if the finals are tonight or at the third Triplemania event.
