Lony Gotta grind for this endgame stuff between the Team Star conclusion, Elite four and Titan pokemon. Feel a little underleveled for this, barely scraped by Emi the fighting Team Star member. 

Even with my optimised team with Hyper Trained and EV stats I barely got past Eri. Ice Punch froze both my hard counters back to back, I was pretty much down to my final two monsters.

I'd recommend levelling until your party is in the high 50s. One good trick is to make a Ham Sandwich for extra normal encounters and taking out Chansey's around the Fairy Starfall base. This will level you up in no time. Consider all the typings you faced during the Gym and Starfall challenges and what typings you didn't come up against. Consider all their weaknesses and whether you have a Pokemon that has access to the move/resistances.

She was no joke! Lucario gave me a little bit of a fit, I had my psychic pokemon Espartha ready to take her down and she throws that thing at me almost like she knew what was about to go down. 

The Revaroom she rode on at the end was a nightmare, she was able to boost it's attack/speed/defense almost on a turn by turn basis. It was to the point I had to sacrifice Pokemon to revive and hyper potion up my Skeledirge since he was the only one who can take a hit from her, even when she was cheesing with the ground move High Horsepower. I was in my low 50's for this fight outside of him who was level 55. But I got it.

You actually showed me a nice spot above the lake in the mountains where there's a Forretress who is Bug/Steel and gets destroyed by Skeledirge and can't even cheese Explosion it because he's a ghost so I thought that would be the ideal spot to grind but if Chansey gives more EXP, that would be a good one too.

I'd stick to that area and just let Skel Let's Go. If you find you hit a plateau, then you can do the Chansey trick around Ortega's base with a Phys Attacker. You'll just need to eat a Ham Sandwich (ingredients can be bought at Levincia) to have them spawn more readily. You earn around 1000-2000K EXP per battle.

Don't be afraid to dump rare candies or exp candies into Pokemon either.

Amazing. I felt so bad when the Psyduck said "Oh god no, im afraid of heights & water" and got pushed anyway. Glad to see it landed safe. You don't ever treat an OG GEN I pokemon like that.

I just caught a Level 75 Male Lucario though, the game has changed. He has been a Smash Bros regular for years so he must be good. Wondering if he breaks the game open.

EDIT: Oh snap I went exploring in a part I never went before and I found a male Frigibax, I think it's the psuedo legendary of this game! Dragon/Ice! Both types I can use. This guy might bump Lucario from ultimately cheesing the game. Going to give this dude a chance. Hoping the 3rd evo isn't a letdown. He's got the Lucky Egg.

 This boy has the upside of being a DRAGON KILLA.

Bax is a Phys Attacker, so keep that in mind when you look after it's move-pool. Tinkaton is also a Fairy Type too which was made specifically to hard counter Dragons.

Also I'll need some help transferring Miraidon & Iron Hands over to my Scarlet save. Blindy if you're free, I can get you a Quaxly holding an Ability Patch (easy to clone, sells for 125K and can grant Pokemon access to their best passive abilities).

So I've officially wrapped up the game, I enjoyed Pokemon Scarlet for what it was. I know many people complained (not necessarily on here), but for me, the biggest issue I had was the game crashing once, when I was going to start a gym battle and that was it.

I finished up everything I wanted last night. Got all the Paradox pokemon(I caught extra of each if any Violet players wanna trade), got Maraidon, got all 4 of the legendaries(Jesus christ they are tough to catch, low red health but took like 15 ultra balls to get em), beat the gym leaders again and finished up the tournament. 

I agree with you, this game is still fun to be had even if the performance was pretty bad. Some parts of the game were 15 FPS or below easily and if you can overlook that there is still a lot to be had with this one. Think this game finishes in my top 5 by year's end for GOTY albeit I didn't play a whole lot of games this year from 2022. 

I've got you covered Blindy if you wanted to hop on around morning/lunch your time.

Playing through Generation III recently, I didn't find the Treasure of Ruin Pokemon that bad. Still, even at 1HP and put to Sleep, it still took me around 10-15 balls on one of them (the others were around 1-3). Playing through Leaf Green and Emearld, I'm used to 1/50 odds of catching Pokemon that have moves that can recover. Even with a fully optimised Smeargle with False Swipe/Spore/Taunt/Screech it could take me around 30 minutes-1 hour and there were times where it would still fail.

Still, if you weren't prepared for them I could see them being a pain.

The worst ones were the Legendary Dogs in Fire Red/Leaf Green. You beat the Elite 4, catch 60 Pokemon to access the post-game and get access to the dogs only for them to roar once and delete themselves from the game. I learned the hard way you save your Master Balls for it. The kicker is that they've got horrible IVs, so they're not even worth the trouble.

I hate to bump an almost three-month-old thread, but Blindy, and/or Big Pete do either of you have an extra Applin or one you can breed to trade me? I've tried to find them in my game several times now and it's one of the few I still need (alongside it's evolutions).

I can save you the trouble. However there is a static spawn that's easy to come across.

I had the same problem, it's one of those Pokemon you either have to sandwich for and then go to where it spawns or you just hunt it down like so.

So I had a successful night, the Wife and I decided to do the Iron Leaves and Walking Wake raids, and having caught them puts a nice cap on this evening.

Big Pete, Blindy, have you guys completed them yet? If not, good luck my friends.

I'm looking forward to the DLC expansion pass, despite the issues the game has (and really for me, it was just the game crashing once right before a gym battle), I'm looking forward to returning to the game and exploring what else it has to offer.

I organised a few raids over on Blaines' discord. We were experimenting with OHKO strategies, so at one point we had Scorvillain Spicy Extract Iron Leaves to max boost it's attack before hitting a Foul Play. We experimented with a few other set-ups but it's enjoyable to co-ordinate.

The only bummer is that I didn't check whether the item duplicate glitch would be patched out before uploading. I should have maxed out my ability patches so I could stock up on vitamins etc.

I've still been playing well after release taking down all the event teras and playing some VGC. That's why I hope the DLC introduces more QOL improvements so I can start making more teams and experimenting without taking hours to collect tera shards. Especially now I can't just clone 30 Ability Patches and have all the money I need to get the Pokemon ready.

I've finally done it, I got the last Pokémon I needed (Gimmigoul's evolution). I honestly think, this is the first time, I've completed a Pokédex. I'm tempted to throw in either Brilliant Diamond or Shield to complete those Pokédex.

We are officially one month away, from part 1 of the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC packs releasing. The Wife and I finally bought the DLC content last week (after we watched the Pokémon Presents), I'm pretty pumped especially after the last trailer that has come out.

Blastoise, Inferape, Feraligatr, and Emboar??? Take my money.

I'm definitely feeling that Pokemon bug again, I dug out my copy of Pokémon Sun and my 3DS, I'm gonna work on filling out my dex in that game.

So The Teal Mask DLC is officially out, I checked it out last night, however, I didn't really get a chance to dive into it, as much as I would have liked to do so. I think for this, and it's partly to challenge myself, I will only use Pokémon in the Kitakami region (Pokémon not found in the Paldea Pokédex), with Hisuian Zoroark being the first Pokémon on my team (as it was DLC bonus).
