Man it's been a minute with these drafts.
OK, so this is a really broad topic so what I like to do is go back to the roots and go with the franchise that changed the way movies were marketed and that's Star Wars. SW was the big merchandise mover and while it started from very humble beginnings it's fair to say they're still releasing awesome merch all these years later. For my pick I have to go with one the fans seem to absolutely love...
The 2010 Hasbro Millennium Falcom
This is one of those figures you would have only dreamed of when the originals were released. This huge playset with all the bells and whistles that gives you a piece of this larger than life franchise and allows you to get immersed in the fantasy. I'm not a huge Star Wars guy, but even so, if I was at a birthday party and another kid got this I'd be begging my parents for one.
So pick 1, I have to go for the legacy movie and the merch that's really highly revered by the community.

My idea for this contest is merchandise that was spawned from a TV show or movie, not merchandise that became a show (eg - GI Joe, He-Man, MASK).

Keeping the Star Wars theme - 1999 was a time of excitement with the impending release of the first Star Wars movie since the 80s. I worked at a movie theater then and it was nuts. The movie was a major disappointment, but the silver lining is there was some great merch, like this...  A Jar Jar Binks lollipop with a candy tongue! Feeling Gungan-curious? Might be prisoner of the moment and a basic bitch pick but I just ordered mine today and there probably isn't a bigger piece of television merch out there in 2022.  Hellfire Club Shirt (Stranger Things)Stranger Things is probably the television event of the year , Eddie is probably the new favorite TV character of the year and is beloved and everywhere and he and the gangs patented shirts are just fire. I ordered mine in a T-Shirt version because the baseball tee is uncomfortable but the point stands. Hellfire Club FTW~!

I hate A Christmas Story, the worst Christmas movie ever.
