Buzz Lightyear Toy - Toy Story

It's time to take this draft to infinity and beyond. Or more notably 1995 when Toy Story completely changed the animation landscape and became one of the most beloved IPs of a generation.

Naturally the movie spawned a series of toys and I'd say at the top of this list was Buzz. Everybody had these, so much so, originally they were hard to come by and it wouldn't be too uncommon for toys stores to completely sell out. I can't remember too much movie merch moving as much as Toy Story did around 1995/96, at least not in my lifetime so I had to go for it.

Scream - Ghostface Mask

Alright I've got to get out of the toy aisle for just a moment and find another piece of merch. We don't really celebrate Halloween here, but whenever we did have some kind of party, there was always somebody who'd bring a Ghostface mask - myself included. It was just such a horror icon and almost as easy as putting a bed sheet on and dressing up as a ghost. This is one of those things you'd only own to celebrate a movie, it's iconic and I know one of you has to own one as well.

Big Pete is a man after my own heart with Scream and Toy Story as his picks. Technically speaking the Father Time (Ghostface) mask was produced before the movie ever came out but obviously being in the movie catapulted it into a different stratosphere and made it possibly the greatest selling Halloween costume ever.

It's crazy that even though I would consider Buzz the second fiddle of the Toy Story franchise , that his toy gets most of the rub. The movie rings true when it comes to the cool new toy.

Los Pollos Hermanos Tumbler (Breaking Bad & Better Call Saul)

I like my merch to be subtle and not just scream the name of the movie or show it's from. The tumber does that - you have to have seen BB or BCS in order to know what it references. It's also cool and functional for a guy like me who is constantly drinking ice water.

I was legit thinking about Ghostbusters toys but I think I did that in the movie props draft. Either way it’s a great pick.

I’ve also never liked James Bond but Goldeneye was/is an amazing game.

I was a Goldeneye/Perfect Dark god. I was always the Bond with the white dinner jacket so I was intentionally easier to see. It didn't matter.

The Little Mermaid was a big deal in my house. We had the VHS and my sister's bed has Little Mermaid sheets. Turns out, however, there was a giant dick right on them.

I have Bond paraphernalia as well as we had that Little Mermaid VHS. It was my daughter's FAVORITE movie. I don't think the phallic undersea palace had much to do with it.

I don't own that many movie/tv inspired merch, but I do buy the odd cap and since we're a Wayne's World loving board, I thought what better than represent the greatest thing to come out of Aurora?

Also I'm never going to own this, but I think it would be pretty neat...

Jumanji Board Game - Jumanji

Finally a really obvious one, the Jumanji board game. This is one of the more natural movie-inspired products and it's one of those things you want to check out just to see how it plays. I think this is a more recent one that seems to be closer in spirit to the actual movie so I'm giving it the nod.

Movie studios used to send promo items to the theater to hand out during the first weekend (maybe they still do). Typically this was something simple like a button. However, in 1998 we received a whole box of an interesting item to hand out -
