And what a show it's gonna be. Night 1 is can't miss. Jon Moxley hand-picked his opponent for the main event after being impressed with Takeshita's battle with Eddie Kingston on Rampage last week. Since Kingston won, Tony Khan would not sanction a title match, but promised that if Takeshita wins he will receive a title shot in the future. Wardlow issued an open challenge for Wednesday, and Orange Cassidy stepped up to the plate. Should be a fun match and I hope it's a sign of things to come with the TNT title being taken seriously again week in and week out. Serena Deeb turned on her friend and ROH Women's Champion Mercedes Martinez on Rampage last week. Hopefully this means that Deeb and Jay are entering that title picture. It would be a good 3-way feud and Jay needs more experience with veterans before she can get to that next level.

Even if it's a joke match, it is a failed opportunity if Marko Stunt isn't the TBD. Luchasaurus would get the ultimate conflict before he fully goes on the darkside and heeds Christian's advice and just brutalizes Stunt and throws him out of AEW (again). Stunt will come in and try and wake Luchasaurus up and it will not work.

Keith Lee has some bad news following tonight but was vague about it. So assuming injury at best case and retiring at worst case. I think it was something to do with his brothers. His tweet said the news was bad and he dedicated tonight's match to them. He also posted something about asking for help when it's needed. Got a feeling one of them tried to commit suicide or something. Whatever it is it doesn't seem to be Keith Lee himself, although he might have to be absent for a bit to deal with family stuff. Gonna be an emotional main event it seems.

Takeshita should seriously pin Mox here. Fans love this guy and he hands Mox a rare loss, gets his title match in a few weeks, but Mox retains.
