Child black belts. Do you think they hold validity? Is there an age break?  Like, over under 8 yrs old

Only if you're doing Yoda flippy shit do I take kids belts seriously. I'm not saying an 8 yr old ain't rolling wheel kicking me in the chest but it seems unlikely.

I'm pretty sure they use the belts as a recognition of passing skill levels I don't think an 8yo black br is going to be kicking anyone's ass.


In other news I have been looking for an MMA gym to train at and there's none within 20 minute drive of my house. For a minute there a couple of years ago they were springing up everywhere... seems like it was a bit of a meme like Crossfit and F45 the hard core fans hang around but it ends up as small as it started.

I get a bit annoyed about the car wash thing, there will be some finance guru talking about car washes, then 50 other people do the same thing when it's only sustainable at about 2 or 3.

Same thing happened here with residential real estat sub divisions and also with laundromats.

I remember that one guy who filmed himself emptying out his washing machine tills and suddenly every finance bro was pushing buying laundromats.
