Hopeful atleast one belt changes hands tonight, but I really doubt it. Wardlow definitely feels like he is cooling off why to fast.

If anyone is losing tonight it Rosa. Tony doesn't like criticism and is regular listener and guest on Busted Open. And Thunder Rosa mention stuff about the imbalance of matches giving to the women. And while she said in wrestling not AEW. WWE and Impact feel a lot closer to an even split then AEW.

The ddt was pretty unique sadly the the frog splash didn't have the distance.

The final match made the show worth it. I was just about to call these shows a waste of time.

The ddt was pretty unique sadly the the frog splash didn't have the distance. That's the kind of thing that makes me miss some of the old-time announce teams, as they would have mentioned that (not in a Jim Ross WHY AIN'T HE HOOKIN THE LEG sort of way) and played it into the match.
If Takeshita had hit the splash cleanly he probably would have won, especially after the turnbuckle faceplant.
Takeshita couldn't quite land the move because of how grueling the match is, and how much damage he's taken/how winded he is, and he'll work on his conditioning for next time so even though Claudio got away with it this time maybe next round he won't.

I watched Rosa/Hayter and Takeshita/Claudio. Both great matches. Kinda wish the outcomes weren’t so obvious though. Makes watching these special events feel less special.

I watched Rosa/Hayter and Takeshita/Claudio. Both great matches. Kinda wish the outcomes weren’t so obvious though. Makes watching these special events feel less special. Yeah they really need to work on making these feel special. Most of them had little to no build up. And there was almost no chance any challenger had a chance.
