According to PWInsider.com, former WWE Diva Molly Holly has been confirmed to appear in the first ever Women’s Royal Rumble match taking place later this month.
Additionally, the report notes WWE has also reached out to Michelle McCool about a surprise appearance in the match, however her status remains unknown at the time.
Michelle McCool retired from in-ring competition in 2011, while Molly Holly left WWE back in 2005.
As for the Rumble match itself, the bout will feature thirty competitors, making it necessary for WWE to include some talent from NXT and surprise names, as the Raw and Smackdown women’s rosters do not feature thirty names. As we noted last night, Becky Lynch announced she is the final Smackdown entrant in the Rumble match, leaving only Alicia Fox and Dana Brooke as yet to be announced main roster talents for the over the top rope bout. Both Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss are ineligible for the match as they are the Smackdown and Raw Women’s Champions, respectively.
If McCool is there I will flip. I miss her. Please let them contact Layla!
